Very nice restaurant in a small isolated square with tasty non conventional dishes.
Not expensive for Venetian standards.
Kind and welcoming personnel.
I would visit again given the chance.

Small restaurant but great in cuisine and service. A small downside with the reception where the room manager gave us the impression of annoying him by showing up without a reservation. But everything returned to normal afterwards. Octopus salad, ink cuttlefish and delicious pizza 😋

It is rare in Italy, and especially in Venice, to find a restaurant that accepts guests shortly before 3 p.m. Not only is that the case, but everything else is just right. Grazie mille.

We ordered pizza to take away and it was delicious and at a good price. It came out quickly and tasted very good. A great, lower-cost alternative to eating inside, which was full when I went.
We ate 3, we ordered the Santa Maria Nova, one of the specials. It has: fior si latte, smoked provolone, violet potatoes, rosemary, pork cheek (bacon type but more unctuous).

We enjoyed so much we came here twice! The pizzas were amazing! One of the few places in Venice offering good food but not going on and on that service isn’t included pushing for an American tip. There were a mix of locals and tourists.

Excellent pizza. The best I've eaten in a long time. The service is friendly and it is not at all a tourist trap but a real restaurant for Italians. The wine was also very good!

Ho voluto fare l’esperienza di prendere una pizza a Venezia. In tanti decenni di frequentazione della città non l’avevo mai fatto. Ho cercato un qualche riferimento giornalistico, ho trovato un articolo di Venezia today che citava questo locale e mi ci sono avventurato. Bene: Venezia non è città da pizza. Abbiamo assodato ciò. Ma anche le altre cose più tipicamente veneziane, come le sarde in saor e il bacala’ manteca’, qui sono risultate non particolarmente riuscite. Discreta solo la frittura. In tre giorni sono stato in tre ristoranti in poche decine di metri l’uno dall’altro( El magazen e l’osteria la busara) e questo è stato il peggiore per distacco. Non si paga poco.

My wife wanted to try a local dish of sardines called Sarde in saor which is a famous sardine dish. She ordered this which she enjoyed and sage had Margarita Pizza and I Porchetta Pizza.
Both pizzas were simple and tasty but bases were not crispy.
Service was great and we sat outdoors in a nice quiet location.
