17/07/2025: Ich war für 2 Monate von Mai bis Juli 2025 in Rom und habe in dieser Zeit im Stadtteil Portuense gewohnt. Das La Ruota ist für mich und meine Freundin schon so eine Art Stammlokal geworden, in welchem wir uns von Anfang an sehr gut aufgenommen und wohl gefühlt haben. Es gibt einen großen Innenbereich und einen - für römische Verhältnisse - gut gelegenen Außenbereich, der zum Gehweg abgegrenzt ist. Das Personal und der Inhaber sind sehr angenehme und zuvorkommende Menschen, das Essen ist gut, ebenso der Hauswein und die Preise sind absolut in Ordnung. Besucht wird das Lokal vor allem von Einheimischen aus der Umgegend, dabei auch viele Familien. Das bedingt natürlich auch, das nicht selten spielende Kinder drinnen oder im Außenbereich hin und her rennen, das ist hier so.

05/07/2025: The place is a bit out of fashion but what else can I say? The food is good, the service is by expert waiters who know how to do their job well. I have always eaten well and never had any problems, the Roman low pizza is delicious, the first and second courses are the same.

25/04/2025: Ci sono luoghi che ti restano impressi, non solo per la qualità di ciò che offrono, ma anche per la capacità di farti sentire speciale, come CRUDO dove eleganza e ospitalità si fondono in un equilibrio perfetto. Con il mio ragazzo eravamo alla ricerca di un posto autentico, lontano dalle trappole per turisti, dove poter assaporare qualcosa di unico. Abbiamo così scelto CRUDO, a cui assegniamo con convinzione cinque stelle (ma solo perché non se ne possono assegnare di più) che per noi equivalgono almeno ad una stella Michelin e che meritano ogni euro speso per vivere l’esperienza che vi descriviamo di seguito. Il concept ideato da Paolo, il proprietario, è chiaro e potente: offrire un’esperienza che sorprenda, senza mai tradire l’essenza della materia prima. È proprio questo quello che abbiamo vissuto scegliendo il menù degustazione da sette portate, firmato dalla chef Claudia. I suoi piatti esaltano i sapori degli ingredienti locali, ma con un tocco contemporaneo che rende unica ogni pietanza. Il pesce freschissimo è attentamente selezionato e plasmato in forme nuove che colpiscono prima gli occhi e poi il gusto. Nessun dettaglio è superfluo, ma pensato per valorizzare la materia prima e permetterle di esprimersi pienamente. Non riveleremo tutte e sette le portate, poiché il mistero è parte integrante dell’esperienza, ma quando abbiamo assaggiato il piatto con il tonno rosso reinterpretato da Claudia, è stato un vero e proprio momento di commozione per quanto era buono. La selezione dei vini, pensata per esaltare ogni piatto, è stata scelta con cura, amplificando ogni sfumatura del percorso gastronomico. Attenti, preparati e sempre presenti al momento giusto, Giuseppe e Andrea, gli assistenti di sala, offrono un servizio impeccabile, con un perfetto equilibrio tra professionalità, discrezione e simpatia. Ciò che rende CRUDO davvero speciale è la sensazione di essere accolti con un calore autentico, in un ambiente dove l’eleganza discreta avvolge senza mai imporsi, creando un’atmosfera accogliente e familiare perfettamente in linea con la tradizione siciliana. Si percepisce davvero di far parte di un progetto pensato con amore e costruito con passione. Claudia e Paolo hanno creato un luogo che va oltre il concetto di ristorante, trasformando ogni cena in un’esperienza indimenticabile. Torneremo con grandissimo piacere!

14/04/2025: Un esperienza da ripetere assolutamente, materie prime di ottima qualità lavorate im maniera innovativa, il tutto accompagnato da una cantina molto interessante ed un personale ben preparato. Un'ottima alternativa per chi cerca qualcosa di diverso dalle solite trattorie di pesce dell'isola.

What can I say about the fish dishes... one taste and you're immediately flying to SICILY... GREAT!!! I who hadn't eaten mussels in a lifetime found myself eating them with gusto in the TASTY PAULLA!!! What can I say about the end of the meal with the OUTSTANDING dessert of the house 😋. We will all definitely come back to try the rest. Congratulations!!!

23/07/2025: Four of us went for dinner, including two children, and we were amazed that, despite it being busy, the kids were served in 5 minutes! The pizza was delicious, and the platter was worth it! The kids had a cutlet with fries and devoured it! Impeccable service, and the waiters were very kind and fast! We'll definitely be back!

07/07/2025: Unfortunately I asked for spaghetti with mussels, I couldn't eat them without sauce, without oil and the mussels were terrible, the only good thing was the cucumber as a vegetable, I sent the dish back.... I took fish for a second course and there was a quarter of a slice of lemon... the same as my son...They brought us drinks when we had already started eating without bread for a while...I The cook is terrible, the sauce was bitter and looking around I was really disappointed

18/01/2025: To mine opinion, New Year's Eve is celebrated with friends and not in restaurants, I am absolutely thrilled with the service, house menu and location. selected and constantly changing menus for palates who want to try something new such as anchovies in fig sauce (to try) and a super crunchy mixed fried dish with vegetables that will make your tongue explode, fresh ingredients, top service, kind and friendly waiters. summer location with playground and breathtaking view, plus we organize birthdays, parties and music galore Prices, to say the least perfect, very good value for money👌

03/06/2025: We were here on Saturday for a pizza with friends... The pizza is really delicious and thin like the classic Roman pizza (perhaps with a slightly smaller diameter than usual). The staff is exceptional in every way. Despite the crowd they were always smiling and precise I think this makes the place even more exceptional...

11/07/2025: The restaurant enjoys a prime location, with a spectacular view that alone is worth the visit. The food is also overall good, with well-presented and carefully prepared dishes. The people managing the dining room and taking orders are very committed, and it's evident: they really do everything they can to ensure efficient service. However, despite their efforts, the dining room staff management appears to be struggling. Some team members seem inattentive, and this impacts the overall experience. What was most perplexing was the clear perception, from inside the dining room, of strong tensions emanating from the kitchen. Hearing shouting and arguments among the staff inevitably ruins the atmosphere, and in such a pleasant setting, both in terms of landscape and cuisine, it's a jarring element and should be avoided. A place with great potential, it deserves greater serenity and coordination behind the scenes to offer an experience truly worthy of its beauty.

On the manager's recommendation, we ordered a mixed fried fish dish and a peppered mussel dish, both delicious. ... The staff were kind, polite, and well-organized in their various roles. We'll be back... congratulations.

We ordered a fried food and some pizzas, I have an eye and already from the fried food from the color I realized that it was exquisite, said and done, devoured! Then what about the pizzas, I am an eater of Lecce pizza, I repeat every week we are looking for the best places. TOP EXQUISITE PIZZA TO RECOMMEND TO ALL MY CUSTOMERS. TODAY I RETURNED AFTER 2 DAYS WITH THE FAMILY, AND I SUGGEST THE TAGLIOLINI WITH SEAFOOD, SUGGESTED BY THE KIND AND SCRUPULOUS MRS. ANGELA, VERY RIGHT TOGETHER WITH THE FRIED CALAMARI. 21/07/2025: A very well-organized, efficient restaurant with true restaurant professionals. The mixed appetizers are delicious, but the grilled fish is especially good. For starters, I prefer the seafood risotto; the grilled meats are also very tempting, but I've never ordered them.
