15/06/2026: The experience at "Danilo Osteria Creativa" is one I'd definitely recommend. The dishes are a succession of flavors, clearly showcasing the chef's creativity, and the results are unforgettable.

11/08/2026: It's a shame, after many years of occasionally frequenting this restaurant, always having a great experience in every way. Unfortunately, this time I didn't say WOW, but rather, a sufficient dinner. The temperatures these days are very hot and muggy, and sitting in the garden, covered by a wooden structure, I expected to find at least some fans rather than asking for more expensive options. Both the customers and the staff were very sweaty, even in their work shirts... The menu features many first and second courses, it takes a long time to read, and the dishes are made with out-of-season ingredients, almost like a winter dish. The typical Lecce appetizer was decent without being overly generous. The first courses were overall decent, with good ingredients, but the dish was disjointed and had too much oil. The cooking didn't live up to expectations, and the scampi were not as good as some of the seafood. It's a shame I can't give more than a satisfactory/fair rating, but I think the lack of customer comfort is a flaw. The very willing staff at the tables are penalized by sweating due to the heat and the lack of a well-organized place.

08/06/2026: One of Lecce's little gems. Went there on our hosts recommendation and what a result! Good rustic fayre at a reasonable price. It's very busy and popular with locals and tourists alike. Both pasta dishes we had were house prepared and delightfully unique. A good and reasonably priced wine list and friendly professional staff. We were very happy and "molto pieno" after our meal. We will be back 😊

07/06/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant, which is recommended in the 2026 edition of the Routard guide. The fritura completa was excellent, as was the house red wine. A must-try!

16/07/2026: Enjoyed delicious food on the rooftops of Galatina, in the heart of the city center. The tender and succulent horse fillet was noteworthy. The service was prompt and the waiters very professional. The price was commensurate with the quality of the food.

04/07/2026: June 28, 2026; well, it's not what it used to be. The antipasti misti were okay, but the meat, a costata (in the EU, that's a ribeye), ordered medium-rare, wasn't quite right and was really tough, as if the meat hadn't rested long enough. The potatoes were oversalted. I pointed this out when paying, and the owner simply said: "They're salty, so drink more water." The pork tenderloin was dry, so it had been in the oven too long, even though it was wrapped in bacon. A shame, especially in such a well-located place. Kind regards from two former chefs, not from Italy, of course, but with very good knowledge of ingredients, materials, and cooking methods. Mihlen, that was then.

08/05/2026: A beautiful and very unique restaurant in Nardò. They transformed an old historic house into a stylish contemporary space while still keeping the original charm and character of the place. The staff were very welcoming, elegant and professional. The food was extremely fresh, especially the sashimi platter, it literally melted like butter. The grilled tuna was cooked perfectly, juicy and pink in the inside. What I loved the most is that this place feels much more modern and unconventional compared to the more traditional restaurants in town. A really refreshing find in Southern Italy.

13/05/2026: We were on holiday, the hotel and the staff were extraordinary good. They have own parking place front of the hotel. The breakfast is great. The castle and the port are near, and the centrum and beaches aren't far. We would come back if we could.

27/05/2026: Lovely restaurant in the center of Felline village, on a pedestrian square. We had fish, prepared with finesse. A complimentary digestif was offered. A very pleasant evening. I highly recommend it.

10/06/2026: We spent three days at the Club Azzurro Hotel celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary, and we were very pleased with our stay. We received a beautiful room that met our expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and always helpful. Special thanks to Ms. Daniela, whose smile, kindness, and dedication made our stay exceptionally pleasant and comfortable. The food was delicious, the room clean and well-maintained, and the pool was an added bonus. The entire atmosphere of the hotel is conducive to rest and relaxation. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a stay in Porto Cesareo. We will certainly have fond memories of this special anniversary spent here.

05/08/2026: Restaurant with excellent cuisine of both raw and cooked fish. There is also an outdoor space for tables. The focaccia they bring while waiting for the dishes is fabulous. Among the desserts to try is a fabulous warm apple tart with cream ice cream on the side ☺️

11/06/2026: Definitely worth a try. Don't let the location fool you. The food is delicious and high-quality. Ask Michele for advice. The tagliolini with sea urchins, the tuna steak, and so on are excellent, but whatever you choose, you won't be disappointed. Courtesy, friendliness, and helpful service. Excellent value for money. Truly excellent.

07/06/2026: Great location, excellent food, attentive service, and very friendly staff. I had the polpo with tomato sauce, which was delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would happily come back.

09/08/2026: A very spacious restaurant on the Santa Maria al Bagno seafront. The service is very good; the waiters are attentive and know what they're doing. We had a platter of very good raw fish and two first courses: a pacchero with tuna, which was quite good; and a seafood risotto, which wasn't particularly good, as we were expecting a little more. All in all, it was a good experience.

09/08/2026: Fantastic restaurant in Santa Maria al Bagno. The staff are incredibly friendly and offer excellent advice on food and wine. You can dine on the terrace in front of the restaurant to admire the sunset, or inside with great air conditioning, or on the vine-covered terrace at the back. The starter, main course, and dessert were all excellent.

21/07/2026: Beautiful location and friendly, attentive staff. Inspired by all the positive reviews, we chose to dine here without hesitation. We were disappointed by the tasteless first courses. Roast fish, including frozen shrimp and raw squid.

10/11/2025: Enjoyed the platter of mixed fried foods. Delicious shrimps which you obviously have to clean yourself.
