24/08/2025: We had the opportunity to take a cooking class here as a family and then we returned to the restaurant the next night for dinner. The food was amazing and so was the service and atmosphere! If you have celiac or need to eat gluten free, the chef is an expert at making dishes gluten free (including all the pastas). He will absolutely avoid any cross contamination. Also, the cooking class that we took was gluten free.

04/11/2025: 5/5 stars! We visited this charming tavern and received a warm welcome from the friendly owner. The food was absolutely delicious, and the variety was fantastic! I especially want to highlight the homemade dessert – the panna cotta with caramel and blueberries was simply divine! My wife ate two slices. The limoncello was also homemade and absolutely delicious. We would love to come back, but unfortunately, it was the last day before their winter break. Nevertheless, everything was fresh, and the prices were, of course, typical for Capri – not cheap, but worth every penny. If you're looking for more affordable options, you might be better off going to Mallorca.

08/10/2025: We stayed for three nights at the Villa Lubrense for the last part of our honeymoon and can't recommend it enough. Amidst the bustle of the Amalfi and the rest of the Gulf, this hotel is quiet and restful and would be great for both a weekend retreat or a longer-term stay. Its location is unbeatable, with amazing views of the Gulf, Vesuvius and Naples. There is a small, rocky beach that is about a 15 minute hike down the rock face. By the beach are a few restaurants (the one we went to had the best pasta we had in Italy). It's also easy to get to the Bagni Regina Giovanna (a must-see and worth the 30 min walk from the Villa - or 20 mins if you take the bus to Capo) and to Sorrento (about 15 mins by bus which costs 2 euro and comes every 20 mins). If you feel comfortable renting a scooter, it would definitely be recommended, as the bus is not fully reliable - make sure you note where the bus stops are. Overall we had no issues though. I also want to specifically thank Fabiola for the wonderful service. After a difficult day (and a mistake on my part) we arrived late and Fabiola stayed late and picked us up herself - it saved our honeymoon and I'll always remember the gesture!

02/10/2025: The complex is beautiful, our room was not good, lots of background noise and old, breakfast was often simply empty, a ten-minute wait for a roll, sausage out... If you love breakfast, it's terrible. ADDITION, ADDITION: For the last three days, a different person has prepared breakfast, and lo and behold, there was sausage and eggs... The response to my hotel review, that we were late for breakfast, is not true; we were at breakfast between 8:10 and 9:30.

Additionally to the response received ****** "Thank you for your response, which accurately reflects the kind of welcome I received: little professionalism and a lot of sarcasm. 27/10/2025: We had a very pleasant evening with a special dessert recommended by our waiter, very kind and service oriented (Argentinian sorry for missing the name). We chose the dessert degustation since it was late at night and even suggested blankets for the cold evening. A very special place with a beautiful atmosphere under Capri lemon trees.

19/10/2025: Kudos to Luca from the wine shop, who is kind and professional! We had two whole-wheat focaccias, truly delicious, in a beautifully landscaped Mediterranean garden. We'll definitely be back.

11/09/2025: I'd heard good things about it, but unfortunately I was very disappointed. The portions were really small and the prices were high. They weigh the fish and price the dishes differently. We had a mixed grill for two. The plate contained five shrimp, half a slice of swordfish, and a cuttlefish. Not to mention the appetizer: five portions that could barely be seen on the plate. I definitely won't be returning.

21/10/2025: Aside from the spectacular views you can enjoy because Villa Elvira was built on an early Christian necropolis, I can guarantee that there's truly a perfect combination of style, service, and culinary quality. 5 stars, all deserved.

20/09/2025: This is one of the most remarkable dining experiences. We stumbled upon this place walking from Massa Lubrense, and from the moment we entered we were greeted with genuinely *world class* service. We were a little early for dinner so we ordered from the still-active lunch menu. Everything was delicious and perfect in its own regard. I’ve eaten in remarkable places around the world, but I can confidently say this is the most beautiful setting I’ve ever dined from. We were lucky to catch the perfect sunset over the sea. After dinner, we went up to the sky bar for drinks and desert. Again - world class views. You don’t go there to rush in and out, you go there to enjoy life. At the end, the concierge was once again of the utmost help, with a level of grace and camaraderie you almost never see. I will certainly stay at the hotel next time I come to visit. This will be the highlight of two weeks in Italy for certain.

04/11/2025: We discovered this Ristorantino a year ago here in Naples and thought it was absolutely fantastic even then. We recently visited dell'Avvocato again and had the same experience. Salvio gave us a very friendly welcome and served us well. The food was delicious. We immediately made a reservation for the following evening.

23/09/2025: A perfect balance between modern elegance and Neapolitan tradition, this restaurant proved to be a surprising discovery. The atmosphere is sophisticated yet welcoming, with attentive yet discreet service. The menu reinterprets Neapolitan cuisine with technique and creativity, without distorting its authentic flavors. We enjoyed two excellent versions of cod: fried, crispy and light, and grilled, delicately smoked and served with vegetables and lemon oil. For the first course, tortelloni stuffed with cherry tomatoes and mussels: a simple yet meticulously executed combination that highlighted the sweetness of the tomatoes and the savory flavors of the sea. Each course was a tribute to tradition, presented in a contemporary key with balance and refinement. A sincere, satisfying, and distinctive culinary experience.

19/09/2025: I preferred the old management... higher prices.. not at all satisfied, smelly octopus and dishes served different from what we had ordered.. making excuses and climbing the mirrors without even apologizing only the environment is saved for the rest it is to be avoided a first course paid 30 euros but it absolutely did not deserve it paying a very high bill for three people.. sorry but as long as this management is there 🤦🤦🤦🤦 mom mj

08/12/2025: O' Monacello I've always enjoyed returning to this restaurant, and for this very reason, today, visiting Naples with friends, I confidently recommended it. I thought I'd be on the safe side... but instead it was a disappointment. I recommended the pasta with potatoes and provola cheese, a dish that used to be a given. This time, however, it arrived bland, lacking salt and completely flavorless. A surprising lapse in style for a restaurant I've always considered reliable. I sincerely hope it was a gross oversight in the kitchen, because if this is the new standard, something really needs to be reworked. When you live off your reputation and regular customers, certain mistakes shouldn't even touch the plate. It's a shame, because I was the first to speak highly of it. Today, unfortunately, I can't.

06/12/2025: This family-run restaurant, a small alleyway shop, has been passed down for 50 years. It is now run by the brothers Ciro and Ciro, who took over the business from their mother. The recommended dishes are the seafood rice and seafood pasta (invented by their mother 50 years ago).
