Professional and impeccable service
But above all, the food is of the highest quality. I had the scabbard rolls... indescribable deliciousness. Highly recommended. And the prices are truly fair. But price aside, the service and quality are definitely worth it.

The restaurant's atmosphere is very refined and charming; the service is very attentive, and the staff is helpful.
The restaurant's real highlight is the food: an incredible and varied seafood appetizer. This is followed by a well-chosen and carefully selected selection of main courses.

07/07/2026: A small, welcoming, and no-frills place. The lady (I believe the owner) is incredibly kind, with a warm smile and few but appropriate words.
Excellent food, just a few dishes, but cooked to perfection. On the recommendation, I opted for the swordfish, which was incredibly fresh and expertly prepared, a plate of scialatelli with swordfish sauce, and a traditional appetizer. Since I don't eat spicy food, I asked for the culatello (part of the appetizer) without the nduja to appreciate its authentic flavor, and the lady promptly obliged.
Excellent experience, recommended.

26/07/2026: The restaurant is at the end of restaurant raw. Sea terrace with tables with white cover. Staff is kind and professional. The place is not busy and crowded. Half lobster with pasta is 25. euros. In the entire area is very difficult to find parking spot. Above the restaurant there is private parking.
24/07/2026: The view here is stunning — genuinely one of the best in the area. Unfortunately, the service really let it down. Our server was noticeably curt and unwelcoming throughout the meal, which set an uncomfortable tone from the start. On top of that, my dish wasn’t available, so she suggested a pricier alternative without mentioning it cost double, and we were told (incorrectly) that they don’t accept Amex, even though the machine was right there. A gorgeous setting, but the service made it hard to enjoy.

13/05/2026: Stunning location, with a breathtaking view of Scilla at dusk. Friendly and fast service. Excellent food, very fresh fish, I especially enjoyed the swordfish. Good wine. Reasonable price.
08/05/2026: The place is wonderful, nothing to say, the thing that disappointed me most was what they brought: for 2 of us, we asked for 2 fish appetizers and a first course, paccheri with swordfish, as appetizers they brought us practically nothing, it was a taste of 6 courses, of all of them, there was nothing raw... Of course the quality was there, but we were left starving and we spent €65 for nothing... In fact, afterward we went to eat a sandwich... Total disappointment

14/06/2026: I'd like to point out that I booked the day before. After a 26-minute wait and talking to at least six different waiters, we decided to leave because we couldn't find a table. It was very confusing. Overall, the restaurant is very nice, but I can't rate the food since they didn't give me the chance.

27/06/2026: Absolutely amazing food! Me and my family loved it all and devoured it 😋 (the fishes next to us are probably scared, thinking that they will get eaten next)
16/06/2026: We had a lovely dinner here. The octopus salad and tuna carpaccio were very tasty, although a few pieces were slightly frozen.
Sea urchins were not available, but alternatives were suggested.
The swordfish was delicious, but the plate felt a bit empty and could use more vegetables instead of just thin carrot slices.

03/05/2026: I think this restaurant has immense potential. For many reasons. It has a fantastic view and a brilliant chef. The fish was incredibly fresh and beautifully cooked. I particularly enjoyed the first courses and the mixed fried fish. The appetizer and house wine, in my opinion, need to be revisited. I was pleased to note that the bread was excellent and fresh, even though it was Sunday, which is quite a feat. The place doesn't quite live up to my aesthetic tastes, and I think it deserves a general overhaul and a different look. My compliments, however, are the courtesy and the value for money. See you next time.

09/09/2025: Delicious local food, a family-run atmosphere with very friendly staff ready to accommodate every need. Compared to all the exorbitant prices you hear about at Lido Gelsomino, the prices are more than affordable. It will be my vacation spot again next year.
