07/01/2025: Fuimos aquí dos veces, una para pizza en la terraza de madera exterior, y también dentro para pasta. Ambos tiempos fueron muy buenos. Las ensaladas eran enormes. Servicio amable. precios razonables. Ambas veces nos fuimos llenos y felices

21/10/2024: After 2 days this was my fourth restaurant on this beach. This was the best food of the 4 by far. No fuss no frills just fresh tasty dishes.had to add to initial post, I have now been here 4 times and the food is excellent. The pizzas are some of the tastiest foods I have had on my travels.

17/04/2025: I went to that restaurant today, and I felt like I was wasting money. First of all, the food was meh, and I got a seafood risotto and the rice tasted nothing like rice, as it felt like it was well undercooked. All of the food was over priced and it wasn’t even close to worth what I was paying for. They charged 8€ a person to eat bread and the bread was stale and hard, and they only gave us something like 8 pieces of small bread. It costed 220€ for 4 small pastas. The overall cost was about 300€ for 5 people, and it was barely worth half of that price, so I would NOT recommend this restaurant.

15/04/2025: Wow, wow, wow. Da Paolino is fabulous. What you see in photos is what you get. There are lemon trees all over and it’s just simply beautiful. The service is unbelievable, and the food was excellent. Definitely a “must do” when you’re in Capri. Make reservations because it does fill up quickly.

26/03/2025: Very nice lunch; Buffalo mozzarella with fresh tomatoes, fresh pasta with artichoke, and sausage finally lemon and ricotta ravioli. Service was prompt.

02/03/2025: Amazing food and service, the best restaurant we found in the 10 days we were here. Nice local produce and food cooked perfectly with very reasonable prices. We ended up going 3 times but wished it was more. Will definitely go back if we ever come back to the area.

12/04/2025: Overall experience was good We ordered some chicken and seafood tasting menu The chicken was slightly undercooked but the portions were quite small for the price The seafood had good yet distinct taste. No fishy taste. There was some good cooking. Tiramisu was marvellous 😍 Long waiting lines. Baby chairs aren’t safe. The waiting staff does know what needs to be recommended. Downside- NO FRESH ORANGE JUICE

08/04/2025: A hidden gem just off the main thoroughfare in Sorrento; our party dove in here for our first meal after arriving, and it set the benchmark for the remainder of our stay. The choice of dishes is excellent, and the quality is superb. The staff could not be more helpful (or generous!) - we had a delicious lunch at Il Leone, and could see how popular it was from the constant arrival of diners throughout our meal. Give it a try - disappointment is NOT on the menu!

10/11/2024: 01.11.2024 - For you who are looking for an emotion, not just food, here is the right place. Located in the center of bewitching Sorrento, in an alley made special by the presence of this "Restaurant", which in reality is a destination for those who have already had the pleasure of sitting at the tables. Ivan, son of a father whose father was limping but still in love with his activity, played football in these alleys; now he serves tables very well and every customer is like an old friend. Thank you, because in a very short stay, guardian of an important date, you have given us an emotion forever. The food? Nothing to say; it was a sublime side dish in a corner of Paradise. See you soon.

31/01/2025: È certamente uno dei luoghi del cuore a Sorrento. È nel cuore di Sorrento ma in un angolino riservato che ti permette di essere al centro della movida ma con la giusta privacy. L'asso vincente è di sicuro la famiglia che lo gestisce da oltre 50 anni. L'accoglienza e l'attenzione sono uniche, mi fanno sentire sempre al centro dell'attenzione, anche quando il locale è al completo. Marco il sommelier patron attingendo dalla loro cantina di migliaia di etichette ha reso la cena un trionfo. Ci ha aiutati nella scelta di uno champagne per iniziare il menù degustazione e ci ha fatto proseguire con altri 2 vini spettacolari. La presentazione dei piatti è sempre studiata ad arte, in particolare quella dei dessert che sembrano realizzati da un pittore. Si sicuro verrò di nuovo a trovarvi. A presto un saluto anche ad Antonino ottimo padrone di casa. P.S. dopo la cena abbiamo visitato la loro boutique di vini e bollicine e siamo tornati a casa con degli champagne da sogno.

13/04/2025: The restaurant probably holds 200 people, so it's quite large (I found it uncomfortable). The service was attentive and friendly to a limited extent, but maybe a colleague was just having a bad day. The truffle taglierini for EUR 19.50 came with enough truffle flakes, but unfortunately didn't taste like truffles at all. The fried calamari was good though. According to observations from the neighboring tables, people go here mainly because of the “pizza by the meter” - it looked delicious and was enough for 5 people. Unfortunately not an option for me as a cheese opponent...

23/03/2025: Abbiamo cenato in quattro di Sabato sera. Il locale si presenta pulito ed il servizio attento e cordiale: il personale era gentile e sorridente. La proposta gastronomica è di alto livello ed anche sono adeguati alla qualità offerta. L’antipasto di crudo si è rivelato un’ottima scelta: in particolare, lo scampo e le ostriche Gillardeau hanno brillato per freschezza e sapore, risultando eccellenti. Molto buono anche il carpaccio di tonno, delicato e ben bilanciato, così come il filetto di tonno scottato con salsa al pepe verde, perfettamente eseguito. Molto buono il pane servito caldo. Il piatto migliore peró è stato senza dubbio il soffritto di tonno con tortelli di pasta fresca, un piatto sublime per equilibrio e intensità di sapori. La carta dei vini offre una selezione interessante, capace di accompagnare degnamente le portate. Consigliato al 100%!

15/03/2025: Ci sarò tornato 7 volte e ho sempre mangiato bene ma ieri sera si sono superati. L'accoglienza e il servizio da sempre impeccabili ma la cucina con il nuovo chef e il nuovo menù ha raggiunto livelli da stellato. Gli antipasti tra crudi e tartare sono un trionfo di sapori audaci ma raffinatissimi. Tra i primi "A paranza e mare " é un viaggio multisensoriale dei sapori del mare mediterraneo. La freschezza dei secondi e del pescato del giorno proverbiali. Il tutto innaffiato da una pazzesco Lacryma Christi "Villa Dora" di Somma vesuviana. Senza esagerare é stata un'esperienza emozionale. Poche volte ho mangiato così bene in vita mia 🙏.

01/03/2025: Had pizza and drinks. They have a real pizza oven! Pizza was great. Service unobtrusive. Atmosphere cozy. Will come back again definitely.
