The chef-owner, a true fish craftsman, a visionary who has found a way to preserve, distill, ferment, and always maintain the purity of flavor. A force of nature! If you're in Puglia, head to Matino and I'm sure you'll leave wanting to return soon because this delightful restaurant makes you feel welcome and leaves you in a good mood. 31/07/2025: We paid for the food, and it wasn't amazing, but it was decent. On the other hand, the service was pretty disastrous and the wait was excessive. In addition to the poor food, we started a new bottle of wine, and they simply mixed the two wines in my glasses. The service was truly a disaster; they showed zero professionalism.

22/07/2025: Breathtaking location, overlooking the marina... Fabulous by day and overwhelming in the evening. Large private parking. The owners are delightful and very kind. We booked our reception and they gave us the best advice. Super recommended.

03/08/2025: A very positive experience! Masseria Bandino stands out for its welcoming and refined atmosphere, immersed in the tranquility of nature. The dishes are truly excellent: quality ingredients, thoughtful pairings, and impeccable presentation. The place is very charming, perfect for both a romantic dinner and an evening with friends. The prices are a little high, but absolutely justified by the quality of the food and service.

02/08/2025: Great Masseria very close to Otranto. Friendly helpful staff and absolutely great pool with nice bar service. Good breakfast with lots of choice . Great bed with medium-soft mattress in a nice room. We really liked our stay here! They have a free shuttle to the center of Otranto which is also really nice.. sandy beaches at 25 min drive , great snorkeling spots in Orte (30 min walk) and Porto Bardisco

04/08/2025: Accoglienza top, cibo eccellente con ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. È stata una bellissima scoperta. Come sentirsi coccolato, molto cordiale Sergio. Poi il profumo del mare rende il tutto ancora più magico.

31/07/2025: We go there every year...but this year we were a little disappointed with the quantity and price...3 flat spritzes made with sparkling wine and not Prosecco, 2 Cokes, 1 Fanta, 2 chips, 3 fried calamari (aperitif-sized portions), which is to say, not enough! €83, an exorbitant price. Not only that, but we didn't even get a receipt to check, but it will be our last time anyway. It's a shame because the place is beautiful.

30/07/2025: Fish dinner: poor value for money. The pasta dishes are very small in quantity for the price. Furthermore, the pasta dishes are full of oil, not to mention the fact that the mixed fried fish is frozen, which is not expected from a seaside restaurant (N.B., the fact that the fried fish is frozen is only stated on the restaurant's menu). As for the main courses, they are also overpriced for the quantity and quality offered, and they are also full of oil. The staff is friendly, but we couldn't see the ambiance because we were sitting near the entrance.

21/07/2025: We returned, after a few years, to this place we love, and as always we feel at home. The owners and all the staff are extremely kind. The cuisine is unconventional, excellent, and of high quality. My husband and I had the octopus appetizer and the fish parmigiana, which were delicious. Then a first course with octopus, sublime. The price was in line with what we tasted. A wonderful experience in a magical place. Recommended for anyone visiting Salento.

20/07/2025: Un locale interessante, tipicamente pugliese. Vini dalla Puglia e non solo. Pesci locali, ma non tutti... In ogni modo freschi. Ho cenato all' aperto con la mia famiglia e sono stato bene. Cosa significa stare bene ? Lo dico a parole mie... Locale con un numero umano di clienti, cucina espressa ed onesta, un buon vino, quiete e calma. Consiglio a tutti i ristoratori pugliesi di puntare sul pescato e fare meno contaminazione, perché quando si cucina italiano si vince sempre. 3 antipasti, 2 primi , 2 secondi, 2 dolci. Ho pagato ma con gioia.
