15/09/2025: A truly pleasant experience! The atmosphere is refined, quiet, and elegant; excellent service, the lady was incredibly kind and sweet ☺️ and the food was spectacular! Dishes carefully crafted to enhance the flavors, fresh fish, and impeccable presentation. Truly a gem in the historic center of Amantea, highly recommended!

07/10/2025: I went with my wife and son in September for dinner in the ancient cave. The seafood appetizer smelled bad and tasted nothing like seafood. The octopus was transparent and smelled bad—you couldn't tell it was octopus carpaccio; it was literally transparent, like tissue paper. The rest was anything but anything that reminded you of the sea. Everything was frozen and poorly treated. Parmigiana was the sore point!! It wasn't parmigiana, but a mixture of boiled eggs drowned in tomato sauce. I don't think they even know what eggplant parmigiana is; there were only boiled eggs. I wouldn't go back even if they paid me; it was a TERRIBLE experience that's hard to undo. They have no idea what Italian or Calabrian cuisine is. What a shame! These people were improvised and had never worked in a kitchen!

12/10/2025: I used Kuopo for lunchtime takeout, and the wait wasn't too long, which was nice. Some markets are even more expensive, but for this price tag, it's a great deal.

12/10/2025: Very busy place, there were 5 of us and we waited about 20 minutes to get a table. The place is a bit shabby, you eat on the street, they serve you wine in plastic glasses and the food in disposable aluminum trays. The food is very good, they have a good selection of fried foods and seafood, also octopus and mussels. A more than adequate white wine for €6. Good price.

21/10/2025: I returned to my hometown, Crotone, for a weekend getaway, longing to enjoy good seafood in an authentic setting. After reading several reviews, I chose Piper, and I must say it was a perfect choice. As soon as we entered, Enzo, the host, welcomed us with that typical Crotone warmth that makes you feel instantly at home. The pasta is strictly handmade, and the menu varies depending on the day: a true guarantee of freshness. That day, they offered covatelli, a typical Crotone pasta, masterfully prepared with seafood sauce. A dish worth the visit alone. We started with a mixed seafood appetizer, rich in goodness and authentic flavors. I even tried anchovies, which I don't usually eat, but I really appreciated them there. Of course, we couldn't miss the "vrasciole" Crotonese, classic fried meatballs: both eggplant and meat, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. All washed down with an excellent rosé from the Cirò Marina area, a house wine of great quality. We enjoyed it so much that we returned in the evening: my son (15 months) immediately had access to the high chair and felt completely at ease. He again asked for the covatelli, this time with a simple sauce, while my wife and I chose two very fresh sea bass, cooked to perfection: soft, delicate, without excessive salt, a sign of careful and respectful preparation of the fish. For appetizers, this time, we opted for local cheeses and cured meats, which were also excellent. The prices are fair and proportionate to the quality of the products and the generous portions: not too high or too low, just right. Unfortunately, I return to Crotone less and less often, but of one thing I am certain: Piper will be my regular stop every time I return. 18/10/2025: Anyone who has never eaten fish can say it's fresh... everything frozen, appetizers without salt, fish canapés soaked and devoid of any fishy flavor, endless concoctions and a complete spectacle to behold. Lobster linguine with a cream mixture that hides the flavor of the frozen lobster.

26/08/2025: A place from another era: with a location like this, other entrepreneurs could seat at least 50 more people by adding tables in the parking lot. Instead, these revolutionaries decided to create a sustainable and attentive place, with ingredients that are meticulously respected by the chef, as well as extremely fresh and high-quality. Very affordable prices and warm stomachs. I love you, and please keep hanging in there!!

15/08/2025: Romantic and relaxing family dinner. Wonderful sea view. Fresh fish, beautifully cooked. Very good desserts. Negative note: The staff was cold and unwelcoming. We requested a sea-view table, but they gave us a firm NO, and it remained empty for the entire evening. We booked a month in advance... My husband paid, and the owner came right away to clear the table and take away our glasses. You have to leave. The glasses and napkins were dirty.

07/10/2025: A very good restaurant with very good fresh products! The wine is very good, the service is quality and the setting is really pretty. I recommend it and I will come back.

24/09/2025: We ordered an Aperol Spritz and they brought us another brand that looked more like Campari, since my wife doesn't drink it. They mixed it with a very good wine, it must be said, but it wasn't. I told them twice that it wasn't Aperol. The French fry mix was a 7/10. They never brought us the ketchup/mayo we asked for with the fries. The truth is, we were happy and left with a bitter taste in our mouths... we would have eaten a pizza anywhere with water and not spent almost 70 euros on a terrible experience...

08/09/2025: A perfect evening in a truly refined lounge bar and restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxing and meticulously maintained, with attentive service and a staff that's always friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a delicious seafood and mountain appetizer, accompanied by excellent drinks. The quality, cleanliness, and courtesy were top-notch. It's one of those places you instantly want to return to!

01/10/2025: A nice restaurant, in my opinion, but overrated, especially by the people who work there: I'd say it's a lot of fanfare and not much substance, the food is average (fried seafood with calamari, a few shrimp, and that's it), the tuna steak is unremarkable, but the prices are quite high, and the quality/price ratio is unbalanced.

We ate divinely: carefully prepared dishes, the freshest fish, and top-quality ingredients. The service was impeccable, attentive, and professional. A top-notch restaurant, highly recommended for those seeking taste, elegance, and tranquility.

28/09/2025: I have been there and continue to go.... I have celebrated my wedding promise, baptism, my daughter's first birthday and many other occasions and have always had a great time.

23/09/2025: I'd been hearing good things about this restaurant for years, but I'd never had the chance to dine there... We finally made it this year, and it'll be our go-to place for excellent seafood when we come on vacation. The waiter told us we'd start with an appetizer, which was plentiful, and the fish was super fresh, divine... We ordered fantastic raw fish... Everything was delicious, everything fried... The staff was friendly... The only thing that was a little off was that the owner came over to all the tables to say hello; he knew everyone except ours... But I'm sure there will be another opportunity, because we had a really good time, ate well, and spent a fair amount. I highly recommend it.

22/09/2025: We had dinner at this splendid restaurant, with private parking and very convenient access. The quality of the food, the pleasant atmosphere, and the knowledgeable and kind staff convinced us to return again. The entrees were superb, but the pizza reached levels we've only experienced in Naples. If you're in Tropea, you can't miss the experience of trying every dish on the menu.

24/08/2025: We spent a ten-day vacation at this hotel. Well, what can I say? First of all, compliments to the kitchen staff, especially the chef, whose dishes were truly delicious, simple, and plentiful. Also, compliments to the cleaning staff, whose rooms were always clean and tidy. The dining room staff were very friendly, including Mr. Benito and his wife, who were always attentive to service and guests. Compliments to Mrs. Enza, who was very sweet, kind, and helpful. We had a wonderful time! The atmosphere was family-friendly, quiet, and perfect for rest and relaxation. The only flaw was the breakfast and the service, but this doesn't apply to all the staff. 😉 Thank you for everything and for making our vacation enjoyable. See you soon!
