03/11/2025: Nice restaurant, but otherwise a bit disappointing. The welcome was unfriendly: the waitress seemed annoyed because, just five minutes after we'd been handed the menu, we still weren't ready to order. Around 2:45 PM, they were already sweeping the tables with brooms and dustpans, giving the impression of trying to ask customers to leave, even though many were still eating. Furthermore, the risotto arrived just five minutes after we'd ordered, which was unusual for a dish that requires a certain amount of cooking, and the result was rather mediocre. Bathroom tip: The figurine should be purely decorative, not a soap container. It's neither hygienic nor practical to reach for soap from an open object by inserting your hands inside; this solution should be reconsidered.

19/09/2025: Welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, and moderate prices. Despite its predominantly tourist clientele, the culinary traditions of our beloved Italy are never lost in every dish. Excellent appetizers, tasty first courses, and delicious meat. The grocery store is also open during the day for those of us who were nearby on vacation. Highly recommended!

22/11/2025: I was in Assisi last weekend with my boyfriend and we stumbled upon this restaurant while wandering the streets. Thanks to the very friendly and charming owner, we had a typical Umbrian culinary experience. We ordered fried artichokes and scrambled meat as appetizers, and for main courses, Norcina and an off-menu first course with creamed broccoli, bacon, and pecorino cheese. To round out our meal, we ordered a chocolate cake. The restaurant is rustic and quite small but very welcoming.

09/11/2025: Owner Fabio offers exceptional hospitality and service. Excellent selection of ingredients! Everything was prepared with meticulous care by his wife. From appetizers to desserts, everything was impeccable. We had the pleasure of tasting traditional dishes that left us impressed and satisfied. Not at all touristy, but in a great location. It was a pleasure to spend Sunday lunch there. The place is also very quaint and well-kept. They are very welcoming, even with our four-legged friends. Highly recommended.

18/11/2025: The food was superb and Bruno and his team went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The fire in the fireplace and the beautiful, cozy decor and good food was very enjoyable. We all had the Spaggetti Neri with prawns. Highly recommended.

13/11/2025: We had an unforgettable evening at your restaurant today! We were greeted by a very kind gentleman at the entrance, who created an atmosphere of comfort and refinement: incredible design, soft lighting, calm, pleasant music created the perfect atmosphere. Special thanks to the chef! Each of the four dishes we ordered was a masterpiece. The tender fish fillet with perfectly cooked vegetables was particularly memorable, and the sauces were incredibly harmonious. The exquisite presentation of each dish only enhanced the experience. The dessert was simply incredible: the plombir ice cream with black salt and two other ingredients completely rewrote the dessert recipe in our minds. Simply incredible! There are no other words! Our waiter was attentive and perfectly recommended the best wine to pair with our dinner. The service was impeccable, and we felt welcome. The restaurant exceeded all our expectations. 19/09/2025: In the historic center, with just a few tables in the main square, it's a café, but you can also have lunch. We were impressed by the delicious food and the friendly, cheerful staff. Well done.

19/11/2025: We stopped at this restaurant by chance. We realized it wasn't your typical Umbrian osteria, but something more. Despite this, the place is very beautiful and perfect for those seeking a balance between attention to detail and good food. We were looking for more basic places, but in the end it was a lovely discovery. We were rewarded with excellent service from the very generous and kind staff, especially with the glasses of wine that accompanied us throughout the dinner. Thanks again. Their mixed platter was a lovely discovery, as was their unexpected entree: breadsticks with onion-infused butter and warm bread, all homemade. Afterwards, we continued with a truly excellent mushroom risotto, delicate and enveloping at the same time. Well done!

06/11/2025: The Fonduta Di Fontina was simply remarkable....probably not the healthiest dish I've ever consumed, but better than any dessert. Overall food was good, service great and a nice atmosphere. The lamp chops were very thin, but tasty. My wife had the risotto con funghi and was purring. We shall return.

04/10/2025: We've been enjoying excellent dinners at the "Da Massimo" restaurant for over 20 years. Delicious dishes, cooked with love and carefully presented, excellent service, and a stunning location with a breathtaking view of Lake Trasimeno. Congratulations to Massimo, the chef, Maurizio, Lorenzo, and Manuela, who, with their expertise, manage to bring the sea to Umbria!

07/09/2025: I went to Capricorno on the recommendation of friends, and never was advice so welcome. Besides an excellent appetizer with local cured meats and cheeses and mixed bruschetta (the chickpea one was especially good. The best). I ate grilled lamb with truffles. Peace of mind. The price... Far too fair for the quality and variety of products. If you're in the area... Book a table. It's definitely worth it.

06/09/2025: The food was very good, including the view of the lake. Points deducted for the service. Too few employees, who even looked away just to avoid having to serve. Old dishes were still lying around everywhere. When you finally got around to ordering, because you were able to move, things moved slowly but surely. Another point deducted for the bill. You didn't see it until after you paid, and it was incorrect, too. Too many drinks were charged. My impression was that the employee was somewhere between intentional and incompetent.

01/11/2025: A typical local restaurant with a prime location overlooking the central square. We strongly advise against eating at a table, even after ordering at the counter, due to the excessive surcharge. Two cappuccinos and a croissant cost €9.90! Incredible! This will put us off returning to Greve in Chianti.
