Ristorante Piccolo Martini In Venezia

Well… where do I even begin. This place wasn’t terrible, but it definitely wasn’t out here changing lives either. I ordered the “seafood pasta,” and I’m pretty sure the seafood part was more of a suggestion than an actual ingredient. The noodles? Fantastic. The seafood? Somewhere out there… probably still swimming. At one point I genuinely thought they just grabbed a handful of seashells from the beach, tossed them in the bowl, and said, “nailed it.” A few bites in, I crunched down on something that made me pause and reflect on all my life choices it was either sea glass or a piece of my tooth. Thankfully, it turned out to be just some rogue shell shrapnel. You know… as one would expect from a quality dining experience. To start, I ordered a salad. I don’t know who the culinary visionary was that decided to dump canned corn on top like they were feeding a farm animal, but bold move. The only upside I can think of is that it doubles as a digestive system speed run once it makes its grand exit later. And for a place that looks this nice and charges like it knows what it’s doing, I was a little surprised the salad showed up completely naked. No dressing. Just vibes. Thankfully there was oil and vinegar on the table, so I had to step in and finish the dish myself like I was on an episode of Chopped. All in all, not the worst meal I’ve ever had but if you’re craving seafood pasta or a salad with actual flavor, I’d recommend saving yourself the emotional damage and looking elsewhere.

Uddin, he burned our sandwiches. I simply asked him what temperature he'd cooked them at, but he didn't understand. He doesn't speak Italian or English. He was rude and angry, raising his finger.

A surprise! Really good lunch, fresh fish, well-cooked. The wine was good, as was the dessert. We had a really good time, the waiters were very kind and friendly. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Venice!! Greetings from Trentino, Val di Non. Tiziana and Luciano ☺️

For the price in Venice, Anwar provided excellent service, the food was very good, and he even included bread and a shot of limoncello. Highly recommended.

Excellent food! If you're Argentinian, the chicken milanesa is a must-try. If you're tired of pasta and pizza (the small ones), it's delicious and made me very happy.
