05/02/2026: Locanda Lo Scudo is a truly interesting, refined, and elegant place. It's a place where you immediately feel at ease, thanks to the cozy atmosphere and the friendly, attentive service. The staff is always smiling and professional. We ate fish and loved it: especially the sea bass, which was incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked. It was a wonderful experience; we relaxed and disconnected from everyday life. A very beautiful, charming, slightly quirky place, and above all, with truly delicious cuisine.

06/01/2026: The wait was a bit long, but it was well worth it. We tried bigoli with sardines, bigoli with lake fish, and more. Everything was very good, and the portions were generous. Some dishes and desserts were imaginatively presented. The atmosphere was pleasant, both inside and out. The service was perfect.

26/12/2025: We had lunch at Osteria Lizzarola on Christmas Day and it was a truly wonderful experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for the holidays, with attentive and consistently friendly service. The Christmas menu was meticulously crafted: traditional dishes prepared with quality ingredients, authentic flavors, and generous portions. Every course was a pleasant surprise, from appetizer to dessert. The quality-price ratio was also excellent. A Christmas lunch that made us feel right at home, but with something extra. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend it!

14/02/2026: Either the pizza or the tasting menus. Everything was very good. Excellent value for money... and the staff were welcoming and helpful. If you want to eat in peace without the waiter standing around watching you finish and take your plate away (as happens in most places), go there. Recommended!

14/02/2026: We often go to Marechiaro with family and friends. The menu varies from pizza (the best) to meat and seafood, but whatever you choose is delicious and made with love and carefully selected ingredients! The gnocchi tour we did on "gnocolar" Friday only confirmed this! Add to that the friendliness and kindness of the girls who make the experience at this five-star place... because that's all it takes!

26/02/2026: I just left the pizzeria. I ordered a marinara pizza with capers and was brought a pizza with no toppings and just tomato sauce. I wanted to ask the waitress why, but I was upstairs, we were alone, and we couldn't call anyone except downstairs. Only after ten minutes did a waitress finally come and I reported the incident. Her response: "I said it downstairs." She never came back. When I finished, I went downstairs to pay and asked what had happened. The owner's response: "I was ordered a marinara-only pizza (which wasn't on the menu). Now, I would have expected her to call the waitress and apologize, but she didn't show up. At the counter, the owner didn't call her and told me she made a mistake and I can't stone her because she was new to the job. I would have expected an apology from her and would have understood, but I don't blame her, but rather the owner's arrogant response, who defended her and, in his opinion, fixed everything with a small discount. Conclusion: Poor service and an arrogant owner. My opinion: I strongly advise against this pizzeria, and be sure to check that your order is respected because there's little oversight in the dining room, and if you complain, the owner doesn't care. I feel sorry for the other waitresses, who were certainly better trained, but who, in the end, will all be affected and unfairly judged. 09/03/2026: Even though I'm from Verona, I'd never eaten at this restaurant before, but I was very impressed! It's truly beautiful inside! The service is attentive, professional, and friendly. I'd like to give a lot of extra points for the bathroom—it smells amazing, it's spotless, and I've never seen disposable toothbrushes, diapers for babies and adults, in short, everything you need in case of an emergency! Really, congratulations!

08/02/2026: We stopped at this restaurant almost by chance, and I can confidently say that the excellent reviews I've read previously are entirely accurate. The location is splendid, with meticulous attention to every detail and a truly pleasant atmosphere. The service was impeccable, from the moment we greeted us until the end of the meal: the staff were attentive, friendly, and professional. The quality of the ingredients was also excellent, clearly evident in every dish. I will definitely return if I have the opportunity to return to this area.

25/01/2026: I went for lunch with a group of twenty. Everything was delicious, from appetizers to dessert. The Amarone risotto was excellent, as were the main courses: thin and flavorful steak, perfectly cooked to medium rare, and perfectly cooked chicken. Everything was delicious, and I could have asked for seconds. The wait staff was helpful and impeccable. The rustic atmosphere was appreciated. Highly recommended.

01/03/2026: I feel it's important to highlight an issue that deserves further attention. After ordering side dishes, using the single-serving sauces available at the table, we noticed an unusual aftertaste in the condiments. Upon checking the packaging, we discovered that the ketchup had expired; some packets even had an expiration date of 2025. We immediately informed the wait staff, who removed only some of the packets from the table, leaving the rest. The fries already covered with sauce were not replaced, and we received no explanation or apology for the incident. Beyond the incident itself, it's important to emphasize that serving expired products can pose health risks: a more sensitive person or someone with certain conditions could even feel unwell. For this reason, checking expiration dates should never be overlooked, especially when dealing with foods intended for immediate consumption. More scrupulous attention to detail would avoid unpleasant situations that, in other cases, could lead to more formal disputes. We are reporting this incident in a constructive spirit, trusting that it is an isolated incident, and hoping for a tangible improvement in oversight and customer service.

03/01/2026: Booked by phone with just a few minutes' notice. Allergies/intolerances were carefully managed. The restaurant is warm, bright, and not at all noisy. For lunch, two people had cod and soppressa, tortelli with pumpkin, and tagliolini with ragù. Amaro and coffee. A bottle of Pinot Grigio with each meal. Spent less than €100 I recommend strengthening the wine list, both aesthetically and qualitatively. Overall, very good.

27/01/2026: Excellent place, the atmosphere reminds you of the old taverns of the past. The food is very good. We had appetizers: pasta and beans, bigoli del Musso, tripe, polenta and cod, and colt. All really good at a very fair price. Friendly staff. We really had a great time, and if you're in Verona, I highly recommend it.

05/01/2026: In October 2025, after 16 years, we decided to fulfill our big dream... to get married on Lake Garda, our favorite place! ❤️ There couldn't have been a better place than CASA DEGLI SPIRITI to celebrate our wedding! The perfect location, with a spectacular view of the entire lake, the owners SARA and FEDERICO, two wonderful people we will always hold dear, along with all the staff and the rest of the family, made us experience a day we will NEVER forget! We contacted SARA to organize everything, and she was always there even remotely, putting us in touch with the musicians and florist (all wonderful people!) For the civil ceremony, we always relied on her, and with her sweetness, she made it romantic and special! So, from the organization, to the ceremony, and the wedding reception, as she always says, SARA WILL TAKE CARE OF IT! ❤️ Best regards and a big hug Michele & Michela

14/10/2025: I only visited the bistro, not the restaurant! The food and drinks are as high-quality as the prices. The service is stiff and at times arrogant. Regulars obviously get better service. The restaurant thrives on the lake view from high above and its expensive guests.
