09/12/2025: We were there with a group of five. During our five-day stay in Meta, we ate there three times. The pasta was incredibly delicious and, in my opinion, the best I've ever eaten in Italy. The carbonara is highly recommended! The location right on the sea is breathtaking. Therefore, I recommend coming in the evening to enjoy a wonderfully delicious pasta while watching the sunset and listening to the sound of the waves. The staff was always friendly and attentive. For the small town of Meta, this is an absolutely outstanding restaurant and a must-visit for any pasta lover! If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely come back.

01/12/2025: The best pizza in Naples is here!! We were four Sardinian friends, and on the recommendation of a local friend, we stopped by and tried some phenomenal appetizers... everything was taken care of by the professionalism and kindness of the maître d'... on our next trip, this is a must!

29/11/2025: Pizzeria Lombardi combines tradition, quality and the unmistakable atmosphere of a historic Neapolitan pizzeria. The wood-fired oven and the lively dining room create an authentic setting that immediately sets the tone. Today we tried their pizza of the month, a creative combination of baccalà, walnuts, provola, sautéed greens, anchovies, olives and capers. It’s rich, balanced and one of the most interesting seasonal pizzas we’ve tasted. As starters, the fried baccalà and calamari were perfectly crisp and light. For a classic choice, the Diavola (with a touch of ’nduja) is a great option. The soft base, bright tomato sauce and spicy salame deliver the right level of heat without overwhelming the flavours. Service is another strong point. The staff is attentive, well-trained and provides helpful recommendations even during busy hours, adding to the overall positive experience. Pizzeria Lombardi remains one of the best traditional pizzerias in Naples, consistently delivering quality ingredients, warm service and an enjoyable dining experience. Highly recommended.

15/11/2025: I bring approximately 1000 tourists to Italy as a tour guide and one of the best plates that I had in all around Italy was from this restaurant. Menu looks limited but be sure that the available options are beyond this world good.

09/11/2025: DON’T COME HERE! The Food sucks!!! I got the spaghetti and meatballs and was very salty and meatball wasn’t fresh. It’s not even an Italian thing. They charge $4 euro for water and $2 a person for cover charge, ripped off!!!

Appetizer: two mixed seafood platters divided into four; (photo) First course: vermicelli pasta with mussels and zucchini flowers; (photo) Dessert: classic tiramisu accompanied by coffee. The only flaw is that I think the price is a bit high, but nothing outrageous.

21/11/2025: Ottomano is a charming family run business with the kindest owners and servers. Not only did we try some of the best seafood we had in Ischia here, but the restaurant allowed us to stay inside with them even when they were closing, because of the rainfall that wouldn’t stop. We were unprepared and they kindly welcomed us to remain indoors as we enjoyed an espresso and cuddles from the owners dog. The mixed seafood appetizer is a must - it changed my opinion on anchovies for the better because of how fresh and lightly dressed in lemon it was. Everything is worth trying here. 26/10/2025: Taking the €5 taxi boat from S. Angelo to Spiaggia dei Maronti on October 6, 2025 (the day after the storm) was quite an experience for me. The sea offered otherworldly colors, and the visibility was so clear that I could recognize almost every house on the island of Capri. Things started off well for me! I had already bookmarked the Ottomano in Hamburg. I was not disappointed: the view, the food (super fresh alici marinati to start with, gnocchi alla sorrentina for the main course), a full bread basket, a large bottle of water, coffee, excellent service, and fabulous value for money. In short: simply delicious and wonderful! Il mio nuovo luogo di felicità – grazie mille! Tornerò!
