26/03/2026: To say it's unspeakable is to give it a huge compliment: zero emergency exits, no disabled bathroom, mediocre food, waiting staff who can't even answer the simplest questions, a real mockery of everyone. On my way out I asked other people for opinions, and I won't even tell you what they told me about the owner, but I don't know. In the dining room, the people are really lacking in time, they can't even complete a sentence in Italian. I hope the NAS will intervene as soon as possible because here we are one step away from a disaster that was announced... BUT WITH WHAT COURAGE DO THEY OPEN THIS BROTHERHOOD, A PLACE THAT'S ALL APPEARANCE (AND THEN THEY GET LOST IN THE MOST OBVIOUS DETAILS (PLASTIC CHAIRS FROM IKEA) HAVING SAID THAT, I THINK YOU'LL UNDERSTAND WHO YOU'RE DEALING WITH... IN THE END I'M GIVING TWO STARS, BECAUSE INSIDE IT'S AN ACCEPTABLE PLACE BUT EVERYTHING ELSE IS AT -4...

09/03/2026: We had lunch yesterday with my family of 9 people. Very slow service, overcooked risotto eaten only because we were hungry, not to mention the fact that we ate separately, the first courses arrived in installments, to some half an hour earlier and to others half an hour later, my 2-year-old son asked for a penne with tomato sauce to arrive first but it arrived almost last, he asked for 4 glasses that never arrived, I end up saying that we will never return.

28/03/2026: The food overall is good, the staff doesn't know the names of the sandwiches and it took us a long time to eat.

04/12/2025: We were a little hesitant at first because the restaurant was completely empty, and we initially thought it wasn't open. However, we went in anyway, and the owner, who also serves as waiter and cook, gave us a warm welcome. It's a small, family-run restaurant. The food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. The salad was very simple and uninspired, but fresh and tasty nonetheless. The presentation could be a bit more appealing, but that's not really as important as the taste. In any case, we felt very welcome and comfortable there. We would definitely come back.

27/01/2026: I ate at this restaurant recommended by friends. It was my first time at this restaurant on Via Piave 133 in Cosensa. We were a group of seven. I immediately noticed the owner's hospitality, the cleanliness, and above all, the cuisine. The fish was cooked with simplicity and harmony, with a balance of flavors and imaginative presentation. I will definitely return. The fish was expertly prepared. Congratulations!

03/01/2026: It was my first time at this restaurant, and inspired by the many positive reviews, I wanted to try it for my birthday, so we went with my sweetheart. We had a great time, and the food was delicious, starting with the appetizer, which had several courses, all cooked very well and with care (personally, I would make the gnocchi with less oil because I couldn't finish them all). Otherwise, we had a great time, and the service was truly impeccable, and they even gave us excellent wine recommendations. I'm very satisfied.

29/10/2025: I don't often write restaurant reviews, but we had the best meal of our holiday here – almost fine dining, and at very reasonable prices. The historic building is truly a gem among Scilla's already beautiful architecture, and dining on the airy terrace overlooking the sea is particularly lovely. But what really made the evening special was the incredibly warm and welcoming sommelier, who guided us through the evening with charm and humor and clearly knows his stuff – even if you only order a single wine by the glass! Thank you for a wonderful last evening in Calabria. We'll be back!

24/10/2025: On our walk through the beautiful Chianalea neighborhood, we discovered this restaurant. It can be a bit annoying to climb a long staircase to reach the wonderful terrace overlooking the sea, but the effort is worth it because the views from there are magnificent. The entire restaurant is tastefully decorated. This carefully curated setting helped us achieve a very high level of gastronomic pleasure. We found the swordfish steaks to be very well seasoned and full of flavor. The tomato and burrata salad was a perfect accompaniment. The tomatoes tasted real, which is hard to find. Pizzo's truffle was perfectly cooked: we thought it was delicious. We paired the meal with a very smooth Greco Calabrian white wine. Both the maitre d' and the rest of the staff were impeccable in their work.

The artistic flair is unique, permeating every corner of the venue, both inside and out. The owner deserves a special review for what a wonderful person and artist he is.

01/11/2025: ...it's more than a hotel, it's also a museum where a computer scientist finds himself in his own world. I regret the lack of beach bungalows, which adds to the unique experience. The food is also excellent; I suggest improving the breakfast selection, even though it's still plentiful. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely return.

25/03/2026: The staff is incredibly rude, arrogant, and liars, especially those at the cash register. They lie and misrepresent the orders. Not to mention a wine they say they don't have, but they do have it, and then they don't bring it to you. Then they bring it to you when they want it. Not even if they were supposed to give it away.

09/03/2026: Excellent experience at Nettuno restaurant in Rende. The staff is very kind, welcoming, and always available. The food is truly delicious, with well-prepared dishes and fresh ingredients. The prices are also very fair for the quality. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back!

31/12/2025: This fishmonger also offers ready-made seafood dishes at reasonable prices. The seafood eggplant parmigiana and salmon lasagna are excellent.

15/03/2026: The food is just enough to keep you from starving, but the quality is truly embarrassing. Considering the price, it's a terrible value. There are many other, much better restaurants in Amantea: my advice is to stop at the restaurants in the square just before arriving here, or choose any other place in the area, because you're unlikely to eat worse. It was lunch, but after finding worms in the appetizer, our hunger and desire to stay completely disappeared. Despite this, we waited for the main courses anyway, which unfortunately turned out to be equally disappointing: flavorless and decidedly poor quality. Without exaggeration, it was absolutely the worst place I've ever eaten at in Amantea... and probably one of the worst of my life. A totally negative experience. 🚫🍽️

06/03/2026: A very welcoming and elegant restaurant, with a refined and pleasant atmosphere. Despite our late reservation for a large group (there were 25 of us), the restaurant was accommodating: we had initially booked for 1:30 PM but later asked to extend our reservation to 2:15 PM, and we were met with no problem. Upon our arrival, a room was reserved for us, although we were divided into four tables, an understandable choice to better manage such a large group. The service staff were always very kind, but unfortunately the wait was truly excessive: it took us over four hours to finish the meal. During the service, several bottles of wine ran out, forcing us to change labels several times and mix three or four different wines. Dessert was also a small disappointment: the tiramisu cream had run out, and some desserts arrived presumably hastily prepared, with the ladyfingers still quite hard. That said, the quality of the food was excellent, as was the atmosphere and the welcoming atmosphere. For this very reason, we believe the restaurant has great potential, but that the service and organization, especially with large groups, could be improved.
