01/05/2026: I chose this restaurant randomly, just because it was close to my hotel, without having any real expectations. Seeing that all the tables were full was already a good sign, and I was lucky to find a spot. The staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming with everyone, creating the feeling that all guests were regulars. The seafood spaghetti was full of flavor, with perfectly cooked seafood and a well-balanced combination with the pasta. And the tiramisu was simply out of this world. It turned out to be a truly outstanding culinary experience, and I will definitely come back in the next few days.

My husband is from southern Italy, and we regularly eat out at good restaurants—especially in Italy, where we value quality, ambiance, and hospitality. Unfortunately, none of that was present here. The appetizers were far too expensive for the quality offered. The mussels were the worst I've ever eaten—prepared without care and simply smothered in unseasoned tomato sauce. Truly disappointing. The younger staff seemed overwhelmed and unprofessional. They even initially wanted to charge us a cover charge for our one-year-old daughter—that's questionable, to say the least. The menu is also confusing and unnecessarily complicated. Overall, I can't recommend this restaurant.

06/04/2026: Our go-to every time we visit Lazise. Extensive menu, delicious fried mussels, kilos of wonderful mussels, excellent first and second courses. The restaurant manager is always welcoming and friendly, and the place is pleasant. Recommended.

28/04/2026: We ate lunch. The service was quick and the servers were very kind. We ordered pork, lamb, beef and chicken and every single one of them was prepared perfectly. This was high cuisine. The ambient outside could be better - old and light plastic chairs and tables.

01/03/2026: I feel it's important to highlight an issue that deserves further attention. After ordering side dishes, using the single-serving sauces available at the table, we noticed an unusual aftertaste in the condiments. Upon checking the packaging, we discovered that the ketchup had expired; some packets even had an expiration date of 2025. We immediately informed the wait staff, who removed only some of the packets from the table, leaving the rest. The fries already covered with sauce were not replaced, and we received no explanation or apology for the incident. Beyond the incident itself, it's important to emphasize that serving expired products can pose health risks: a more sensitive person or someone with certain conditions could even feel unwell. For this reason, checking expiration dates should never be overlooked, especially when dealing with foods intended for immediate consumption. More scrupulous attention to detail would avoid unpleasant situations that, in other cases, could lead to more formal disputes. We are reporting this incident in a constructive spirit, trusting that it is an isolated incident, and hoping for a tangible improvement in oversight and customer service.

21/03/2026: Delicious dishes are served on the beautiful terrace adorned with flowers and centuries-old plants. The cool valley breeze makes dining al fresco truly enjoyable on these warm summer evenings. The homemade pastas are excellent, featuring seasonal ingredients, including black truffles from Lessinia, and the homemade giardiniera (pickled vegetables). In addition to the à la carte menu, fresh daily specials enhance the truly inviting offerings. An extensive wine list caters to all tastes. The staff is very friendly and the service is attentive, even in the table setting. A well-deserved 5 stars.

29/01/2026: What can I say? One of the best places I've eaten in recent years. Splendid view and interior, relaxing atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff—I might even add incredibly patient, considering part of our group arrived quite late. The food was all delicious, and while I'm not usually a fan of second courses, I ordered a tagliata (a slice of beef) that made me reevaluate it because it was so tender and flavorful. I left incredibly satisfied, having paid a fair price for the quality of the products offered (including the wines). A special thanks to Martina, who served us for most of the time and was truly kind and positive.

27/01/2026: A good, well-maintained restaurant. Truly excellent food, original and made with excellent ingredients. Service was pleasant, but slightly absent in the dining room. The only downside, though quite noticeable, was the long wait, especially for appetizers, first courses, and coffee. I assume it was something unexpected, as I didn't find any mention of it in the reviews. One last complaint, a bit cold, was brought to the attention of the staff. I highly recommend the passion fruit soufflé, which is delicious.

06/04/2026: The food was very good, whether pasta or pizza. However, part of the order was forgotten, and they didn't respond until over an hour later. These things happen. Overall, though, the service was unfortunately very poor. No one checked in with us; the food was simply placed in front of us, and then no one was available to talk to us. The server didn't even respond to hand signals at several tables. All in all, very disappointing.

14/03/2026: After many years, we decided to return to this pizzeria we frequented as students. They'll never see us again because the waitress snatched the plate from under my nose while I still had a bite in my mouth. I understand quickly clearing the table for other customers, but there are ways and means.

03/04/2026: Located smack in the touristic part of Verona, this place unfortunately feels like another overpriced trap. Despite the '1924' branding, the authenticity is missing. We tried three pizzas; the Diavola wasn't spicy at all, and the others were just 'so-so' and lacked flavor. Even the chili oil had no kick. The pasta was overcooked, and we had to 'swim' through the sauce to find a few tiny pieces of octopus. The meatballs felt like they were bought from a supermarket, and the Aubergine Lasagna starter barely tasted of aubergine. We also noticed service errors at neighboring tables. It’s hyped but lacks true homemade Italian quality. OK to try once if you're stuck, but there are much better authentic spots nearby.
