I asked them to lower the speaker above me slightly, and they were kind enough to do so immediately, with a smile. We ate divinely, and, something rare, we left feeling pampered and nourished not only in our stomachs but also in our souls. And all this at a price you won't find elsewhere, even for much less refined dinners. A place that stays in your heart, worth trying again and again. ✨

14/10/2025: I visited this restaurant, the location is great, the staff is helpful and friendly. The food is a bit salty for me, I didn't get the taste I expect in a restaurant, and the price is a bit too high for the taste.

From the rich and flavorful appetizers to the first courses that exude the aromas of the sea and Calabria, to the impeccable second courses and the desserts that delicately round out the meal, everything is prepared with a care that captivates. 03/09/2025: Stunning location, good food, and a friendly and kind owner. Four of us went for dinner, and even though it was dark, the view was beautiful because the moonlight illuminated the sea and you could see Sicily lit up. We walked down the stairs to the sea. Truly stunning! And it will definitely be the best for ceremonies.

30/08/2025: Lido la costa degli dei is a beach where people go to have fun with their children and relax enjoying their holidays. Go there but I recommend you bring sea shoes with you, the sea is beautiful.

29/10/2025: I don't often write restaurant reviews, but we had the best meal of our holiday here – almost fine dining, and at very reasonable prices. The historic building is truly a gem among Scilla's already beautiful architecture, and dining on the airy terrace overlooking the sea is particularly lovely. But what really made the evening special was the incredibly warm and welcoming sommelier, who guided us through the evening with charm and humor and clearly knows his stuff – even if you only order a single wine by the glass! Thank you for a wonderful last evening in Calabria. We'll be back!

24/10/2025: On our walk through the beautiful Chianalea neighborhood, we discovered this restaurant. It can be a bit annoying to climb a long staircase to reach the wonderful terrace overlooking the sea, but the effort is worth it because the views from there are magnificent. The entire restaurant is tastefully decorated. This carefully curated setting helped us achieve a very high level of gastronomic pleasure. We found the swordfish steaks to be very well seasoned and full of flavor. The tomato and burrata salad was a perfect accompaniment. The tomatoes tasted real, which is hard to find. Pizzo's truffle was perfectly cooked: we thought it was delicious. We paired the meal with a very smooth Greco Calabrian white wine. Both the maitre d' and the rest of the staff were impeccable in their work.

The kitchen offers well-prepared traditional dishes, using quality ingredients and generous portions. The pizzeria offers light dough and precise cooking, with rich and flavorful toppings. The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, and the service is professional and always available. Prices are in line with the attention to detail. An excellent choice for fine dining in a refined yet family-friendly setting.

22/08/2025: On our way back from Paola, we decided to try this restaurant in the ancient village of Belmonte. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We took the chef up on a suggestion, and he prepared an excellent pacchero with amberjack. The price was perhaps a little steep...but you pay for quality food.

18/08/2025: I dined at Taverna Intru u Vicu with a group of friends. Let me start by saying that the location is stunning: both the terrace and the alleyway will surely provide guests with an unforgettable experience. The service was kind and friendly, without being intrusive, and the owner and waiter made us feel at home. The house wine, served during dinner, was also excellent. As for the menu, the owner's innovation was much appreciated. No dish was banal, and the flavors were well-balanced. The tuna on tomato steak and the pickled tuna (€16-18) are definitely worth trying as appetizers. I personally ordered the mixed fried fish (€22), which was good, fresh, and crispy, but perhaps a bit small for a main course. In conclusion, absolutely recommended for those looking for an unconventional dinner in an excellent location. For eight of us, with four appetizers, eight courses, wine, drinks, and two shared desserts, we spent about €50 each.

31/12/2025: Absolutely outstanding food. The chef is 74 years and has made a lot of these dishes, some of them like the 195x baylik pasta his dad made. I asked for recommendations on which dish had more spices or were spicier and the also offered to add in calabrese chili peppers to the dish. Which had excellent flavor. The other pasta dish without extra chilies was also flavorful and delicious. There’s an all English menu if you need it. The potato dish and prawn dish had an excellent crisp and the steamed swordfish was tender with a decent flavor. Great menu selection for dishes. And they can make everything gluten free as well. Their menu states they’re able to accommodate allergies too. Just come with a translator app if you need it

30/08/2025: Small, poorly maintained space, cheap, convenience-world furnishings, banal table settings. The ingredients, though high-quality, aren't prepared properly for the asking price. The tuna tataki, obviously with supermarket-quality mayonnaise and teriyaki sauce, personally, seems unworthy for tuna.
