07/12/2025: I'm back again this evening to enjoy the delicacies of this authentic restaurant. The appetizer, the trio of tacos, was excellent! The lobster linguine was divine! The stuffed cuttlefish were delicious! All accompanied by an excellent wine and the staff were always friendly and efficient! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

02/11/2025: We were actually looking for a simple restaurant and ended up here. We don't usually feel comfortable in more upscale restaurants, but the service was very friendly and some of the staff even spoke English. Even though we only ordered simple dishes and didn't order any wine, the staff was very attentive and friendly. My fish was absolutely delicious. In short: If you're looking for something simple and just want pasta without fish or seafood, or even just pizza, you should go somewhere else. They don't even have pizza. If you want delicious fish, you should come here.

19/10/2025: “Incipit” is almost a hidden gem, tucked away from the busy High Street and tourist-heavy areas. This spot comes highly recommended by locals — and for good reason. It has a gorgeous outdoor terrace with views over the piazza, but the real wow factor comes when you choose to dine indoors… in the cave! Yes, a beautifully lit, cosy cave with an incredible atmosphere that makes the whole experience feel special. The service was exceptional — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The menu is fantastic, offering a perfect mix of local favourites and creative twists. We went all out and enjoyed the full experience: antipasto, primo, and secondo. The tuna tartare was outstanding, bursting with freshness and flavour. I had the Fileja al ’Nduja ragu, which was absolutely mind-blowing — and high on my Calabria culinary wish list. My partner chose the hazelnut risotto, which was equally exceptional. For mains, I had the pistachio-crusted seabass while my partner had the cod — both dishes beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended if you want an authentic, high-quality dining experience away from the tourist traps. Grazie mille per il fantastico servizio 🙏👌👏

27/10/2025: The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, making sure we felt comfortable. The apartment was comfortable with a kitchenette and outdoor space. There was ample parking, a good restaurant, and everything you need to relax in a pleasant atmosphere. There was also a swimming pool and beautifully landscaped grounds.

28/11/2025: I visited Fish and Wine and was truly impressed! The restaurant combines a welcoming atmosphere with attentive and friendly service. The fish dishes are incredibly fresh, carefully crafted, and beautifully paired with the wines on offer. Each course is a small taste experience, from the entrée to the dessert. The quality of the ingredients and the chef's ability to showcase them with modern yet never overdone recipes are particularly noteworthy. 04/12/2025: We were a little hesitant at first because the restaurant was completely empty, and we initially thought it wasn't open. However, we went in anyway, and the owner, who also serves as waiter and cook, gave us a warm welcome. It's a small, family-run restaurant. The food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. The salad was very simple and uninspired, but fresh and tasty nonetheless. The presentation could be a bit more appealing, but that's not really as important as the taste. In any case, we felt very welcome and comfortable there. We would definitely come back.

02/11/2025: Beautiful and charming location in the heart of Tropea. But I really can't say enough about the deliciousness of the food I tasted. I didn't go for typical products, but for classic seafood and meat dishes. I don't recommend the seafood appetizers; they're really nothing special. The ravioli with shrimp and scallops were good. Otherwise, everything was normal, with excessive prices. The wait for the food was exaggerated, despite the good service and numerous staff. Worth a look.

30/10/2025: Found on a recommendation. The charming atmosphere begins right at the entrance, where you stand on a glass platform overlooking the old wine cellar. The tables are well spaced. Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and conversation. Luckily, we reserved a table. Very attentive service. Delicious bread served in a paper bag. The €2 cover charge is reasonable. Good selection of typical Italian dishes. We enjoyed the food, and the meat was exceptionally tender.

29/09/2025: We opted for a fish menu. The menu and the staff were perfect, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was also perfect. If you're staying in Moreno Calabro, you should definitely stop by for a meal!

25/09/2025: Fantastic restaurant, excellently cooked and absolutely fresh fish. The staff is exquisite; it's my favorite restaurant every year when I go to the beach. The owner is exceptional both as a person and as a musician; he resembles Gino Paoli, and together with his partner, a Pino lookalike, Daniele, they entertain us with divine music. You eat overlooking the sea. Highly recommended.

09/12/2025: A wonderful place with friendly and cheerful hosts. I regret that we only had dinner there on our last evening in Reggio. I swear I'm ready to fly there, even for one day, just for the delicious food! Delicious swordfish, fresh oysters, tasty mussels in wine sauce, and wonderful and original seafood pastas.
