16/08/2026: Good place to stop for a meal, prices are a bit high for the amount of food you get but the quality is not lacking.

13/08/2026: I called in the morning to reserve a table and they told me they only take reservations for the first shifts—7, 7:30, and 8:00 PM—while for the later shifts they told me they wouldn't take reservations, but to come by and see if a table would become available. I dropped by around 10 PM and asked, but they told me they were full. Too bad five people walked in before me, and there were a few tables free inside!!!! Boooo But are they taking these reservations for the second shift too!!! Too bad

07/08/2026: Excellent local seafood and very pleasant service. You can taste the family spirit behind this typical Apulian cuisine; I recommend the linguine with cuttlefish, octopus and squid, and the MilleFoglie or the traditional homemade Tiramisu.

07/08/2026: The food is excellent! I've been twice! The setting is cozy and not overcrowded, however, the first time I didn't appreciate the staff's attitude among the customers. There were some young people... it was obvious they were under pressure to stand on top of each other! And in front of the customers, they were getting comments. I think it's a shame; a young person is starting out and learning, but it needs to remain a pleasant atmosphere!

12/08/2026: It was a very pleasant evening. The food was delicious, the service was courteous and attentive. The price was absolutely fair for what the restaurant offers.

04/08/2026: Excellent dinner. For our appetizer, we had raw fish, which we thoroughly enjoyed. For our main course, I personally ordered potato gnocchi with monkfish and cherry tomatoes. They were truly delicious. Finally, I had the peach cheesecake. That was also delicious. We loved both the service and the location. The price was fair for what we ate.

06/04/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance, through social media, while searching for a place to have Easter lunch. It was actually an experiment, with the desire to spend a quiet day eating something good. The result was very satisfying. A genuine location, in the open countryside, with the sea on the horizon, with the perfect balance between rural tradition and modern hospitality. The beautiful stone courtyard, nestled among the tourist cottages, offers a lovely panoramic view of the pool, shaded by a young pergola supported by Lecce stone columns, surrounded by citrus trees, and a magnificent pine forest on the horizon. The welcome was excellent, with the entire staff being very friendly and genuinely helpful. Given the occasion, the fixed menu was tasty, with authentic flavors, dishes that leave fond memories and the desire to return. Returning for the place, the taste, the kindness? Who knows, it's hard to decide!

01/08/2026: Regarding the food, some pasta came cold to the table and the shrimp was almost inexistent, the 80 euro fish was good (per person)… in summary, not worthy to go there (we ate much better food at the Conad market). We were in a big family and did a reservation outside, yet we were asked to not speak loud (there were people with hearing disabilities in the table which required a loud communication and that’s why we were outside), if you have kids or are in a big family, maybe this is not the place to be welcome.

26/07/2026: A welcoming and refined restaurant, offering original and high-quality cuisine. We loved it so much that we returned a second evening in a row, choosing it as the perfect way to end our stay in Otranto. On both occasions, we ate excellently, appreciating the creativity and balance of the chef's dishes. Don't miss the mussel gratin, sea urchin carbonara, and spaghetti alla chitarra with mussels, lemon, ricotta, and bottarga. The service was attentive, friendly, and professional. Highly recommended!

05/07/2026: Disappointing experience. I ordered seafood pasta, which arrived cold and with the pasta still raw. When the staff asked if everything was okay, we politely addressed the issue without creating any controversy. Instead of receiving a simple apology, what I believe to be the owner arrived, asserting in a rather intimidating manner that it was impossible for the dish to have been served in that condition. We calmly reiterated what had happened, but the way the situation was handled left us more disappointed than the dish itself. At the end of the meal, we were told that they would offer us amaro (bitter liquor) for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, looking at the other tables, we saw that amaro was offered to all customers, so it wasn't a gesture of consideration for the inconvenience. Mistakes can happen in any restaurant. What really makes the difference is how they are handled. In this case, the ability to listen to the customer and recognize a mistake was lacking.

02/07/2026: We discovered this restaurant while we were at the beach, unfortunately (you'll understand why) on our last day in Otranto. It was the best meal we've had since we've been in Puglia (for 8 days), so since we discovered the restaurant for lunch, we've eaten there once more in the evening. First of all, I want to give all the credit and congratulations to the dark-haired, bearded waiter, from July 2, 2026, who served us at both meals, and was very professional, attentive to details and on top of his job. He made us feel very good and certainly deserves all the praise and a raise 😁. The location is right on the beach and offers a wonderful view. The interior looks luxurious, clean and well-kept. The food is very good. For lunch I tried entrecotes with truffle mayonnaise, which were brilliant and made me regret that I don't have at least one more day to eat again. I chose the beef cooked medium well on the waiter's recommendation, so it was perfect. Also, on the waiter's recommendation, I chose a local rose wine, very aromatic and tasty. My partner had gnocchi with pistachios, shrimp and clams, which were also very tasty and a large portion. In the evening we chose to eat sushi, and shrimp tempura. The soy sauce was very good, and the sushi rolls were tasty and aromatic. This time I chose a very good local white wine. Also, the dessert was very good, I had panna cotta and my partner had tiramisu, both very tasty, but here I want to note again the waiter who was very attentive to details and gave us a pleasant surprise. Although the prices were a little higher than in other restaurants (~75€ per meal, with main course + wine + dessert) it was the best restaurant I ate at in all of Puglia.

23/12/2025: My boyfriend and I went to this little restaurant in September. Fantastic place! We spent a bit because we didn't want for anything, but the quality of the food and wine was worth every penny. The fish was incredibly fresh, and they recommended the right wine to pair with the dishes. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable. Excellent customer service! High quality, definitely recommended.

14/08/2026: The restaurant is in a truly beautiful location, right in the center of Otranto and close to the sea. We ate very well, especially the fish, which was truly excellent. The staff were very kind, helpful, and always attentive. We really enjoyed our stay, highly recommended!

14/08/2026: I can think of only one word when I think of this restaurant...Bellisimo!!!! This restaurant is perfectly situated in an area that is in town, but not in the middle of the craziness...it has a beautiful and romantic patio, and an even lovelier interior. Upon checking in, you will meet the owner, Alessandro, that truly takes pride in what he does and caters to you from beginning to end. He asks you the necessary questions in order to make sure you are served the best dishes tailored to your taste. And let me tell you, the food is absolutely phenomenal. I decided to splurge and order 4 separate dishes (a starter, a pasta, a fresh fish, and a dessert). Although I needed a stretcher to leave (ha ha), the food was absolutely divine. More importantly, the bottle of wine chosen for me by Alessandro based upon my specifications was simply perfect. If I lived in the region, this would be a regular spot for me, A++

13/05/2026: We were on holiday, the hotel and the staff were extraordinary good. They have own parking place front of the hotel. The breakfast is great. The castle and the port are near, and the centrum and beaches aren't far. We would come back if we could.
