02/05/2026: I can’t recommend Hotel Bellevue Syrene highly enough. From the moment I arrived, everything felt exceptional. I was kindly upgraded to a sea view room, and honestly, it was the most breathtaking view in Sorrento. Waking up to that each morning was something special. The service throughout my stay was outstanding. Every member of staff went out of their way to make me feel genuinely valued, not just looked after. It struck that perfect balance of being attentive without ever feeling over the top. I want to pay particular attention to the live piano music at breakfast...which was so special and created such a dreamy and elegant atmosphere. The food deserves its own mention too. Absolutely incredible. Every meal felt like a real experience, with quality and flavour and special attention to service. The location is unbeatable, perched perfectly with spectacular views that you never get tired of. All in all, this hotel goes beyond what you’d expect from five stars. It’s a place that really knows how to make a stay memorable. Id highly recommend a stay here. The staff are incredibly nice, the setting is idyllic and the location is perfect fir exploring all that beautiful Sorrento has to offer.

13/04/2026: We were there on Saturday for dinner and returned on Sunday for lunch. Enzo welcomed us and treated us with white gloves. The place is very well-kept and the cuisine excellent. The recommended wine is excellent, the best Genovese I've ever eaten, but everything was excellent. Try the pastiera. But the highlight of the place is Enzo (and his daughter), the true hosts.

21/04/2026: I've been looking for a restaurant near Naples Central Station for days. I chose the old trattoria da Donato because of the positive reviews and the fact that it opened in 1956 (they closed yesterday). I stand by those reviews and am satisfied with my choice. Despite a small disagreement with a waiter, which was resolved promptly and politely, I can only recommend this trattoria to everyone. Furthermore, the clientele is well-mannered, mostly small groups of friends or families, making it even more recommended.

20/04/2026: It's a shame I only discovered this restaurant on my last day in Naples. Without a doubt, one of the best meals we had in Naples, but beyond that, the service was incredible. The restaurant owner (Marilene), granddaughter of the founder, is passionate about what she does and coordinates everything with great excellence! Incredible experience! I hope to return soon!

05/05/2026: Tourist trap! We love food and came here from a recommendation from our hotel concierge. Huge mistake. As my husband says, he’d call it a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Beautiful location, nice entry (prosecco and app upon entry- honestly if not for this we would have left, but we felt locked in), but downhill from there. Service goes away, has no recommendations with wine or food, does not check in and food is decent but double the price of everywhere else in town. Not worth it!!

04/05/2026: Such an amazing quaint high end restaurant off the main street in sorrento. The service and food was truly amazing, all the dishes we had were done so well. The atmosphere was spectacular with the vines above and the southern Italian decor. Go try it you wont be disappointed.

The staff and service are worthy of the venue, and there's nothing to complain about regarding the friendliness and service. We enjoyed dinner, sampling the various courses with pleasure, without denigrating the deliciousness of the pizza. The price also reflects the location. Worth a try.

06/05/2026: What a lovely discovery this restaurant was, tucked away from the bustling streets of Naples! Intimate atmosphere, only about ten tables, excellent service, and above all, delicious food! We tried the octopus salad, the pasta alla nerone, the pasta alle vongole, and the seafood pasta, and everything was superb. Thank you to the front-of-house and kitchen staff!

It's not just a restaurant; it's a love letter to Campania. Let me tell you about what happened at our table. Act One: Seafood and Tradition We started with Impepata di Cozze. Simplicity at its purest. Mussels, black pepper, a hint of lemon. When they lift the lid, the steam hits you in the face with the scent of the Tyrrhenian Sea. There's something primal and utterly brilliant about it. You need nothing more than a piece of bread to mop up the aromatic broth from the bottom of the bowl. Then came the pastas. The gnocchi alla Sorrentina were... well, they were like little, fluffy clouds bathed in sunlight. That tomato sauce? Sweet, deep, with a chewy mozzarella that makes you forget the world for a moment. And the Linguine allo Scoglio? It was a feast. Every bite of pasta was infused with the essence of seafood. It tastes as if the chef had simply gone to the port in the morning and asked the sea, "What do you have for us today?" Main Course and Sweet Finale For the second course – Calamaro alla Brace.
