12/05/2026: Unfortunately, the day in Todi started badly with torrential rain that limited our exploration of the city... and it ended badly at this restaurant where we had lunch, encouraged by the positive reviews that make me think I was unlucky... The place was small, full of tables; the outside wasn't accessible due to the downpour. My table near the bathroom was in the middle of the very narrow passage to and from the bathroom. Aside from that, my soup, dedicated to Iacopone, was a mess... I'm not a cook, but I make it pretty good... the wild boar stew was quite tough, served without even a small side dish (2 potatoes, 2 lettuce leaves, nothing...), as is the custom everywhere... The house wine and bread were good, though! Good service from two friendly waitresses. I left disappointed and unhappy with the bill, considering the food wasn't good... Sorry. PS: I'm replying to the management, saying that the table was assigned to us without a choice, and even if it had been as you say, the two free ones were both in the way of the bathroom... and that there was only one table outside, occupied by a young couple; the other tables were empty. I repeat, it must have been an unlucky day for us, and the place certainly deserves the good reviews we read.

01/05/2026: Cozy and quiet place! The owner and waiters are friendly, polite, and professional.

01/05/2026: The price paid was definitely high for what we ate, prices were unclear, for example three desserts cost €36, which was absurd.

15/06/2026: The 2 ladies who served us (and have done for years) are just fabulous…friendly, chatty and fun to be served by. They always have a smile. Please take the time to visit… the outdoor seating in the warmer months is lovely!!!

03/06/2026: We celebrated our baby's baptism here... impeccable as always...from the kitchen to the setting, everything was wonderful.

11/08/2026: This restaurant is the history of the Todi restaurant and as such it passes on typical dishes with ancient secrets, the wild boar stew and the Jacopone pie are an example of this. If you want the real Todi cuisine, you should not hesitate and choose it for its strong flavours: the tozzetti in vin santo are an example or the gnocchi seasoned with wild boar sauce, excellences of the Todi cuisine.

28/07/2026: On Sunday, July 19th, I was in Todi with my wife to visit a dear friend who took us to lunch at Ristorante Jacopone. A beautiful place right in the center, well-maintained and clean. We absolutely loved the food, and the service was excellent. The staff were courteous and friendly. Having been a guest, I can't comment on the price.

25/07/2026: Spectacular location, tables under gazebos with a wonderful view of the Umbrian hills, an elegant yet relaxing atmosphere, impeccable service, and professional staff. The ingredients are of the highest quality, the dishes delicious, prepared with great care, and the wines produced on site are truly excellent. Even the bill, while not cheap, would be in keeping with the restaurant's caliber. But lunch should also do something else: fill you up. The first courses must have contained about 30 grams of pasta, and the second course contained four bites of meat, literally. We were five men, normal people and not obsessive overeaters, but we all left with the same appetite we had entered with. I understand the philosophy of haute cuisine: enhancing quality, avoiding excess. But here they're overdoing it; the courses are just tasters. In the end, we said to ourselves: "Very good... but we should have had lunch before coming here." It's a real shame, because the restaurant would have deserved five stars without hesitation. Normal portions would have sufficed, without distorting the cuisine. As a result, I also consider the price inadequate, not for the quality of the food but for the hunger one feels when it comes to paying.

13/07/2026: Beautiful location near Todi. We were on our way to Viterbo and stopped here for dinner. It's a wonderful place; we even bought a bottle of their wine because we'd tasted it at dinner. They also sell jewelry made from wine corks. Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back.
