The setting is charming — stone walls, soft lighting, and that unmistakable southern Italian warmth that makes you feel instantly at home. I started with a seafood appetizer that was as fresh as it gets, followed by homemade pasta that tasted like it came straight from a family kitchen. Everything was simple, honest, and full of flavor — exactly what good Italian cooking should be. The staff were fantastic: friendly, attentive, and genuinely proud of what they serve. They recommended a local white wine that paired perfectly with the meal. Dessert — a classic tiramisù — was the perfect finish. If you’re in Gallipoli and want a true taste of Puglia, don’t miss this place. The food is good, and the prices are moderate. However, you'll need to serve yourself. There are several benches, and the parking is free and easily accessible.

22/10/2025: When chance turns into luck! We stopped in on a Sunday, coming up from the deep south, very hungry but with no idea where to eat. While searching, we found this place. When we first walked in, it seemed a little swanky, but as soon as the waiters approached, we realized they were simply professional, yet human. Impeccable service, fast despite the packed crowd, and above all, EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS. I'm originally from Puglia, and the orecchiette with turnip tops I ordered took me back to my grandmother's house. Finally, the price was top-notch, more than reasonable considering the market and the quality. Highly recommended (I'll definitely be back!)
