Recommended by the Aurora farmhouse, we dined at this restaurant and pizzeria. We ate like a restaurant, not pizza—everything was exceptional. We chose typical Umbrian dishes, generous portions, modest prices, attentive service, and the very kind owner even gave us two packs of traditional Umbrian bread. Thank you and congratulations.

It was recommended to us by a kind lady from Gubbio. Unfortunately, it was very crowded, but despite this, we found the owner to be very helpful and the waiter was kind, accommodating our every request. We had a great lunch, and the price was more than fair. I recommend it.... Thank you.

Positive experience. We stayed one night in Gubbio (Hub Hotel) and once we arrived we didn't know where to have dinner. Google showed us this restaurant as the first available. My boyfriend and I went blind because, not being local (we're from Tuscany), we didn't know what kind of dishes they were serving. Everything was delicious and made with genuine ingredients. Everything was very good. The staff was very kind and helpful. Excellent price. I also thank the gentleman for giving me two vacuum-packed packages of crescia that they make.

10/07/2026: I go to Merendoni every day and every time it's like coming home. Breakfast is my favorite time, not to mention the aperitif, which is the icing on the day. A special thanks to Tommaso, who is brilliant, cheerful, kind, and professional. He always has a smile and that contagious kindness that makes you feel good as soon as you walk in. If you're looking for a place where they make you feel like family, go to Merendoni.
