17/02/2024: Io e mio marito abbiamo deciso di prenotare il menù d’asporto pubblicizzato sui social da questo ristorante e devo dire che è stata un’ottima scelta: antipasto vario e abbondante, lasagnette di pesce gustose, secondo di pesce in crosta di melanzane con contorno di verdure e patate, panna cotta ai frutti rossi delicata e veramente buona, bollicine in omaggio e un prezzo assolutamente ottimo. Vivamente consigliato

23/12/2023: Locale intimo e accogliente. Per quanto riguarda la scelta dei piatti il proprietario è stato gentilissimo nel consigliare e presentare le portate, tutto buono e pesce di qualità. Non vedo l'ora di tornare per assaggiare tutti i piatti.

10/08/2024: Location in a strategic area near the airport. Stopped for lunch, I had octopus salad (good) and spaghetti with anchovies (failed). The guys who serve are very kind and the place is very welcoming and well-kept. Good value for money all in all. The real problem is the timing, half an hour for the pasta, so much so that I thought they had forgotten to order. The somewhat resentful restaurateur told me that they prepare everything at the moment and therefore these are the technical times. Maybe, but my pasta was also overcooked and the sauce too watery... If you don't have time problems go there, still worth a try.

09/08/2024: Great family owned restaurant and the end of Corso Masini that has an outstanding view of Catanzaro. A must walk and then eat at Porto Marina. Twin brothers and their parents have always operated this restaurant and they provided an amazing, friendly and fun environment. Food was great and plentiful.

09/08/2024: We tried calling several times to book but got no response. Despite this, once we got there we found a place. We sat down and waited about 20 minutes for the gentleman to come and take our order. Once the water was brought I asked for some ice and was told that the water was cold anyway, I reiterated if they could kindly bring me some ice and after a quarter of an hour it finally arrived. It took them more than an hour to make two pasta dishes (fresh pasta which cooks faster than dry pasta). Pasta that I didn't finish because honestly I was no longer hungry. I would like to say something in favor of the blonde waitress who served us because she was very kind, polite and I would add also very patient, even too much, given the organisation.

05/08/2024: They advertise seriousness! Millantano!!! This morning I called to book for 12 people. The person I spoke to, describing themselves as "serious and professional", told me that for 10pm there was no need for a reservation, reiterating that with the utmost seriousness they would guarantee us a seat. Obvious result: 12 of us arrived at 9.45pm and they also told us with a certain arrogance that there was no such thing as being able to sit down! Buffoons!

29/06/2024: The food and service are truly satisfying. However, my bill was not itemized. They couldn't explain the details of the total price to me... €80 for 2 starters, 1 first course and 1 bottle of water. Dearest!

21/08/2024: We ate in this really nice and romantic place. The staff were very kind and courteous. We took a parmigiana and caramelized onions. Very very good, just a little salt was missing in the parmigiana. Then we had the very good filey with seafood, well cooked and with good quality products, here too a pinch of extra salt wouldn't have hurt. Finally, a smoked risotto which was a nice little surprise: a risotto with a cream of local pecorino cheese and perfectly crisped bacon (it exploded in the mouth, pulverising on the palate), a truly well-constructed dish. We left happy and satisfied.

18/08/2024: We had dinner last night in this enchanting place that smells of tradition, but at the same time knows how to keep up with the times. On a Saturday evening in August, full of tourists, we had to wait a bit but it was worth it. Cave appetizer x 2 (really delicious sweet and sour red onions) Eggplant parmigiana and Primo di Grotta, cooked really well, flavors that are enhanced together with the typical Calabrian fresh pasta. Impeccable service, very good. Honest account. We really had a great time, super recommended for anyone on holiday in Tropea.

07/08/2024: I had the pleasure of discovering the little BBB in Pizzo, "Un Paradiso". This place is a true hidden gem that perfectly embodies true Mediterranean style. From the first moment, you are surrounded by an enchanting atmosphere that invites relaxation and well-being. The beach is simply fantastic, equipped with gazebos with comfortable mattresses that offer perfect shelter for spending long sunny days. The patio, with a breathtaking view of the Aeolian Islands, is the ideal place to have lunch, dinner or enjoy an aperitif. The cocktails are prepared with unparalleled skill, using local spirits that tell the story and flavors of the area. This venue, the BBB, is a true oasis of niche and relaxation, where every detail is taken care of with extreme attention. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to satisfy every need with a smile. In summary, "A Paradise" it is the best as a beach club and place for aperitifs in Pizzo. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to live an authentic and unforgettable experience in a corner of Mediterranean paradise.

04/08/2024: Truly top! My boyfriend and I came to this place on the advice of a friend, it was the first time for us... Let's start from the assumption that it is a beautiful location, super well-kept and very modern. We took the umbrella and the two sunbeds to the beach and also decided to have lunch at the restaurant. The lido is super equipped, there is also a covered shower that runs on coins (free for lido customers), a fountain just to remove the sand from your legs before climbing in, a table under the umbrella and a coat hanger. The sea was spectacular, flat and crystal clear. (In this area it is always flat because of the T's in the sea). When we went up to the restaurant we found super friendly and helpful staff who satisfied our requests and made us feel at home. Delicious and super tasty dishes. The prices match the quality of what we ate. The fish was fresh, the frying super light and the clams large and tasty. We will be back with pleasure, recommended!

23/08/2024: It is no longer the historic Mary ice cream maker but the ice cream is still good, one of the best I've tried. Unfortunately there is less turnout than before. Among the best flavors are white rice and black rice.

18/08/2024: Esperienza negativa! Abbiamo ordinato 6 pizze e un piatto di pennette per mia figlia. Le pizze sono arrivate in pochi minuti... Le pennette al pomodoro mai arrivate! Ho chiesto 4 volte al personale di sala e ogni volta la risposta era " sono in cottura" dopo 1ora d'attesa e la risposta alterata da parte del ragazzo che si era occupato della comanda siamo andati via. Voglio precisare che quando il ragazzo ha preso la comanda il piatto di pennette è stata la nostra prima richiesta proprio perché la bimba aveva fame. Purtroppo digiuna è entrata e digiuna è uscita!

28/07/2024: Ristorante di qualità ho avuto una bella esperienza pietanze deliziose e di alta qualità un benvenuto da leccarsi i baffi primi e secondi ottimi , un lato negativo è stato il servizio fatto dal ragazzo , che ci ha tolto i piatti mentre ancora stavamo mangiando al contrario la ragazza molto educata e paziente ,professionale anche se molto giovane . Una esperienza ottima nel complesso

03/08/2024: Ristorante di nuova gestione. Preparati ed appassionati. Scelta attenta di cantina con tocchi di eleganza e competenza percepibile. Un menù pesce vario e ricette ben pensate e meglio eseguite, a valorizzare materie prime di indubbia qualità. E per chi non gradisce il pesce, grande varietà di pizze o alternative Vegetali e carne. Apprezzabile la creatività nell'elaborare fuori menu che si adattano ad esigenze e preferenze cliente. Questo merita una menzione perché permette di tenere il menù contenuto massimizzando la capacità di accoglienza e soddisfazione del cliente. Sicuramente ci.... TONNO....
