10/08/2025: While waiting in line to reserve a table, I was "passed" along with the rest of the line by a friend of the lady at the register. I pointed out that I was in line before him, and he apologized, but I was given the next reservation number after him and, of course, was seated after him. This was rude and unwelcome. The pizza was average. There's definitely better.

10/08/2025: Extremely good pizzas at low prices. Delicious pizzas between 5 and 12 euros that you can eat in or take away if you can't finish them. It's pretty easy to get a seat inside, but there's a bit of a wait for a spot on the terrace. Their success attracts people. It's truly deserved!

14/08/2025: The white wine was undrinkable... The wild boar was a little dry. The frico was good.

I recommend anyone in the area visiting the city—which I found beautiful, well-maintained, and rich in history—to try La Locanda della Signoria. You'll be delighted with the refined, top-quality food!

01/08/2025: What a spectacle. The gentleman who served us was friendly, professional, and a true gentleman. The food was top-notch. I rarely leave a review. This place was worth it. The only drawback is that it's a bit out of the center. But if you want quality food and a reasonable price, you have to come here.

24/07/2025: In our opinion, this place is overrated: average food and long wait times. Our pasta (strangozzi alla norcina) was a very simple pasta with tomato sauce and a few pieces of sausage, while the menu should have had much richer toppings. From the reviews, we expected much more... but we were disappointed.

12/08/2025: Delicious dishes, fast and friendly service, a welcoming and interesting atmosphere thanks to the many inspirational quotes scattered here and there. Even the chickpeas are delicious. Ditto the wild boar sauce, although a little spicy.

14/08/2025: In the meantime, be careful because you might be looking for another restaurant and come across this one... but apart from that, tasteless food cooked by a Bangladeshi who doesn't even know how a wild boar is made and absurd prices compared to the quantities, for 13/14€ that plate of pasta should be abundant and tasty but it was anything but... I won't add anything else, a place to avoid if you want to eat something truly typical and tasty

Locale davvero molto piacevole e accogliente dove puoi goderti tranquillamente la tua serata. 26/08/2025: As guests of the Vannucci Hotel (which is perfect), we tried the Zafferano restaurant in the evening and were very disappointed by the quality of the dishes, particularly the fillet of beef with truffle slices, the meat of which was difficult to chew and the truffle had absolutely no taste... the other two dishes were just okay. We only had the second dish.

13/07/2025: A quiet spot, with outdoor tables overlooking the sunset, perfect for a relaxing dinner. We ate excellently on two evenings, both meat and fish dishes. The soup was excellent, and the ravioli stuffed with scallops and prawns deserve a special mention. The prices are reasonable for the quality. The wait staff and chef are friendly and helpful. We'll be back soon!

06/07/2025: Magnificent and really everything really good um

08/08/2025: We've been sitting here since 8:30 pm and it's 10:01 pm, it's me, a friend and our respective 8-year-old daughters... The girls ate because they insisted they brought their dishes to them, the platter arrived for 2 of us and then nothing.... I'm waiting for the pasta, my partner for the tagliata, fed up I asked if there were any problems... Maximum 10 minutes and I'll serve you.... The girls are sleeping and I'm quite nervous... The platter wasn't great, my daughter's tagliatelle with truffle wasn't either but it was preserved truffle and not fresh and in any case it didn't say fresh on the menu so it's okay...... While I'm writing this, the fateful 10 minutes have passed and here the pasta and the tagliata are nowhere to be seen..... I will never return and I advise you to look elsewhere.... And I'm waiting for the pasta..... The view is stunning! But it's not their doing.... Update, the pasta arrived... inedible without cream, lots of pecorino and guanciale... Very salty!!! The tagliata was good. Another update... After paying a €90 bill we allowed ourselves a cigarette near the car.... An apple was thrown at our car door... Luckily no damage... Oh well.

21/08/2025: A trattoria with room options in Santa Maria degli Angeli, 3 km from Assisi. I stayed for two, one night with breakfast, and then dined there that evening. I had a very good set menu with a choice of starters, main courses, and side dishes. Breakfast was served at our tables. In addition to drinks (coffee, cappuccino, etc.), we also found croissants and braided pastries, toast, yogurt, jam, and Nutella on the table. The place is very charming, with a stone structure and just a few km from Assisi. It was my first time there, but I'll definitely be back. I recommend it to anyone visiting Assisi. The staff was very professional and friendly.
