16/05/2026: The food is decent, dishes cooked just like grandma used to. An old-fashioned seafood trattoria. It's located behind the Follonica market and is always very busy. Good service, shame about the streetside location, but for that octopus, you'll be happy to settle!
12/05/2026: There were four of us for dinner, and we were completely satisfied.
The seafood and fish were delicious.
A must-try in Follonica!

13/06/2026: We dined at Il Pirata at the recommendation of a dear cured meat supplier. We were looking for a quality restaurant to enjoy a well-made Cacciucco. At Il Pirata, we found excellence in every way. From the beautiful venue, both indoors and outdoors, to the very kind staff, the excellent food, the carefully sourced raw materials, all our dishes were consistently above our expectations. The Cacciucco is made exactly like our grandmothers used to make. If you pass through Follonica, definitely dine at this restaurant. You'll take home a memory you'll definitely want to share. Thanks to Stefano, his adorable son, and all the staff.

21/04/2026: Well done!! Service, courtesy, quality, nothing is missing. We really enjoyed the spaghetti with clams and the spaghetti carbonara with prawns and zucchini. A top chef and a refined atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Really good pizza
The only flaw... the prices are a bit high.
04/05/2026: It was a truly excellent dinner.
A platter of quality cured meats and cheeses.
The stuffed pasta with Tuscan sauce was superb.
The wait staff was attentive.
We were the last guests to leave, while outside we could hear the carousels celebrating Inter's Scudetto victory.

30/06/2026: The Margherita pizza, and the others too. The best I've ever eaten. We returned two nights later. The dough was incredibly light and easy to digest, and the ingredients were incredibly fresh.
A very nice and friendly place. Attentive, attentive, and friendly service. We'll definitely return. The pizzeria's price is average.
18/06/2026: We have been there several times now and have nothing negative to say about the food. The terrace next to the parked cars isn't very cozy; definitely choose the terrace on the other side of the building... and of course, some waiters are more jovial than others, but everyone was friendly.

20/04/2025: Da dimenticare... siamo andati io mia moglie e mio figlio abbiamo preso un antipasto per due praticamente l antipasto non c era un filetto di maiale un tiramisù 61 euro per me un furto mai piu
20/04/2025: Super Restaurant mit langer Tradition. Vorspeise und Pizza, beides phantastisch ... und das Tiramisu (ausgezeichnet als das beste der Stadt) sollte man wirklich probieren. Wenn denn noch was rein passt, denn die Portionen sind ordentlich. Um einen Parkplatz sollte man sich frühzeit kümmern und eine Reservierung vorab ist sicher auch nicht verkehrt, die geht zumindest ganz einfach online. Handy sollte man übrigens dabei haben, die Speisekarte gibt's digital über QR code. Due nette Bedienung hilft aber auch gerne weiter. Kommen gerne wieder.
