31/08/2024: I chose it thanks to the reviews I read but unfortunately I was quite disappointed. the raw materials are all good but in my opinion not prepared correctly. However, the thing that left me most perplexed was the frying of prawns and calamari: on the menu it was specified that in the absence of fresh products, frozen products would be used... and so far ok, but then if they arrive frozen, why pay for them at the same price as fresh ones!?! Courteous and extremely helpful service, right from the phone call made to reserve a table and sunbeds. A bit of an ugly location, certainly the least nice and evocative of the 4/5 restaurants on site.

We received compliments and positive appreciation from all the guests. A special thanks goes to Francesca ❤️. It was truly a day to remember.

22/08/2024: On holiday at the "il faro" hotel we had dinner twice in this restaurant where we felt pampered and treated with kid gloves in true Sorrento spirit. Compliments to the kitchen and the staff, and in particular to Mr Michele, a true gentleman and innkeeper such as can no longer be found. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

31/08/2024: The food is excellent - exemplary technically and with a lot of imagination. It is chiefly seafood, but there are alternatives if some of your group don't like seafood - and whilst it is expensive it is fairly priced and there are cheaper options if you're watching the purse strings. The service is brilliant and the staff are charming and funny and lovely. If you're around the Marina Grande you should definitely give this a visit.

30/08/2024: Excellent restaurant located in the splendid setting of the Marina Grande in Sorrento, on a walkway extending into the sea. The food is exquisite, the dishes are refined but at the same time with generous portions (try the delicious risotto!), the service is excellent with great kindness and friendliness from all the staff. Highly recommended!

02/09/2024: Wonderful hotel overlooking the sea in the heart of Sorrento. We decided to organize our wedding in this fairytale location. Everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail, from the welcome, the service and above all the quality of the food thanks to the mastery of Chef Raffaele Coppola. 5 stars are not enough to describe the fairy tale they made us live.

01/09/2024: It had been a dream since she was a girl...coming home during school I would pass there, next to Bellevue I would look out there in that small white window overlooking the wonderful terrace of Bellevue and I was simply dreaming... dreamed of since I was little I told myself and repeated to myself one day I will get married there...so it was on 10 July 2024 I fulfilled my dream, exceeding every type of expectation, that dream I had as a girl became a wonderful reality...it was the day best of my life. I never doubted the professionalism I would encounter. We write this review to thank all the staff at Bellevue, for the professionalism, kindness and attention they have always given us. I would first of all like to thank Mariamatilde, a very sweet professional, ready to satisfy our every request, always smiling and courteous, ditto Angelo, both with a humility of absurd soul. Mariamatilde was present at every moment during the wedding day, making sure that everything proceeded smoothly, but not only on the day of the wedding, but also in the days preceding it, she always appeared available and attentive. A special thank you also to the Chefs who were exceptional, following us from the choice of menus to the day of the rehearsal, giving us lots and lots of advice, scrupulously attentive, they followed us step by step, satisfying our every request, also honoring us with a greeting on the day of the wedding, thank you Chef Raffaele and Ivan you were wonderful. A last but not least thank you to the maître Nando who didn't leave us for a moment asking us if we needed anything, remaining by our side all day and after the ceremony we chatted, pleasantly comparing ourselves with him, a great person as well as a great professional in the sector . The waiters are always smiling, kind and courteous. We couldn't ask for anything more, everything was as we had dreamed, in fact much better, everything exceeded expectations. Not to mention the suite where we slept on our wedding night without words, breakfast in the morning in the room was something to take your breath away. Bellevue is a simply dreamlike place, with terraces overlooking the sea and a breathtaking sunset. The attention to detail, from design to construction, was impeccable thanks to Mariamatilde and Angelo. A dream come true. We will carry this day forever in our hearts like most of the exceptional staff at Bellevue. We are grateful for all the work done and absolutely recommend it to all newlyweds. 28/08/2024: From the owner to the last waiter, a kindness seen in few places, it should be like this in all restaurants but unfortunately it isn't like that, plus the food is excellent and homemade, meat cannelloni just like my mother makes them, Sorrento style gnocchi that melted in the mouth and then not to mention the desserts, all excellent and always made by them, even the pizza is really good and if you are passionate about spirits you will be spoiled for choice, 3 display cases full of high quality bottles of grappa ,whisky and everything you want. 100% recommended, if you pass through Agerola you must make a stop here

09/08/2024: If I could give 6 stars, I would. I spent the summer in Italy and had the pleasure of dining at six different Michelin starred restaurants. Ristorante President was an unexpected delight and was by far my favorite. We were the only couple in the restaurant the night we went, which was a pleasure for us, but a complete travesty. They deserve to be fully booked out. The food was delicious; I cannot describe how good it was. Words do not exist. Every course was wonderful and beautifully plated. The interactive elements of breaking bread the traditional ancient Pompeian way was so fun. The service was top notch. The wine pairing was generous and unique. I do not eat raw seafood or meat, and they customized the menu for me in a way that worked beautifully with my partner’s. The dessert was beautiful and while the texture was a bit one-note, the flavors were lovely. Our next trip to Pompeii will absolutely include this restaurant again.

06/08/2024: It's a tough walk to the restaurant but it's worth every drop of sweat. The welcome is very warm. The atmosphere is casual, Capri meets Costa Rica. We took the vegetarian menu with matched wines. Very tasty dishes with a unique touch. And the wines... it quickly became clear that a top sommelier is at work here. Let yourself be guided and be sure to visit the beautiful wine cellar. We finished with a grappa…choice from 200 varieties! The sommelier again took his time to help us make the right choice. And then came another surprise…the price. By Capri standards it's not expensive. We will definitely come back.

02/08/2024: Simply amazing! Off the beaten path romantic restaurant with traditional Italian food, but with a modern twist thanks to their Peruvian sous chief. The service was impeccable. We shared most dishes and the kitchen portioned it into two separate plates. Lots of little thoughtful details like that, bread tasting, complimentary amuse-bouche, and providing cool towels after our walk to the restaurant. Highly Recommend.

09/08/2024: Great food, and the most incredible service. Try the Chef's mystery pizza! Whatever he wants on the pizza shows up, and absolutely worth it. We'll be back!

08/08/2024: This restaurant is in the beautiful town of Meta, near Sorrento, we have had dinner twice, the food was great, we tried a burger covered with pizza dough and a sandwich with pizza dough, everything was delicious and the staff was also able to communicate in Spanish and at the end of dinner you can take a walk through the party area a little further down. Highly recommended value for money.
