Il Chicco di Grano was a discovery that won us over from the first moment. The young, dynamic, and always smiling staff have that rare ability to make you feel right at home. From the chef to the maître d', to the entire dining room team: true passion, contagious enthusiasm, and a special care in explaining each dish. The menu elegantly ranges from local specialties to seafood dishes, all carefully crafted and impeccably presented. Each course was a small experience, one that lets you savor the moment. During our three-day Umbrian motorcycle trip, we returned twice... and I think that says it all. If you're passing through Deruta, treat yourself to this.

Extremely nice servers. Only issue is the restaurant is hard to find but good was good and there were gluten free options
