02/05/2024: We set out without knowing the restaurant... and it was a pleasant discovery, the place was spartan but particular, the food for 10 we had everything based on lake fish, the appetizer from the lake was fabulous and plentiful and what about the queen carp in porchetta? Fabulous and also the frying...everything done at the moment in fact the owner at the time of booking told us not to be in a hurry...to return

26/04/2024: I went one evening with friends for an informal dinner. The restaurant is located along the lake and offers both pizzas and first and second courses. The specialty however is lake fish. We took a mixed lake starter, various second courses including the eel skewer. Reasonable prices, taste, impeccable and efficient service. I absolutely recommend it.

04/04/2024: We had dinner here on the last evening of our holiday and it was a real shame to discover it on the last day because we would have gone there every evening. Small and quiet environment, with particular attention to customers. The boy who served us was very kind and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered the dishes of the day and it was all freshly prepared, both the first and second courses. Highly recommended.

31/12/2023: We went for lunch, we had: 2 starters, 3 first courses including white risotto with parmesan, 1 water, 1 coffee and a bottle of wine. 117 euros. The white risotto 15 euros, completely bland, the rest of the first courses objectively good. We ask for more bread, the first basket was brought to us with a welcome prosecco, the second basket arrives with already torn bread. They justify themselves by saying that it was the leftover from our first basket which was instead sent back empty. The moral? If you want to make people believe that it is a high-level restaurant, it must be so in all its services. For me it was disappointing.

13/03/2024: Era il 9 marzo quando abbiamo varcato la soglia di fratelli bovini, e adesso sono qui a raccontarvi di una delle cene più soddisfacenti, gustose e oltraggiosamente cazzute degli ultimi mesi. Partiamo dal locale: piccolino ma curato. Pulito ma comodo. Beffardo ma alla moda I due fratelli bovini, ( sarà il loro vero cognome? ah bho,) sono simpatici, alla mano. Ma soprattutto fanno fottutamente onore al loro nome. Sanno cuocere dannatamente bene qualsiasi proteina animale . Antipasto potente. Suggerisco di prenderlo ma dovete mettere in conto che è potente. L'ho già detto che è potente vero? I primi sono buoni certo, ma le vette si raggiungono solo con la carne ( e grazie al c@@@o direte voi, si chiamano bovini) Grande, grandissima menzione d'onore per Margherita, la cameriera arguta sagace e simpatica.

Con tanto dispiacere abbiamo trovato un capello nel dolce ,fatto subito presente al titolare e se non lo facevamo presente alla cassa nel conto metteva pure il Dolce con il capello il titolare si er dimenticato,la salsa di senape il tappo del barattolo arrugginito e bucato dalla ruggine . Per 230,00 € spesi senza vino in 4 adulti e 3 bambini tutto doveva essere al top

02/04/2024: Easter dinner, full from lunch but we couldn't miss this gem. Luckily we managed to find a place by booking a few days in advance. The restaurant is located in one of the most beautiful squares in Bevagna, in a slightly secluded street. As soon as you enter you immediately understand that you have entered a very characteristic place, all in stone, it seems like you have stepped back in time. We sit at a secluded table also because we had a small furry friend (so they couldn't give us better seats), the only flaw (perhaps) was that the cell phone didn't work. From the menu we read a good choice for all courses. We opt for 2 appetizers: lard and ciauscolo crostini and butter and anchovies crostini. After a very short wait we are served and we are amazed by the fact that simplicity always enhances quality. For the first courses we opted for homemade cappelletti with porcini mushrooms, very good, and the main dish for over 30 years: His Majesty "Gnocchi with Sagrantino Passito". I must confirm that the 30 years of trials and combinations behind us can actually be felt. They are really good, I hoped they would never run out. For dessert, a must cheesecake, which is also good.

31/03/2024: The only things about this place are the room, which is really nice, the location, practically in the best area of ​​the historic centre, and the prices, which are absolutely affordable. As for the food, however, I was disappointed. The x2 tasting does not deserve and offers nothing special, in my personal opinion. The first, chitarrini with white ragú and truffle left me perplexed. You could barely see the ragù and you couldn't smell the truffle at all. The grilled potato and dessert were also disappointing.

29/04/2024: Classic place where you spend a lot and it makes you wonder why you decided to go out to eat that day, you might as well have done it at home because it was better for you. €40 each for starter, first course and a glass of wine, to wake up disappointed and still hungry... it was really unpleasant. We took a "seared salmon cube", which was nothing other than a very normal slice of overcooked salmon, and the pasta with truffle, which if there was (which I highly doubt) was so little that it was completely overwhelmed by the other mushrooms. We chose it for the location and the very positive reviews, but I totally disagree, there are certainly better alternatives nearby
