25/07/2025: We stayed at the castle hotel for one night. We really enjoyed it! The breakfast buffet was fantastic, and the view was breathtaking. Overall, every member of staff, and of course the owners, made every effort to fulfill every guest's wish. The outdoor area was a feast for the eyes; you can tell it's been lovingly maintained and decorated. Our room was older, but it was clean and very quiet...we slept very well, so we slept very well. We'll definitely be back!!! Keep it up...

21/07/2025: Review: Disappointing stay for our silver wedding anniversary – unfortunately, not recommended We were really looking forward to our stay at the castle hotel and wanted to experience something very special for our silver wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, our expectations were not met – quite the opposite, we were disappointed. With its 4-star superior status and correspondingly high prices, the hotel was our conscious choice for an exclusive experience. However, upon arrival, we noticed that the service was not up to par. The staff was at times unfriendly and unprofessional – so much so that we sometimes felt uncomfortable just going there for dinner. The room was also anything but contemporary: clearly dated, with worn furniture and little charm. The hotel complex itself, while generally beautifully located, appears unkempt and neglected – again, it lacks the standards one would expect from this category of hotel. The food was also disappointing. Neither the taste nor the presentation met the standards of a 4-star superior hotel. Overall, the value for money was disproportionate. We had hoped to spend our wedding day in a stylish and high-quality setting – instead, we were left with a bitter aftertaste and the certainty that we wouldn't visit this hotel again. A real shame.

25/07/2025: We used the hotel (and Bolzano) as a base from which to explore the Dolomites and other places. The hotel was extremely comfortable, the staff very helpful and friendly. I want to especially thank a lady called Key who works at the breakfast bar who noticed I had back pain one morning and found time to advise me how to get some medication! The only minor drawback we found was the parking situation which was a bit confusing, starting with finding the correct underground car park. Also it is not the hotel's fault that there are extensive road works and blockages in the town centre currently but this made matters more confusing. The daily cost of parking, athough discounted, was a slightly unpleasant surprise after arriving. That said, the hotel staff always took the time to explain everything in detail when asked.

25/07/2025: We arrived at the hotel at 1:46pm and brought in all our luggage, only to be told that the rooms would only be ready at 3pm. To our surprise, they said there would be a charge just for leaving our luggage there—and insisted that we should’ve asked for permission before bringing it in. So next time, if you’re planning to stay at this hotel, make sure to check with the reception first whether you’re even allowed to bring your luggage in, or you might end up with unexpected charges. It’s honestly a joke. I’ve stayed in so many hotels over the years, and this is the first one that actually charges just for leaving luggage before check-in. Never seen anything like it — what a policy. Or maybe… the service felt different just because we’re Chinese. Who knows? You decide.

04/07/2025: We were greeted and served in a friendly manner. The recommendations were very helpful, and we felt very comfortable.

13/07/2025: Food was delicious and the desserts were really great 👍. Excellent service provided by the service staff.

11/07/2025: A complete disgrace! We ordered a tomato and buffalo mozzarella salad and the goulash. They first brought a plate with a spoonful of mashed potato as a "snack," which we never asked for and for which they later charged 10 euros!!! The main courses were awful. The buffalo mozzarella wasn't buffalo, and it came with a few cherry tomatoes and some shaved white cabbage. Unbelievable. No wonder we were almost alone!

22/07/2025: Una opción asequible con excelente comida y vistas increíbles en Ortesei - una trampa turística en todas partes con turistas ricos extranjeros locos gastando precios locos en toda la comida. ¡Comimos por 50 euros -sangrado de cordón, carbonara y litro de vino de la casa- con fabulosas vistas en Ortesei! Volveremos - las pizzas se ven increíbles.

22/07/2025: A due passi dal Duomo di Ortisei, questo locale arredatoin stile montanaro, con una bella terrazza esterna, offre piatti della tradizione locale ben cucinati, a prezzi nella media della zona. Servizio rapido e cortese. Kaiserschmarren fantastico!

20/06/2025: Excellent food and service for realistic price! Highly recommend to have dinner there. One of my all time favorites! From now on every visit of Bozen will be accompanied by a dinner there!

20/07/2025: We dined at Panorama thanks to our hotel's special offer. Five evenings, five different menus were offered by the chef. We especially enjoyed the local dishes. They offered us the option of choosing dishes from the menu, paying the difference, of course. Overall, we had a wonderful time, and the entire staff was truly friendly.

20/07/2025: A beautiful and elegant place, slightly dark, but it depends on your taste. High-quality food, well-prepared and beautifully served. At first glance, it seems like a very well-groomed place, but the helpful and fun staff immediately puts you at ease, making every step of the meal enjoyable. A refined wine list with truly interesting labels. There are many tempting off-menu options. I would go back!

05/07/2025: The food was absolutely amazing! The place and the restaurant are very beautiful. Great wine selection. The restaurant was full, and it was clear the staff had a lot to handle. We’ll definitely come back every time we’re in Merano.

02/07/2025: We stayed at the Hotel Heubad last week and felt very comfortable in our beautiful room. The hotel offers an outdoor pool, an indoor pool, massages, and much more. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and competent. Breakfast was excellent, and the 5-course dinner left nothing to be desired – delicious wines rounded off the experience. The free bus service takes you to hiking areas and towns like Bolzano or Bressanone. For us, it was pure relaxation.

06/07/2025: We had a very pleasant evening at the restaurant. We discovered the inn through the menu and were not disappointed. We were impressed by the regionality of the dishes and ingredients, along with the high quality of the food. The service was attentive and pleasant, and the sommelier guided us well through the evening. The prices are rather moderate for fine dining. The view is, of course, magnificent, and the dining room is pleasantly rustic. Overall, a recommendation!

07/08/2025: Bello chalet, infelicemente collocato dietro un distributore di carburante lungo la statale 244. Per la clientela è comunque disponibile un piccolo parcheggio privato scoperto lato struttura. L’ambiente è accogliente. Curiosa la “casetta interna” in stile rustico tipo chalet dove poter cenare. Servizio puntuale, cordiale, di buon livello. Cucina di qualità e quantità, ottima anche come pizzeria. Al dessert, è curiosa la presentazione dell’affogato, servito con bricchetto del caffè a parte. In sintesi: un bel locale, una buona proposta, un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo.
