I've known this place for decades and it's always a pleasure to return! Friendly and attentive staff, a lovely location, and delicious food! I recommend it to anyone looking for lunch and/or dinner near the sea!

What can I say...I feel at home at Calypso. It's a restaurant run by the wonderful Daniela and the great Stefano, who are very attentive to their customers' satisfaction. All the staff are extremely kind and attentive. The cuisine is sublime. Every time I go, they always manage to amaze me. The fish is incredibly fresh and the quality is top notch. I highly recommend stopping at Calypso for a wonderful culinary experience with a stunning view of the Belvedere Marittimo waterfront.

Spectacular dinner!! The fish was incredibly fresh, cooked to perfection: you could really taste the hand of a chef who knows what he's doing. Each dish was carefully crafted, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients. The service was attentive, fast, and always with a smile, which is no longer a given. We felt welcomed right at home. A special shout-out also goes to Stefano, a very kind and helpful person, who manages to create a truly pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant. If you're in Belvedere Marittimo and want to eat fish prepared properly, this place is a guarantee. We'll definitely be back!

Excellent food, attentive and meticulous service. Daniela and Stefano welcome you as soon as you enter with warmth and professionalism. I immediately offer you water, and once you're seated, Daniela impeccably presents the menu with various options. It's our dream destination, starting with the Gelateria since I was little and continuing with this fantastic restaurant, where I can't help but go on every vacation to Belvedere because, even in summer, the staff is always professional and the food excellent. Congratulations. Well done!

Family-run seafood restaurant. The very welcoming owner will tell you what's available today and arrange a tasting in a flash. The hot and cold appetizers are highly recommended. The wine cellar is excellent...not just local wines. Congratulations...always top-notch.

We've known this restaurant for years and it's always a pleasure to return. Daniela, the owner, is an expert in fish and cuisine and manages to excite everyone with her choice of dishes, and the cuisine satisfies and pleases the customer every time.

A Taverna intru u vicu Restaurant

22/08/2025: On our way back from Paola, we decided to try this restaurant in the ancient village of Belmonte. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We took the chef up on a suggestion, and he prepared an excellent pacchero with amberjack. The price was perhaps a little steep...but you pay for quality food.
18/08/2025: I dined at Taverna Intru u Vicu with a group of friends. Let me start by saying that the location is stunning: both the terrace and the alleyway will surely provide guests with an unforgettable experience. The service was kind and friendly, without being intrusive, and the owner and waiter made us feel at home. The house wine, served during dinner, was also excellent. As for the menu, the owner's innovation was much appreciated. No dish was banal, and the flavors were well-balanced. The tuna on tomato steak and the pickled tuna (€16-18) are definitely worth trying as appetizers. I personally ordered the mixed fried fish (€22), which was good, fresh, and crispy, but perhaps a bit small for a main course. In conclusion, absolutely recommended for those looking for an unconventional dinner in an excellent location. For eight of us, with four appetizers, eight courses, wine, drinks, and two shared desserts, we spent about €50 each.
