28/02/2026: Nestled among the Valpolicella vineyards in a quiet setting away from busy roads, El Pendola restaurant is intimate, welcoming, and romantic. We dined on delicious, tasty, and high-quality local dishes. The extremely friendly staff is always attentive to detail. We'll be back, but this time we'll start with the desserts. I couldn't try them because I was too full, but they look amazing.

18/01/2026: The food and drink are excellent, the staff is fantastic, and the place is wonderful. I can't find any faults. Compliments to the management and the wait staff. Highly recommended!

19/02/2026: I simply ordered a €16 salad and it had tiny insects in it, so I notified the waitress, who said she'd report it to the kitchen. When I paid, I didn't want to say anything so as not to cause drama, but it seems pretty absurd to pay that much for flies.

18/02/2026: Excellent location, service could be improved. The coupon placed on the table to pay didn't match our table. We ordered lunch and the dishes didn't arrive together (it's a case of one person eating and the other looking). The pizza definitely needs improvement.

The first and second courses were delicious, compliments to the kitchen!! 😍 Beautiful location, surrounded by greenery and with a beautiful view that made everything perfect. 02/03/2026: After visiting Verona, we decided to have lunch at this restaurant. We were greeted with great courtesy and professionalism. The food was delicious. We'll definitely be back when we return to the city.

25/02/2026: We've been coming to Bardolino for many, many years, up to ten times a year. So we really know every restaurant. Given the wide range of options in Bardolino, Casanova wasn't our first choice. Now, at the turn of the year, the lease changed hands. The new owner is Sergio. We've known him for a while from the Tempo bar across the street. Now he's also leased Casanova. A bold move! Naturally, we went to check it out. The restaurant has been attractively renovated, and the restrooms are spotless. The menu is extensive. We found the prices reasonable. The food was delicious, and the portions were very generous. My wife's octopus from the appetizer menu was enormous—more like a main course, really. The price of €26 for a good Prosecco was perfectly acceptable. We were there for lunch on Valentine's Day, February 14th. If Sergio can maintain this standard, he'll be successful in the market. We'll definitely be back in April. Highly recommended!

27/10/2025: Fantastic experience at this restaurant. I had the tagliolini with lobster and a Prosecco reduction, and they were truly delicious. I also tried my friend's seafood dish: that, too, received top marks. The service was exceptional. The waiter even opened the lobster for me, a truly appreciated touch. An added bonus: they offer a welcome aperitif and even a amaro/sorbet at the end of the meal. The food was top-notch, and the staff was impeccable. I highly recommend it and will be back soon!

02/03/2026: Kindness reigns supreme among the staff, nothing to complain about, and the prices are average too.... Well, there's a problem: in the room where pizzas and drinks are prepared, we saw things that made us very suspicious.... One of the pizza chefs coughed on his food while preparing the pizzas (they should use a device over his mouth to prevent this), right there in front of us all. The guy at the drinks counter recycled a glass of prosecco brought back to him by the waiter and poured it back into the open bottle, which he then put in the fridge. The glasses were quickly washed with a sponge and immediately reused for other diners without putting them in the dishwasher. It's a shame, because the pizza is good.

28/02/2026: They're super kind, professional, and polite. It's just a shame that both the location and the parking lot are small, and it often made me uncomfortable.

01/03/2026: This place is great. It is located in a strange area and if you dont look at the reviews you may never enter. The food was amazing (one pizza, one tiramisu, one carbonara and one appetizer prosciutto). The staff was very helpful and pet friendly. The whole place has a vibe of traditional and rustic. Prices were great; for all the above and 1/4 wine total was 44.

26/02/2026: I stopped in for dinner on business, and I'm so glad I did. The staff were very courteous, attentive to even the most discerning of guests, and very knowledgeable about food and wine. The place is perfect for any occasion, whether for friends or family. I had an entrecote with truffles, which was excellent; the meat, cooked just the way I wanted it, melted in my mouth. The requested wine was present and excellent. Thank you for a wonderful evening, and congratulations on the desserts.

19/01/2026: We had a delicious and plentiful meal in a pleasant place with a lovely atmosphere. The tagliatelle with salmon and the risotto were excellent. The salads were also good. Very affordable price. Friendly service. I highly recommend it.

06/01/2026: Quiet and welcoming atmosphere. Rustic furnishings. Green park all around. Just a short walk from the center, away from the chaos... Fast service, simple but well-prepared dishes (the homemade tiramisu is excellent).

15/03/2026: This place has a magnificent view of the castle with the river right in front of it, which makes the atmosphere really special. We had some wine and a few snacks to share, and everything was delicious and fairly priced. During the day it’s not too busy, but on weekends it fills up quickly, so it’s better to arrive before 19:00 if you want to find a good spot. The staff were very friendly — we even started chatting with them, and they kindly offered us limoncello and espressos, which was such a nice gesture. I will definitely visit this place again!

21/02/2026: We had a great experience at Du Schei. We found it by chance, but we'll definitely be back. The welcome was exceptional; the staff was friendly, kind, and incredibly helpful! The atmosphere is quiet, intimate, and comfortable. The food was fantastic—excellent quality, amazing flavors.

20/10/2025: Small hotel with modern, new rooms, a 12-15 minute walk to town or the lake. Away from everything. Fine for us, but something to consider. 5 rooms, 1 suite. The front rooms were noisy due to the street, while the back rooms were silent. Great new bathrooms. There was no storage space or closet space, so we had to live out of our suitcases, making the room cramped. Okay for a short stay. The hotel location was okay for October, but certainly less so in summer. The price was right. Booked directly at the hotel. Breakfast could have used more variety, but it was okay considering the price. Good restaurant on site. Italian guests, which speaks for themselves. Had a nice stay in October.

29/10/2025: We had the pleasure of enjoying our wedding dinner with family at the beautiful Le Gemme. There's only one thing to say: Bravo! It's not just about a meal – what they create here is true art. We were captivated from beginning to end and are still absolutely thrilled, even days after the wedding. The creative, magnificent, and fresh creations by Chef Andrea and the absolutely superb service from Lara are second to none. We felt completely at ease, enjoyed the breathtaking view, and are eager to take a cooking class so we can see them again. If you're visiting the beautiful Lake Garda, Torri del Benaco, Le Gemme should definitely be on everyone's list. It must also be said that the location is unique not only because of the view but also because of the incredible attention to detail. Thank you so much, Lara and Andrea! You gave us an unforgettable evening, and we can't wait to visit you again.

26/01/2026: We stopped on the morning of January 1st... excellent welcome, fish dishes beyond our expectations. We will definitely return both for the quality of the products but certainly for the friendliness and sense of welcome that the owner and all the staff make you feel.
