One of the many things that brings us back to Gallipoli year after year! Great people who run a fantastic, historic business with food that never disappoints, and unlike other restaurants, the prices stay the same year after year. So friendliness, kindness, and honesty... what more could you want?

We had dinner at this trattoria. The place was quite cozy, but the problem was that there were three air conditioners running in a room that wasn't particularly large, so even though it was summer, it was cold. We ordered linguine with clams, but the dish was cold. It almost seemed as if, being tourists, they treated us with indifference.

The fish, especially the raw fish, is fabulous, but unfortunately the rooms are echoing and it's very noisy. Otherwise, everything is perfect. The staff is kind and professional.

25/05/2026: Leaving a restaurant with a satisfied smile is quite rare these days. I hadn't been back to "Da Amedeo" in a while. A quick but substantial lunch, the appetizer of eggplant rolls with cod was excellent, but chef Andrea surprised me with this excellent dish, made with few ingredients but wonderfully prepared: spaghetti with mussels, yellow cherry tomatoes, and zucchini flowers, a hint of lime for a touch of class. The icing on the cake was the mopping up of the bread with his own bread. Top 👏👏👏
15/05/2026: We had dinner here one evening in May and were very well looked after by the owners. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was tasteful and cozy!
