08/04/2025: Il titolo osteria non gli fa giustizia, il ristorante presenta piatti tipici della tradizione rivisitati, piatti di pesce e carne e ottime selezioni di vini. Tutto gustoso ma in particolare consiglio gli gnocchi al casera. Personale molto preparato e cordiale. Il pranzo con vista Tirano e montagne vicine dalla terrazza è impagabile.

29/03/2025: Ottimo ristorante, cibo di qualità tipicamente valtellinese e personale gentile. Ambiente curato ed accogliente, location in posizione fantastica (un po’ fuori mano ma ne vale la pena!) Consigliatissimo !!!!

15/07/2025: After being in Sorrento for the last week I’ve tried several places and this one we passed by several times and decided to try it on our last night. Being let down on some of the highly rated places this was a very well welcomed surprised on the whole experience. You can taste the love and care in the food. We got the calamari, chef special of Seabass with vegetables, meat sauce with a home made paste, and the Diablo sauce pasta. All food was seasoned perfect and done perfectly. Do not pass on this hidden gem. My experience is 10 years in the Resturant industry in US and my wife’s experience is 25 years in high end Resturant’s around the world.

14/07/2025: Food was ok. Nothing exciting. Staff fall at your feet when you arrive but quickly their rudeness appears. Waiter treated a lovely gentle younger waiter like crap. Was so rude to him in front of the handful of customers. Safe to say we won't be going back. Endless array of gorgeous restaurants to eat in in sorrento that aren't just there to demand a tip at the end. Tried to sneak a tip to the lovely younger waiter but the rude guy was glaring at us from he sidelines throughout. Stunning building and has great potential, shame about the rudeness.

17/05/2025: A pochissimi passi dal lungo mare di Viareggio. Fin da subito ci siamo sentiti coccolati dal titolare con un entrée di benvenuto, che ci ha poi consigliato alcuni piatti in base al pescato del giorno. Dall’antipasto, poi al primo e infine al secondo tutto buonissimo! In modo particolare i tagliolini alla triglia, consigliati dal titolare, favolosi. Rapporto qualità prezzo più che ottimo!

04/07/2025: We decided to stop and eat something, my partner took pizza and I took spaghetti with clams and bottarga..my partner said the pizza was not bad, the spaghetti arrived and it looked like boiled pasta without a drizzle of oil, the pieces of tomato, I didn't even see the pan for cooking it. Without garlic and parsley I had to ask for oil and chili pepper to be able to eat...disappointment that the raw material was there but put in the wrong hands

17/05/2025: What a hidden gem! This is the ultimate quirky restaurant. The food is superb!! The homemade bread was amazing. We had melt in the mouth calamari, no breadcrumbs no batter!! Awesome!! My main course of Frito lake fish was amazing, no hint of oil, crisp and hot as was the verdure (vegetables). Excellent! My pannacotta had a perfect wobble. Beware the portions may be too much.

23/04/2025: Vuoi gustare del pesce fresco in un clima familiare sereno ,assaporando e gustando piatti unici che desideri conoscere per la prima volta .....il gestore si interessa a te si preoccupa se il cliente ha gradito dà spiegazioni per ogni menù con semplicità , professionalità e gentilezza e alla fine non manca mai di sorprendere con un dolce regalo....bravi continuate così!

08/07/2025: We ended up at Clipper almost by accident... and thank goodness! The baked fish was the bomb: tender, flavorful, and with that aroma that makes you hungry just looking at it. And eating while looking out at the sea was fantastic. A great place to relax, and the owner is incredibly kind. We'll definitely be back!

08/07/2025: The Clipper Restaurant was a fantastic discovery. Welcoming atmosphere, kind and attentive staff, and above all a cuisine that leaves its mark. We tasted very fresh fish dishes, cooked with great care: every bite was an explosion of authentic flavors. The homemade desserts were also excellent. All accompanied by a wide selection of local and non-local wines. Highly recommended for those looking for quality, courtesy and a memorable gastronomic experience!

15/07/2025: Had dinner at this historic restaurant. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food wasn't gourmet, but it was excellent. I'd say it was excellent home cooking. Prices were in line with seasonal norms.

06/07/2025: It was a place I pinned on Google. I definitely had to go and eat. But it failed in terms of taste. It was truly a big disappointment for us. We had fried calamari and shrimp and positana salad. The salad itself was disappointing. The shrimps were too small and the plate was not satisfactory. The octopus in the salad had no flavor at all. There was nothing good about it other than the ambiance, service and wine. We would also like to thank you for the meloncellos that came while paying the bill.

23/07/2025: We were two families and simply wanted to have a coffee on the terrace, which was completely empty. We were arrogantly and rudely turned away, with the excuse that "it's not allowed," even though the restaurant was open and almost empty at that hour. This behavior was unacceptable and disrespectful to the customers. I strongly advise against this place!
