20/12/2025: If you're looking for the true essence of the sea, you've come to the right place: the fish is incredibly fresh, treated with a rare respect. We tried incredibly light, crispy, and dry fried fish, which simultaneously protected and enhanced the authentic flavor of the catch. But the real added value was the chef's ability to showcase the excellence of the Calabrian region. I found the use of fruit sublime: that touch of freshly grated citrus on the dishes created an aromatic contrast that masterfully enhanced the flavor of the sea. ​An honorable mention goes to the extraordinary helpfulness of the staff and the kitchen. Despite my unusual and personalized requests, I was greeted with a smile and impeccable precision. It's rare to find a place that combines high-end cuisine with such flexibility and attentiveness to the customer's needs. ​A heartfelt thank you for making us feel like special guests and for honoring the flavors of Calabria with such mastery. We'll definitely be back!

14/12/2025: Our daughter Giorgia chose this restaurant on TripAdvisor to spend a beautiful Immaculate Conception day with her grandparents at this fantastic restaurant. Many thanks to the owner, who welcomed us with a smile, elegance, and such kindness. It was a relaxing day featuring an excellent lunch, aperitif, sorbet, and exquisite liqueur offered by the super owner and the lovely lady who also welcomed us with a smile. The background music provided by the talented violinist during lunch was refined and much appreciated, and to continue the show outside the restaurant, a talented singer and guitarist performed, while we sat on the sofas with a fantastic sea view. Heartfelt compliments to the owner and all the staff; it shows that they don't just do it for work, but for true passion.

27/11/2025: We arrived without a reservation and the place was completely packed, but the owner went out of his way to find us a table. While we waited, he even offered us a glass of bubbly, a very kind gesture that we greatly appreciated. The lunch was excellent: delicious dishes and fast, attentive service, always with a smile. While we waited for a spectacular sunset over the sea, they treated us to a complimentary dessert and liqueur. Top quality in a splendid location overlooking the sea. Highly recommended!!

02/11/2025: Beautiful and charming location in the heart of Tropea. But I really can't say enough about the deliciousness of the food I tasted. I didn't go for typical products, but for classic seafood and meat dishes. I don't recommend the seafood appetizers; they're really nothing special. The ravioli with shrimp and scallops were good. Otherwise, everything was normal, with excessive prices. The wait for the food was exaggerated, despite the good service and numerous staff. Worth a look.

30/10/2025: Found on a recommendation. The charming atmosphere begins right at the entrance, where you stand on a glass platform overlooking the old wine cellar. The tables are well spaced. Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and conversation. Luckily, we reserved a table. Very attentive service. Delicious bread served in a paper bag. The €2 cover charge is reasonable. Good selection of typical Italian dishes. We enjoyed the food, and the meat was exceptionally tender.

07/10/2025: I went with my wife and son in September for dinner in the ancient cave. The seafood appetizer smelled bad and tasted nothing like seafood. The octopus was transparent and smelled bad—you couldn't tell it was octopus carpaccio; it was literally transparent, like tissue paper. The rest was anything but anything that reminded you of the sea. Everything was frozen and poorly treated. Parmigiana was the sore point!! It wasn't parmigiana, but a mixture of boiled eggs drowned in tomato sauce. I don't think they even know what eggplant parmigiana is; there were only boiled eggs. I wouldn't go back even if they paid me; it was a TERRIBLE experience that's hard to undo. They have no idea what Italian or Calabrian cuisine is. What a shame! These people were improvised and had never worked in a kitchen!

20/01/2026: I went alone on Saturday and paid 70 euros. The food was good, except for the mussels, which were of two different types, skillfully mixed. I even told the owners this. But I don't recommend it.
