02/11/2025: We were actually looking for a simple restaurant and ended up here. We don't usually feel comfortable in more upscale restaurants, but the service was very friendly and some of the staff even spoke English. Even though we only ordered simple dishes and didn't order any wine, the staff was very attentive and friendly. My fish was absolutely delicious. In short: If you're looking for something simple and just want pasta without fish or seafood, or even just pizza, you should go somewhere else. They don't even have pizza. If you want delicious fish, you should come here.

29/10/2025: First of all, you can practically eat with your feet in the water. It's inexpensive, the location, and the view are exceptional. The staff are very attentive, knowledgeable, and polite. The food is truly delicious, well-cooked, and refined. The price is definitely excellent considering the quality.

18/10/2025: My wife and I spent a wonderful weekend in a wonderful, peaceful location, just a short distance from Tropea. The staff were very professional, extremely kind, and helpful. The food was excellent, plentiful, and above all, of high quality. They also offer gluten-free options for celiacs. An experience we'll definitely repeat. We also recommend it to families with children because it has an outdoor play area and a swimming pool.

25/09/2025: Fantastic restaurant, excellently cooked and absolutely fresh fish. The staff is exquisite; it's my favorite restaurant every year when I go to the beach. The owner is exceptional both as a person and as a musician; he resembles Gino Paoli, and together with his partner, a Pino lookalike, Daniele, they entertain us with divine music. You eat overlooking the sea. Highly recommended.

30/10/2025: We tried some excellent pasta dishes, especially the langoustine and truffle pasta. The portions were a bit small. The service was good, and there was a decent wine list. It's a bit pricey for the area; the restaurant doesn't exactly have sea views. If you look at the price photos from a few months ago, some dishes have gone up by 20%.

18/08/2025: Beautiful location... you can practically dine right by the sea. The peppered mussels were excellent and plentiful, and the grilled tuna was delicious; it melted in your mouth. It's not cheap, but the price is fair for the quality. Highly recommended.

21/10/2025: I returned to my hometown, Crotone, for a weekend getaway, longing to enjoy good seafood in an authentic setting. After reading several reviews, I chose Piper, and I must say it was a perfect choice. As soon as we entered, Enzo, the host, welcomed us with that typical Crotone warmth that makes you feel instantly at home. The pasta is strictly handmade, and the menu varies depending on the day: a true guarantee of freshness. That day, they offered covatelli, a typical Crotone pasta, masterfully prepared with seafood sauce. A dish worth the visit alone. We started with a mixed seafood appetizer, rich in goodness and authentic flavors. I even tried anchovies, which I don't usually eat, but I really appreciated them there. Of course, we couldn't miss the "vrasciole" Crotonese, classic fried meatballs: both eggplant and meat, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. All washed down with an excellent rosé from the Cirò Marina area, a house wine of great quality. We enjoyed it so much that we returned in the evening: my son (15 months) immediately had access to the high chair and felt completely at ease. He again asked for the covatelli, this time with a simple sauce, while my wife and I chose two very fresh sea bass, cooked to perfection: soft, delicate, without excessive salt, a sign of careful and respectful preparation of the fish. For appetizers, this time, we opted for local cheeses and cured meats, which were also excellent. The prices are fair and proportionate to the quality of the products and the generous portions: not too high or too low, just right. Unfortunately, I return to Crotone less and less often, but of one thing I am certain: Piper will be my regular stop every time I return. 21/11/2025: A nice place without too many frills, the decor a bit spartan. The wait staff is friendly and cheerful. The food is EXCELLENT and QUALITY, with a wide selection and truly delicious ingredients. The only complaint about the APPETIZERS is that they're very LARGE and varied, but they're served quickly, and at large tables it's hard to keep up with them. The first courses are GOOD.
