...famous for its quality! Abundant and excellent. Unfortunately, its strength and weakness is that it's made inside the market... don't be shocked if you find wet floors and some typical local market smells outside...

The place is simple and is inside the market. I liked it, in the style of an old port restaurant. The first courses are excellent, the second courses and desserts are good. I wasn't really convinced by the raw fish. I like them served lightly seasoned, like with oil, lemon, pepper, or whatever the chef suggests. I'm not crazy about raw fish served completely natural, the same goes for the tuna tartare. Otherwise, I'll eat it at home. In any case, the fish is very fresh.

High-quality food. Friendly, yet very attentive service. If you want to eat quality fish, both raw and cooked, I think Falpesca is the best.

The atmosphere is small but cozy, comfortable, and inviting. The ingredients are incredibly fresh. The cuisine is varied and the choice is daunting... For me, coming from a seaside town, this restaurant is the best. Oh, and I forgot... make a reservation because it's always full...👍.

14/07/2026: The food was absolutely outstanding, full of flavor, and everything tasted fresh and homemade. The prices were very fair, especially considering the quality. We also ate at several highly rated restaurants in the center of Rome with thousands of reviews and much higher prices, but none of them came close to the taste and quality of the food here. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious food at a fair price, this place is definitely worth visiting. We would happily come back!

22/06/2026: Pappamondo restaurant is highly recommended. And there's a reason, actually, several. First of all, the excellent cuisine, featuring traditional dishes and more. Then the service, fast and friendly. And finally, the icing on the cake, the atmosphere. In fact, the interior is more of a small museum of wonders than a restaurant, where you can find everything from old mannequins and telephones to typewriters. Maybe the owner has a passion for collecting? I don't know, but I found it delightful. Whenever I can, I go there with colleagues for lunch, partly because it offers an excellent, reasonably priced set menu, from which you can choose a first course, a second course, and a side dish. Alternatively, you can order à la carte. Reservations are recommended.
