19/05/2025: per la festa della mamma locale SOLD OUT - PESCE FRESCHISSIMO - personale attento e disponibile nonostante il locale pieno- prezzi giusti da ritornare per provare la pizza che aveva come si suol dire una bella faccia- alla prossima

12/05/2025: E' parecchie volte che andiamo da boccuccia di rosa, ma devo riconoscere che e' sempre meglio, in tutto ...cibo ...servizio...accoglienza e location. Siamo andati in 21 per la festa della mamma, tutta la famiglia e siamo stati benissimo nonostante era abbastanza affollato. Abbiamo scelto degli antipasti di mare accompagnati da un buon prosecco ( Freschi e buonissimi,,,) polipo all'insalata...seppie ai friarielli...pesce bandiera marinato (delizia) ...alici fritte in cartoccio ed altre portate che ora non mi sovvengono...in porzioni abbondanti...per passare a : linguine ai frutti di mare...ravioli ai gamberi...risotto alla pescatora...la quantita' e qualita' dei frutti di mare era pantagruelica...devo complimentarmi con il veloce e gentilissimo servizio. Ma sopratutto con il proprietario sig. Michele che ha saputo racchiudere profesionalita', disponiblita' e simpatia in un nome : Boccuccia di rosa...uno dei migliori ristoranti a Napoli.

23/02/2025: I was in the restaurant a few weeks ago, what can I say about quality/price, it's not all bad, the dishes cost sky high, badly presented, poor quality and cooked worse, unwelcoming place, honestly they could even make it more fascinating and warm if it's cold in there...Never again!! if you want to have high prices at least present dishes that are up to par and change the chef Stringy meat, raw mushrooms, escarole tasting only of water and cold, unappealing bread, unpleasant appetizer, you couldn't taste anything incomprehensible enough to understand that it was on the plate... an unrefined environment, money wasted!!!!!

03/06/2025: Truly amazing place! Service was top notch, and the seafood was amazing! They served us an amazing spread that covered the table, and recommended some great wines. This is a must go to spot in Sorrento!

13/05/2025: Food ok, but waiters at least strange. When handing over the bill the waiter said that the tip was not included in the bill, but the coperto was. It's desperate, so he got nothing.

04/05/2025: Had dinner here our first night and last night in Sorrento. Very accommodating and pleasant owner/manager (Michele). First experience was much better than the second. The first night, antipasti was delicious, wine recommendation was perfect for the meal.(however, they only had one bottle of that wine, and had to substitute the 2nd bottle with another kind). BUT only 2 of the 4 meals were good. 2 (bad) meals were "fresh" fish. The fish was dry (we suspect the fish was not all that fresh) and not properly deboned before plating. We thought we’d give them a 2nd chance.. probably the wrong thing to do. Antipasti was terrible, pasta dishes were all too salty and we could not eat them, once again they ran out of the wine we first ordered after one bottle (even though we specifically asked them if they had enough before choosing the wine for the meal). Again substituting another wine. Overall, a bad experience. Probably not the best choice if you are looking for good, consistent Italian food.

26/04/2025: Abundance of excellent food and hospitality, this is how I would define my experience in this restaurant. Starting with the appetizers, the homemade fried foods are sublime, the Casertana mozzarella is the best, the fish in the seafood salad is extremely fresh. Then we had fish first courses, Sorrento style gnocchi and for the children chicken cutlet and beef fillet accompanied by stellar homemade chips. Mrs Patrizia, an excellent hostess, offered us a taste of bucatini with rabbit sauce which she is very proud of, they were excellent too! It's a shame that we only discovered this place the evening before leaving, when we go to Ischia again it will be a fixed stop! To conclude, coffee and a herbal liqueur are also excellent... We can't wait to return! Thank you

02/05/2025: Last night I was at the O Porticciulo restaurant in Ischia and I must say that it was a truly pleasant experience. The restaurant is elegant but with a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for a fish dinner with friends. Well-prepared dishes, very fresh raw materials and attentive service. The prawn tartare was delicate and tasty, with a truly refined presentation (see photo). We took various fish dishes, including octopus, sea bream and sea bass fillet, all well cooked. Bill of 238 euros for 4, just right for the quality offered. A bottle of wine for €39. Only tip: it's best to book because it fills up easily. If you are in Ischia and want to eat good fish, it is a place to try. Excellent cheesecake made by them.

25/05/2025: TOP level restaurant. Five stars without much discussion. I have to be honest, it is difficult to recommend which dishes to take because they are all good, I go in disarray: fried anchovies, calamari stuffed with friarielli and provola, sauté, pastiera to list just a few. Go calmly and let your sensations guide you, you will not go wrong! If you are in doubt, ask and they will be able to advise you. I will return.

17/04/2025: I have been frequenting this place for years now and the quality of the products and dishes is always high. It feels like being at home, with family, in maximum relaxation. I would then add the kindness of the property and all the staff. Recommended for all those who wish to immerse themselves in an experience of the Campania culinary tradition.

25/04/2025: My partner and myself enjoyed a lovely meal here when we visited Sorrento a couple weeks back. I had a freshly made pizza which was delicious and my partner enjoyed a really tasty pasta dish. All in all we had a very pleasant experience and I would definitely come back here again if we were ever lucky enough to be visiting that part of Italy again. Thank you

13/05/2025: Non è la prima volta e sono felice di essere ritornato. La qualità del pescato è ottima e il servizio abbastanza buono. Il locale arredato piacevolmente. Abbiamo assaggiato il piatto di crudi che non è abbondantissimo ma di ottima qualità anche il secondo: tonno è un pesce alla griglia hanno rispettato le aspettative. Conto adeguato alla qualità.

01/06/2025: Oggi, 1° giugno, cena. Siamo in 7 per una breve esperienza napoletana e, stasera, su indicazione di un signore indigeno, ci dirigiamo in questa trattoria, previa telefonata per capire la loro possibilità ad accoglierci. Buona esperienza in un ottimo ambiente ed con un servizio cordiale. 2 gustosi baccalà arrostiti, 2 buonissimi baccalà alla siciliana, poi calamaro ripieno e polpo arrosto ben fatti. Infine, un commensale ha optato per scialatielli allo scoglio molto buoni (a suo dire). Una bottiglia di locale falanghina, 6 coppette di frutta tipo macedonia e un babà al rhum gustoso. Conclusioni: da consigliare ad amici e parenti in visita al Vomero.
