07/08/2024: We were here again this year, it is now a fixed stop on the way back from our holidays. The Hotel is located a stone's throw from the sanctuary, equipped with a large car park, also covered. The large, bright rooms are very clean. At the reception the staff were friendly and well-prepared, but without taking anything away from the others, a round of applause goes to Giuseppe, with whom we have established a family relationship for years now. Abundant breakfast full of everything, from sweet to savory, without taking anything away from lunch and dinner, recommended by the maitre Antonio, very kind and courteous, and served with great merit by Lazzaro, Francesco and Nicola, exquisite people available for every request. What can I say, see you again next year.

28/08/2024: Summer dinner that is repeated as a tradition, year after year. Cozy place, elegant but not too formal. Superb quality raw material. Fish treated with wisdom and respect. Try typical raw black mussels, purple Gallipoli prawns and the amazing natural fish carpaccio: like tasting the sea in just a few bites. Also excellent are mussels au gratin and tasty spaghetti with the catch of the day. Pairing with Chablis 2020, at the correct serving temperature. You pay what it's worth.

21/08/2024: La Nicchia is a restaurant where Apulian culinary tradition and courtesy come together. The mixed seafood appetizers and first courses are excellent. The second courses are no exception. Adequate prices. Compliments!!!!

15/08/2024: We had dinner for 2 with a shared appetizer, a first course each and a second course always shared (all fish except one of the two first courses)... the fish was of excellent quality and cooked really well... the portions gave us satisfaction... we are satisfied I also treated myself to a bottle of wine...the service was very welcoming...all for €67 Just good!

13/08/2024: Typical cuisine executed in a superlative way. Younger waiters, very friendly and polite and always available to make the customer feel at ease. Older waitress (owner?), more grumpy and unlike the other 2 makes you feel uncomfortable.

12/08/2024: Ci hanno portato a cena degli amici di Lecce che conoscevano questo ristorante: uno di loro ha preso la pizza, che era veramente grande! Noi abbiamo preso tutto a base di pesce: l’antipasto con il crudo di mare e l’insalata con il polpo alla piastra molto buoni, e abbondanti. Ottima anche la grigliata di pesce. Il posto bellissimo, peccato che i tavoli fuori fossero già tutti occupati.

06/08/2024: Location suggestiva ma cucina decisamente scialba e a prezzi elevati. Un’assurdità poi nel panorama di ristoranti locali dover pagare un supplemento del 14% del conto totale, in aggiunta ai coperti, per poter cenare ad agosto all’esterno e con vista mare. Si trova decisamente meglio

Heavy and difficult to digest dough, watered down by mozzarella. Disproportionate waiting times. Inadequate prices, €5 for a small bowl of olives and an equally small bowl of tarallini. €8 for a bruschetta with industrial croutons. The environment remains pleasant. 3 stars of encouragement in the hope that we will return to the past. Prices up, quality down. 12/08/2024: Yes. Excellent. Exactly what the other reviews say. Really really good pizza in Bari. I also had an excellent bottle of chilled negroamaro.

12/08/2024: On Sunday evening.. we sit down and wait forever to order, once ordered we wait about 1 hour to be served an indecent pizza! Hard, tasteless and unpresentable. They have too many covers that they can't manage. Set half the seats and serve a fair number of customers given the slow pace of the kitchen. All the restaurants were full otherwise I would have gotten up and gone elsewhere. Never again.
