08/06/2025: This was a spot I would describe as a complete tourist trap- No locals and very misleading reviews. The pizza was mediocre- not neopolitan Or Roman and very bland. Crust and sauce were sub par. Gnocchi Sorentina Was fine and the eggplant Parmesan was very greasy - possibly jarred eggplant smothered in cheese/oil. The limoncello spritz was also not drinkable. My review would have been more favorable had the service been slightly good- it was not. Do not fall for the good reviews here- try somewhere else in Sorrento.

26/08/2025: Eating traditional dishes, whether sitting or standing, is a fabulous experience. The doughnuts are light, even though they're fried, with sugar and lots of toppings. The staff is friendly, but the wait to be seated is obviously long.

22/07/2025: Entramos despretensiosamente no restaurante e nos surpreendemos com um serviço excelente e uma comida maravilhosa. O dono nos recebeu muito bem e deu recomendações sobre o que pedir. Tudo estava extremamente fresco e delicioso. Recomendo a massa com frutos do mar e a torta de ricota de búfalo com pera. Nunca tínhamos comido nada igual. Parada obrigatória em Pompeia! Vale muito a vista!

27/02/2025: Without praise and without infamy I will give him a second chance....his response speaks for itself, it denotes his lack of professionalism..I am unable to accept criticism, if he weren't so ignorant he would understand that it is needed to improve. Maybe he read someone else's reviews or maybe he doesn't know how to read at all. I am a demanding person, I am not satisfied with mediocrity, I savor it, not swallow it. If you don't like it, it's your problem, not mine. I treat myself well and if the place is mediocre I say so. That I don't have experience is your opinion. I understand that it's not nice to have a low-medium review, but in short, be a little more objective, and if your place has in fact been closed permanently today, perhaps I wasn't entirely wrong!! Hahaha he says I have no experience but he also says he has read all my reviews... think about it a bit and decide which answer suits you best. It's not a palace that does the cooking... and if you took my criticisms to heart and improved, I can only be happy for you. Here we are in Rome and here your restaurant wasn't doing so well!

06/06/2025: Mi dispiace non avere recensito prima ma dopo aver "pizzato" a oltranza in molte altre occasioni devo dire che la pizza di via Atri è rimasta nella mente e nel cuore! Non solo rispetto a quanto assaggiato una volta rientrati a casa ma anche durare il soggiorno a Napoli: dopo aver cominciato da qui ed aver fatto diversi assaggi in varie pizzerie anche molto recensite e conosciute, questa è rimasta sopra tutte la "indimenticabile". Dico solo che ci siamo fermati a "pizzare" anche prima di correre a riprendere il treno, nonostante fossimo ampiamente fuori orario... Per ripartire con il gusto capace di alleggerire la nostalgia della partenza. Torneremo. Torneremo non già semplicemente a Napoli ma in via Atri per pizzare con la gioia nel cuore!

29/05/2025: La unicità di questa bella isola è data anche dalla professionalità che si trova in questo locale. Prodotti di grande freschezza e qualità, naturalmente ben cucinati ci hanno fatto davvero sognare. Un ricco antipasto ben illustrato, e un buonissimo riso ai frutti di mare. Locale super consigliato

21/05/2025: Este restaurante era un gran lugar para cenar. Desde la cálida hospitalidad de Nino hasta los aperitivos más deliciosos que comerá, no puede equivocarse en Pane E Vino's. El pulpo antipasto era el mejor... no masticable y en un delicioso vinagre. Los músculos y la clase no eran masticables y con el pan mojado en el caldo, no puedes equivocarte con ninguno de los platos. La berenjena era tan buena que anhelábamos más. No había mejor brushetta ya que los tomates eran los mejores que he probado. Para colmo con Lemoncello que no era demasiado dulce y no se puede obtener una mejor manera de complacer a su paleta.

01/07/2025: Beautiful view on a beautiful location. Restaurant looks very neat. Only the reception was very disappointing. You were not welcomed. They even seemed surprised that we were there and when we sat down the staff was clearly talking about us and looking at us. Food was meager and the meat we ordered was almost only fat and not tender. Too bad for that price!

26/08/2025: This place is highly underrated at 4.1 stars in my opinion. Amazing value for good portions of quality seafood in a gorgeous setting, especially once the sun starts setting. We brought out daughter Emilia here and even purchased a bowl with the restaurant name on it as a souvenir because we loved the trattoria so much. Just go and order the fried sardines as an appetizer and insist the picky eaters try it, so good!!!

20/07/2025: For Japanese people. The taste is really amazing. It may not be suitable for those who expect good service. I would recommend this to those who want to eat something delicious at a reasonable price. I didn't eat much of the frites because I was tired or felt heavy, but the octopus and pomodoro here were the best dishes I ate during my stay in Italy. Above all, the prices are cheap. It's not cheap by Japanese standards, but I couldn't find anything cheaper there. As for alcohol, a large bottle of beer is 3 euros, which is definitely cheap. However, in order to offer cheap food, you always have to accept cost cutting somewhere. In this case, the service and facilities are not good at all. The lady is impatient to take orders, and when I was looking at the menu, she came to take my order three times. (Don't be discouraged, don't rush to order, take a good look at the menu and decide, everything is delicious.) The restaurant is located in a corner outside the city center, on a terrace with plastic chairs and tables, so don't expect anything elegant. Here, you have to pretend to be a local and order as much as you can, without expecting friendly, Japanese-style service. Just like in the Kansai region. However, at the end, the lady, who didn't even shy away from a smile, seemed a little pleased when I told her I was Buono, and the pomodoro was really delicious, no exaggeration. *Afterwards, when I checked travel blogs and the like, it seems that there are many Japanese people who are impressed by the pomodoro here. I felt like I had seen the true essence of Naples.

08/07/2025: A real local atmosphere, very non-touristy. They don't speak English, but it's worth stopping by because the food is amazing. We got really big portions, at a good price. They only give you plastic cups. If you really insist, you can pay by card, but they prefer cash.

26/07/2025: Disappointing experience and outrageous bill We asked the owner for recommendations, and he said he'd take care of it, offering appetizers and a selection of first courses. Nothing was agreed upon in detail; we just trusted him. In the end, we ended up with a bill of €470 for five people, including a few appetizers, two simple pasta dishes, and a round of Spritz. The most absurd detail? €200 for just two first courses. This was absolutely out of this world, especially considering we'd visited other restaurants in the area with much more reasonable prices and similar, if not superior, quality. We felt like we'd been ripped off just because we were tourists. We're sure locals would never have been given such a low bill. Be careful: always ask for pricing details before accepting verbal offers, and check the receipt carefully before paying. Unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant experience, and we won't be returning.
