27/07/2025: We sat inside the restaurant, where the decor was traditional and very cozy. We ordered pizza. It's a traditional Neapolitan pizza with a thick crust, which can be made in many different variations upon request. We really enjoyed the pizza! We would recommend the restaurant to anyone who enjoys stone-baked pizza.

26/07/2025: We had a really good meal at Lo Scalo! Everything was consistently delicious. The Pasta Frutti di Mare is especially recommended – perfectly balanced, with plenty of seafood, and simply amazing flavor. You can easily enjoy three courses here because the quality is consistently impressive, from appetizer to dessert. One of the better restaurants on the promenade – a little more expensive, but absolutely worth the price. Great food, friendly service, and a lovely atmosphere – we'll definitely be back!

El propietario reconoció de inmediato cuando nos vio en nuestra noche de 1 calle de vuelta en Taormina después de una brecha de 3 años. nos recibió como amigos perdidos hace mucho tiempo y era muy hablador y nos dio la bienvenida allí. Magdalana nos reconoció también y tuvimos una buena charla mientras placiong nuestra orden con ella. Ambiente muy relajado allí y todo el personal allí es cálido y tranquilo. La comida es buena y los precios muy razonables también, nuestros amigos que estaban con nosotros también quedaron impresionados con la comida y los precios. tampoco te apuran así que te sientas, comes, bebes y te relajas sin que te apuren.

Simple but quality dishes—fish or meat is no problem—everything was prepared and presented with quality. The wines are also of a decent quality. Recommended. It has reserved parking and is easily accessible. From the Cuma exit of the Naples ring road, pass through Arco Felice and, guided by the directions and Google Maps, you'll find yourself easily.

18/07/2025: 50th anniversary, 40 people, scorching heat mitigated by air conditioning and fans, quick and friendly table service, excellent and plentiful food, all very fresh fish, and a cake to finish. Friendly and attentive staff, coordinated by Franco, always present. Highly recommended.

30/05/2025: Probably worst food experience ever! Don’t go there unless they change the chef !!! No love, passion and flavor in any of the 3 dishes I got. Completely flat by flavor and taste, texture or harmony of food. Not what you expect when you are eating Italian food ! I’m Not even sure à chef have been cooking that ! Didn’t think eating something that tasteless would be even possible. Besides the waitress was great and very nice and attentive to details.

04/04/2025: Update 2025: Restaurant closed for some time. Premises for sale. ---- A piece of Sardinia in Rome Tuscolana. The Ravioli stuffed with grouper or sea bass seasoned with bottarga and courgettes are phenomenal... The soup with Sardinian fregola and seafood is another excellent alternative. Owners always kind and helpful. Leave some space at the end of dinner for a sebadas :)

17/06/2025: Passing by without a reservation. No waiting, well-made dishes, attentive and courteous service, tablecloths, not common in trattorias. Few dishes but well-made and carefully presented. Parking on the street but with difficulty. Accessible for the disabled. Clean or tidy bathrooms. Worth the stop!

25/03/2025: Locale informale. Pizza buona anche senza glutine MA e da non sottovalutare il MA. Personale non troppo cortese e disponibile. In quanto accettano di far mangiare le persone alle ore 23:10 ma alle 23:45 ti tolgono il tavolo mentre mangi “fingendo” probabile è vero che a mezzanotte devono chiudere. Mi chiedo allora perché accettare persone in questi orari ? Ps: durante la cena sarete deliziati da il passaggio di piattole sotto i vostri piedi
