The coffee and croissant were very tasty. The cafe staff were very nice. After breakfast at this cafe, I only ate here for the rest of the mornings.

I'm a frequent visitor to Le Plaisir and have always found the service to be excellent, both for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast is one of the restaurant's strong points, with a good selection of both sweet and savory options: fresh products, carefully prepared, and the perfect way to start the day. Le Plaisir Café—calling it a bar is a definite understatement. I stumbled upon it purely by chance, for professional reasons, for a snack, and immediately realized it had nothing to envy of a renowned restaurant. Unfortunately, the hunger and the deliciousness of the dishes prevented me from photographing all the dishes, all of which are worthy of mention. A cacio e pepe, a tagliata, and a truly spectacular reinterpretation of pastiera. I apologize if only at the end, the staff were extremely helpful, and the owner was always ready to accommodate even the most demanding customers' requests...

26/04/2026: Lunch with a friend, sea view, tagliolini with 1/2 lobster, marinated tuna, spaghetti with clams, the only flaw was the slightly salty tomato.
12/04/2026: L'Ancora's new location in Capitolo enjoys a truly privileged location: the sea view is simply breathtaking and creates a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for lunch or dinner with the sound of the waves in the background. We started with a few seafood appetizers, all very good and beautifully presented. The octopus alla luciana, in particular, was a bit less delicious; I would have added a little more salt to better enhance the flavors. The first course was truly enjoyable and flavorful; the only small complaint concerns the pasta, which I would have preferred a little more al dente. The fried food was also very good, light and well-executed. The value for money is in line with the location and the quality of the ingredients. The service was overall good and attentive, although I would point out one small oversight: they didn't bring a dish for the clam shells, a simple but useful detail for greater convenience at the table. Overall, the experience was positive: spectacular location, quality cuisine, and friendly staff. A place definitely worth a visit, especially for those who love eating fish with a splendid sea view.

12/06/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ On a beautiful sunny morning in Altamura, we stopped at this historic bakery for brunch, and the experience was truly excellent. We had the opportunity to sample several traditional local specialties: from fragrant friselle drizzled with excellent olive oil, to authentic Altamura bread, to pizza and focaccia from Bari, all prepared with quality ingredients and with that authenticity that is evident from the first bite. The variety of products is remarkable, and every bite confirms the care and experience of those who work at this bakery every day. Another particularly appreciated aspect is the quality-price ratio, which is decidedly reasonable considering the excellence of the offerings. The staff was courteous, helpful, and quick in their service, helping to make our visit even more enjoyable. The option of sitting at the outdoor tables and enjoying these specialties in complete relaxation was also very pleasant. A stop absolutely worth a visit for anyone wishing to discover the authentic flavors of Altamura and Puglia's culinary traditions. Highly recommended.
12/06/2026: The octopus sandwich was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's a great place for a lunch break, as there's a place to sit and a clean bathroom.
