04/03/2026: Da Pino is like something out of the Godfather movie. The food is delicious, the staff are friendly, and the service is fast and high-quality. Even the staff are from different religions and cultures. The prices are reasonable. I really loved it; I went there every day I was there, and I hope I'll have the chance to go again.

11/03/2026: Service and food where outstanding, the home made pasta and fried fish 🐟where so tasty and fresh the best fish we have had in Venice. Prices are a little more than others but the quality and service is excellent. Staff super friendly and welcoming right from the start explaining their history and methods, a lovely experience.
07/03/2026: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. It actually turned out to be much nicer inside than it looked from the outside. We ordered two pasta dishes - both were perfectly cooked and served quite quickly. All the staff were very friendly, and it was clear that the team works together like a well-coordinated machine. We especially loved the dessert - the local Burano cookie with cream was absolutely delightful. I highly recommend this place!

05/03/2026: DO NOT GO TO THIS TOURIST TRAP It is clearly a tourist trap. The quality of the products is more than mediocre and the food served is obviously frozen. The cooking is extremely basic, flavorless, and completely lacking any creativity. Nothing justifies the prices they charge. The most shocking part is the price-to-quality ratio: the fish is charged at around €11 per 100 g, which quickly comes to nearly €50 for a frozen fish that is simply cooked, with no flavor and no real culinary work. At that price, you would normally expect a gastronomic level or at least fresh products. Here, it is nowhere close. Almost any food truck would do better for €10. This is very low-level cooking sold at gourmet restaurant prices. The dining room was almost empty, which is not surprising after seeing what arrives on the plate. Venice is full of far better restaurants. Avoid this place. —- UPDATE – RESPONSE TO THE OWNER Dear sir, I clearly know Italian cuisine far better than you do — and cooking in general as well. I knew how to cook a fish properly at the age of seven; in your restaurant, it seems this is still not the case. With more than 40 years of experience in cooking, I can confidently confirm that several of the products served are frozen. In fact, your cuisine has nothing Italian about it: a mix of frozen vegetables in broth presented as vegetable soup, a few slices of zucchini with a watery taste — typical of frozen vegetables — sold as grilled vegetables, and a frozen fish with a rubbery texture once cooked. On one point, however, your remark is correct: it is indeed better to eat at a fast-food restaurant than at your establishment. At these prices, one would at least expect fresh products, properly prepared and respectful of Italian culinary traditions. Here, that is clearly not the case. Personally, I prefer restaurants where ingredients are properly sourced, where people actually know how to cook, and where customers are respected. Yours clearly does not fall into that category. I stand by my review: your restaurant is a tourist trap. Change your practices if you want to receive better reviews.

28/09/2025: We've never experienced anything like what happened tonight in this restaurant in our 30 years in Jesolo. We were treated like dirt by the waiter. He was very reserved towards my wife and me from the start, even though we were there for the second evening in a row. We had fish, pasta, and a salad. Okay, but really nothing special. For dessert, I asked for a tiramisu and ordered a portion, but it never arrived. We weren't even given a second glance. Finally, I politely asked for the bill, without a hint of reproach. After paying in cash, the waiter took the money, didn't give us another glance, didn't say a word, and left the table. I can't explain the situation at all, especially since, with my rudimentary Italian skills, I tried to order in Italian out of respect for my hosts. What remains is disbelief. Other reviews have already suggested that Germans aren't welcome here. Whatever. In any case, one can only warn against this restaurant. Even if it looks quite cozy at first glance. If you want to ruin your holiday evening, go right here.
27/09/2025: We ended up at this restaurant because of the rain. The decor was nice, and we were able to sit down to eat. After a while, a waiter came over, took our drinks, and placed the usual "bread basket" on the table. Since we'd been out for a long time, I took a piece (the bread was very dry on top). I noticed that there were red spots on the bread and looked in the bread basket. Apparently, this basket was already at another table, where they were apparently serving red wine (we hadn't ordered any). When I complained, the waiter simply wanted to wipe the bread with his apron. I looked at him confused and said I didn't want it that way and would like a new one. From that moment on, the waiter was extremely annoyed and brought our food and was otherwise very rude. If we hadn't already ordered food, we would certainly have left the restaurant sooner, as this behavior is completely unacceptable in my opinion. It's also possible that we were having a bad day, as there are certainly good reviews, but we wouldn't go to this restaurant again. You have to know for yourself.

01/03/2026: A historic restaurant in the city, once a highly regarded landmark. The current management offers Roman cuisine prepared with precision and without compromise. We returned today, after a few years, and the restaurant has not only maintained its quality, but has even improved. We were very satisfied with the quality of the dishes and the friendly, professional service. The first courses, such as carbonara, cacio e pepe, and gricia, are meticulously prepared, using flavorful ingredients and delivering top-notch results. The Roman-style artichokes and puntarelle salad also give you a taste of Rome. They also offer "alternative" meats: kangaroo, zebra, reindeer, and the like. Personally, I prefer to stick to tradition, but in the past I tried a nice cut of bison. The price is reasonable for what's on offer. The space is spacious and the atmosphere is family-friendly, yet quite refined. Well done.

30/01/2026: I came here with high expectations, made a reservation in advance, and specifically chose Christmas Eve dinner, the earliest being 7 PM. Unfortunately, it was windy and rainy that day 😂 (or perhaps the terrace was closed), so I couldn't visit or dine there. The atmosphere was steeped in history: the restaurant's interior retained a lot of Venetian-style decor, with mahogany furniture, exquisite tapestries, and sparkling crystal chandeliers, as if the air was filled with the lingering charm of 19th-century aristocratic social life. It had a strong retro feel reminiscent of Venice's Golden Age. The service was professional and top-notch, with a touch of Italian theatricality, which was quite distinctive. As for the food, it was a standard Michelin-starred meal. The most outstanding dish was the fish in the main course, which truly showcased their skill in handling fresh seafood. The truffle risotto, while generously filled with truffles, lacked the unique flavor of truffles. However, the final panettone was rather ordinary; this finishing touch to the festive atmosphere was underwhelming, probably a mass-produced version from a large company. Top-notch atmosphere and service! Of course, the bill was also top-notch 😂 It's a matter of opinion. The food was a bit formulaic and lacked something, making it less cost-effective. (Personally, I value the core functionality of a restaurant more.) But if you're going for the historical background and scenery, it's worth it.
