05/06/2026: You absolutely need to book beforehand, which tells you everything. The setting, staff and food were amazing. You just have to go and try it yourself! We could have eaten there every night of our holiday.

11/05/2026: Randomly stumbled across this place late afternoon with starving teenagers when no one else was open. Umberto welcomed us with open arms, fed us and extended an incredible amount of kindness, hospitality and education on all things Ischia. It may come across as touristy, at first impression but I assure you, this is AUTHENTIC. The food was incredible, fresh and honestly one of the best dining experiences we have had across Italy. Highly recommend and thank you Umberto!

28/05/2026: The restaurant tries to be upscale and is correspondingly expensive. The ambiance is nice, the service is very attentive, and the food is okay, but disappointing considering the relatively high price. It's more of a tourist restaurant than a local ristorante. It was also quite empty. P.S. I know perfectly well that after my review, I'll get a long, offended reply from the owners... it's common practice in Naples with restaurants, etc., when you criticize something...

14/05/2026: Il Verricello is a truly beautiful place, located practically on the beach and just steps from the sea, a location that makes lunch or dinner particularly enjoyable. The seafood-based first courses are excellent, prepared with quality and carefully selected ingredients, as are the appetizers, which are tasty and beautifully presented. The service is fast and courteous, with helpful and organized staff. The prices are in line with both the quality of the food and the location. The only real challenge is parking: finding a spot in the area can be difficult, especially during busy periods. Overall, a recommended restaurant for those who want to eat seafood in a very charming seaside location.

11/05/2026: A successful lunch. We had an appetizer, a first course, a fish main course, a dessert, and water, spending around 90 euros. The price was consistent with the quality of what we ate. Carefully prepared dishes, well-balanced flavors, and pleasant service. We left satisfied from start to finish. I would happily recommend this restaurant.

06/05/2026: What a lovely discovery this restaurant was, tucked away from the bustling streets of Naples! Intimate atmosphere, only about ten tables, excellent service, and above all, delicious food! We tried the octopus salad, the pasta alla nerone, the pasta alle vongole, and the seafood pasta, and everything was superb. Thank you to the front-of-house and kitchen staff!

It's not just a restaurant; it's a love letter to Campania. Let me tell you about what happened at our table. Act One: Seafood and Tradition We started with Impepata di Cozze. Simplicity at its purest. Mussels, black pepper, a hint of lemon. When they lift the lid, the steam hits you in the face with the scent of the Tyrrhenian Sea. There's something primal and utterly brilliant about it. You need nothing more than a piece of bread to mop up the aromatic broth from the bottom of the bowl. Then came the pastas. The gnocchi alla Sorrentina were... well, they were like little, fluffy clouds bathed in sunlight. That tomato sauce? Sweet, deep, with a chewy mozzarella that makes you forget the world for a moment. And the Linguine allo Scoglio? It was a feast. Every bite of pasta was infused with the essence of seafood. It tastes as if the chef had simply gone to the port in the morning and asked the sea, "What do you have for us today?" Main Course and Sweet Finale For the second course – Calamaro alla Brace. 02/06/2026: We loved our room overlooking the water so waking up every morning was beautiful looking out the windows. The breakfast buffet each morning was delicious and plentiful. I loved sitting by the pool and actively keeping the pigeons away with the mini squirt guns. What we were so impressed about was how well your hotel put on a wedding for 100+. It was so romantic and executed so quickly. The food was delicious and the staff was so attentive. Thank you all so very much! Bravo!!!

09/05/2026: My girlfriend and I were looking for a quick place to eat typical Neapolitan food on Saturday night. We had a mixed appetizer, deviled eggs, half a glass of wine, water, a portion of meatballs, and pasta with potatoes and provola. Everything was very good, except for the pasta, which had melted Parmesan crusts. The flavor was a bit acidic and heavy overall (it's not the first time we've eaten it, in fact). When the waiter pointed out that we didn't like the dish, we were told, "Oh well, it's an occupational hazard." We didn't like the treatment. At the very least, I would have asked if we wanted anything else or what was wrong, or I wouldn't have charged for the dish (we returned it full). In short, we were treated superficially. Everything else was very good, especially the meatballs. The ambiance could be improved in terms of organization.
