25/08/2024: Such an incredibly rude waiter. I normally never leave negative reviews but I happily make an exception due to the appalling service. Might have been because we were tourists? Don't work in the service industry if you don't have normal communication skills. Ruined the otherwise wonderful evening. Food was average. Probably would have tasted better if the guy serving us would've been nicer.

21/08/2024: I don't like giving low marks, but the evaluation must be done at 360° and managing a booking is part of it. I had booked the day before via TheFork app with the intention of having a family lunch out of town, attracted by the location and the extensive menu. Instead, upon our arrival we were greeted by the maitre d' who warned us that on summer Sundays they would only serve a light lunch by the pool. Too bad it wasn't written anywhere, not on TheFork, not on Google or even on their site. However, it would have been enough to notify via email or telephone, given that I had left my contact details, and the booking was from the day before. Among other things, it had just rained and so, instead of by the pool, we had lunch in the breakfast room, sitting on uncomfortable iron chairs. The time, it was 1pm, and the presence of my eighty-year-old mother stopped me from leaving. Nothing unforgettable as a light lunch: Good strangozzi, decidedly dry hamburger, in the ceasar salad the crouton was dry and not toasted. In short, a Sunday not exactly to remember.

25/08/2024: Lo straconsiglio. Cena ottima accompagnata da un servizio eccezionale. Il ragazzo giovanissimo che ci ha serviti ha aggiunto quel qualcosa in più alla cena. Ha accolto ogni nostra domanda e richiesta sempre con il sorriso e, nonostante scelte alimentari particolari, allergie e intolleranze, siamo usciti a pancia piena e super soddisfatti. Ottimo anche il rapporto qualità-prezzo. Non abbiamo fatto in tempo a fare le foto, abbiamo gustato tutto subito.

24/08/2024: Ristorante in centro a Gubbio, location tipica e molto affascinante. Servizio efficiente e cameriere molto professionale. Cucina locale davvero ottima, abbiamo assaggiato un po' di piatti, tutti buoni.

24/08/2024: I strongly advise against visiting this establishment. Despite their insistence on requiring reservations, they informed us that they would be closed when we attempted to make one. The staff was extremely rude and unfriendly, making us feel unwelcome. Additionally, we felt discriminated against because we are from Latin America. Be cautious of places that portray themselves as something they are not and the people who lack professionalism. We are professional businessman from Latin America and we felt discriminated against.

24/08/2024: Nel bellissimo tour turistico e gastronomico tra Umbria e Toscana il primo premio sicuramente al Perugino! L’unico locale dove siamo tornati con piacere… Proprietario e personale cordiali e gentili . Cibo squisito e porzioni abbondanti. Ci torneremo sicuramente. Consiglio!

20/08/2024: “Tourists are not welcome” Upon arrival the waiter took our order and our starters arrived quite quickly. The starters were very pleasant and all was well. Maybe 5 minutes after our starters arrived our pizzas arrived as-well. We were taken aback as most of us weren’t finished with our starters and we found this choice quite odd. During the whole of our stay the entire staff kept glancing at our table and made soft remarks while passing by. We were missing a pizza and when asked the waiters multiple times they had to check every single time. When the pizza did arrive most of us were finished with our foods. Not wanting to let the rudeness of the staff impact our dining experience I was optimistic about the food since our starters were great and the overall reviews of the restaurant were nothing but amazing. Our food came and I found it to be beyond tragic. I ordered the mortadella pizza and I was severely disappointed. My dough was overflowing with flour and so consuming every bite with it. The mortadella was bland and the pistachio taste was nowhere to be found. During our stay, we couldn’t help but notice a quite particular foul smell that would greatly strengthen when the wind blew upon it. When we finished eating we wanted to take our leftovers home and asked our waiter. In return we were handed a piece of aluminium foil and a plastic bag. This whole experience was truly a shame. I find it a personal tragedy that food was handled this way. Edit: Comments from the restaurant owner should state the more than obvious state of the restaurant. Pathetic

06/07/2024: Personal service in an all too touristy place So yeah, città delle Pieve is, well, touristy. But then, so is most of Italy - but that’s ok, it’s a great place to be a tourist. Then again, sometimes things can get a bit … transactional. And that’s where places like this come in - where the staff remembers you if you show up more than once, the prices are reasonable, and the food is …amazeballs. It’s small, and that helps too, and the menu is pretty tiny too - just a handful of things in each category, but they’re all awesome. And, btw, the Umbricelli all’aglione is …amazeballs

07/08/2024: The place is cute and has potential. The cocktails are very good. The problem is the service which is slow and not very attentive. We ordered four drinks and the waitress brought three. I requested mine and was told "ok perfect" but it still hadn't arrived, I requested it and another waitress said "no but we can't do this today" so I got another one instead of my original … It's a slightly expensive place and for an aperitif you have to ask for the chips yourself. I think it's a shop policy but you have to pay the bill immediately even though there were few people and we were sitting there at the table, I could understand during events but on a Tuesday evening a little exaggerated. Furthermore there is nothing for vegans and vegetarians a bit the same...

13/08/2024: This place may not look like a lot in the front, but there are many tables inside, with friendly staff and amazing pizzas. There are many pizza choices on the menu and every single one we tried was incredible. The pizzas are fully covered with toppings, and the price is really good. The staff is very nice and speak good English. All in all a great place for dinner!

09/07/2024: Historic pizzeria in the centre, with tables outside along Corso Cavour, the table is slightly sloping and is a bit annoying, the chairs have armchair-type seats, they are comfortable but the reclined backrest is not really suitable for eating. We went as a group for dinner, going early, so the service was quick and efficient, the drinks arrived immediately, we waited a quarter of an hour for the pizzas. The mozzarella in carrozza is very good, the pizza has a dough with mixed flours and a part of wholemeal flour, so it is more consistent, and if it gets cold it is a little hard to cut, but it is very digestible. The pizza is excellent, the products are of high quality and the toppings are plentiful, with one serving you will be satisfied. We each had a beer and a pizza, spending €16.50 each.

30/07/2024: It's a shame because you can see it wasn't the right evening, pici cacio e pepe with truffle, they were pici in white with grated cheese on top, the pici were well made anyway, the other diners liked the pizza
