La Taverna della Rocca in Tivoli is a charming, welcoming place with meticulous attention to detail. I had a seafood dinner and I must say it was all excellent: incredibly fresh seafood appetizers, flavorful mussel sauté, delicate salmon, and a simply perfect scampi cream risotto, creamy and fragrant. The homemade desserts are truly excellent. Kudos to Severino, the owner, who personally oversees the entire kitchen: you can taste the passion in every dish; and another shout-out to his wife, Annamaria, who is always courteous, kind, and smiling. A highly recommended experience!

A very pleasant surprise. We stumbled upon it on the evening of June 30th, after our exceptional visit to the Villa d'Este. A wide selection on the menu. Excellent traditional cuisine, especially the oxtail stew. Delicious pasta and, to finish, one of the best tiramisu we've ever had.

We saw the restaurant during one of our walks through the city and decided to go there for dinner because the outside dining area looked quite lovely with the plants and the lights. The atmosphere is very nice and the staff are friendly too. We weren't the biggest fan of the food unfortunately and there were only few vegetarian options.

Excellent food. Homemade bread and gnocchi. Fresh seasonal vegetables, and everything cooked to perfection. The homemade crostata and diplomati are extraordinary. Outdoor seating. Highly recommended.

01/05/2026: The place is very local, with great prices. The food is quite simple, but the value for money is good. We spent 10 euros for 2 paninis and a 600ml beer.
09/04/2026: Loved this place. Served a tasty porchetta panini sandwich and immediately went back for one of their mozzarella and roasted vegetable panini's. Great value. Lots of locals popping in. Cracking food. And they serve a nice cold beer.
