31/01/2025: an unpretentious restaurant with a local atmosphere, excellent service and a beautiful view of Venice The photo shows gorgonzola pizza - I recommend it, it's one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten, be sure to pour olive oil on it. Pleasures!

24/03/2025: Pleasant quiet place, very friendly staff, wonderful breakfast and very comfortable rooms. We didn't use the restaurant but from what I saw and the menus it's definitely worth it. Although the structure is in the middle of the countryside, it is still convenient for Mira station from where after a quarter of an hour by train you can reach Venice

23/03/2025: Genuinely some of the most helpful staff I've ever encountered when traveling. The rustic atmosphere will appeal to those looking to enjoy a peaceful stay and the hotel is incredibly charming itself. Plus, fans of cats will appreciate Pepe and Mal, who are also considered part of the staff 😉 One recommendation for foreign visitors that might not have transportion is to rent a car. The train stations are within a couple miles. However, it isn't necessarily walkable due to narrow country roads without sidewalks and taxis/Uber are overpriced. Venice is a 20 minute train ride from the Mira-Mirano station. There's parking at the train station. The accompanying restaurant is fantastic as well. An absolutely fantastic place to say, if you're looking for quiet, simplicity, and incredibly helpful staff.

13/03/2025: A very interesting experience. Unfortunately, since we don't speak Italian and only one person on the staff speaks fragments of English and there is no physical menu, ordering was a bit adventurous. However, with prepared pictures and a bit of back and forth, we managed to order a meal. We were a bit disappointed that we only wanted one main meal, the locals around us had several courses, but the food was perfect. I had the best Fritzo Misto I've ever eaten and my partner had a wonderful pasta dish. The wine that came with it (bottles only!) was very good and cheap and overall we were more than satisfied.

01/03/2025: Troppo caro per il servizio offerto...direte che siete a Venezia, noi ci siamo fermati casualmente e quindi senza tanto guardare in giro ma poco distante da voi c'erano locali che offrivano lo stesso servizio a notevolmente meno. Spritz a 7 euro e un gingerino 5 euro senza essere accompagnato da niente, un salatino una patatina...poi vi ho chiesto del bagno e mi avete anche guardato male

In sostanza afferma che non può esserci stato alcun errore, nemmeno si scusa né tenta di trovare una soluzione. Comprendo che lavorino a ritmi forsennati ma a questo punto evitate di confermare le prenotazioni!!!L’educazione resta imprescindibile , che caduta di stile….

27/03/2025: If you are in Mestre there are 3 reasons: you wanted to go to Venice but you got lost; you learned about the existence of the M9, the multimedia museum of the 20th century; You work there or live there and you can't escape. In all this, the "da Gino" tavern is a happy island: an "old-style" tavern with furnishings that recall the historic ones of Bologna or Trieste. It is very popular for both lunch and dinner. The owner Maurizio is a large man with white hair, severe but kind, almost always slyly at the counter. The staff in the room are attentive, smiling and quick. The chef comes from Venetian restaurants and can prepare a fish pie or risotto, as well as spectacular beef stew. The menu does not change often according to the seasons. In this period you can find asparagus with eggs or risotto. For second courses they have excellent Iberian meat and ham and medium-aged cheeses. Oh I forgot! The walls are covered with excellent bottles of wine, there are two fridges full of excellent bubbles and you can spend a little or a lot depending on how much you understand... In short, super recommended to try.

23/01/2025: En un mois j’y suis allée une bonne dizaine de fois ! Jamais déçue ! Accueil chaleureux … cuisine délicieuse … Bon rapport qualité prix … on y rencontre pas mal de vénitiens habitués du lieu et entre autres des gondoliers ce qui est le signe qu’on est au bon endroit ! Franchement allez y les yeux fermés et vous ne serez pas déçus !

14/04/2025: Good carbon pasta is OK but it remains a tourist restaurant, so there are better options in more typical restaurants. Fairly fair prices also for the location. The service was simple, and the decoration nice.

27/03/2025: Decent food. Prices over the top, I advise managers to correct the price indications on the Web, because they do not correspond to reality. We spent double what is indicated as an average, if purchasing only 1 first course, 1 second course with side dish and 1 mineral and nothing else (€59 per person). Frankly we were looking for a "cheap" place as indicated on the Web, and we felt deceived.

28/09/2024: As for the food, I can't complain (average in quality and quantity). The service, however, leaves a lot to be desired: the staff are friendly but not very present. Furthermore, you cannot ask for €3 (each) cover charge for a basket with three sandwiches and having to ask for salt because it is not present at the table. Then, perhaps because we only ordered two "second courses" and a bottle of water, at the end of the meal they brought us (always on request as for the salt) 2 toothpicks.

24/02/2025: It was a pleasant surprise. You are welcomed into an unsophisticated environment with a warm atmosphere. Well placed tables, ours for eight people was perfect. The owners immediately empathize with customers and their family approach takes nothing away from an accurate and efficient service. We ate fish chosen à la carte and were fully satisfied, dishes beautiful to look at and taste, generous portions. Sometimes you don't need to travel kilometers to find a good restaurant.
