Ristorante Calypso In Belvedere marittimo

Top location, now a guarantee of good food!! Highly recommended!

My wife and I were occasionally passing through Belvedere, where we were staying overnight, and the B&B host recommended this restaurant. It was 10:30 PM on a midweek evening in April, so not a very busy time. Nevertheless, we received attentive and attentive service from kind people who were concerned about making us feel comfortable. The food was very good, honest, fresh, without gimmicks or deception. The seafood salad was very fresh, without vinegar (which usually serves to cover up imperfections), with an unmistakable seafood flavor, excellent. The tuna steak was very well cooked, all washed down with an excellent wine at a very reasonable price. Calypso is one of those rare places where you find meaning among the people who work there, the pride and self-esteem in wanting to offer something good. We returned the next day, bringing friends with us and also trying the first courses... everything was very good! Well done!!

I've known this place for decades and it's always a pleasure to return! Friendly and attentive staff, a lovely location, and delicious food! I recommend it to anyone looking for lunch and/or dinner near the sea!

What can I say...I feel at home at Calypso. It's a restaurant run by the wonderful Daniela and the great Stefano, who are very attentive to their customers' satisfaction. All the staff are extremely kind and attentive. The cuisine is sublime. Every time I go, they always manage to amaze me. The fish is incredibly fresh and the quality is top notch. I highly recommend stopping at Calypso for a wonderful culinary experience with a stunning view of the Belvedere Marittimo waterfront.

Spectacular dinner!! The fish was incredibly fresh, cooked to perfection: you could really taste the hand of a chef who knows what he's doing. Each dish was carefully crafted, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients. The service was attentive, fast, and always with a smile, which is no longer a given. We felt welcomed right at home. A special shout-out also goes to Stefano, a very kind and helpful person, who manages to create a truly pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant. If you're in Belvedere Marittimo and want to eat fish prepared properly, this place is a guarantee. We'll definitely be back!

I immediately offer you water, and once you're seated, Daniela impeccably presents the menu with various options. It's our dream destination, starting with the Gelateria since I was little and continuing with this fantastic restaurant, where I can't help but go on every vacation to Belvedere because, even in summer, the staff is always professional and the food excellent.
