16/02/2024: Arrivato a Bolzano senza metà, abbiamo fatto una passeggiata per il centro e ho cercato un locale dove mangiare tramite l'applicazione della Associazione Italiana Celiachia (AIC). Senza saperlo mi sono ritrovato proprio davanti al ristorante Walther's, nella centralissima piazza Walther e le recensioni utenti AIC erano confortanti. Avevo un problema: avevamo portato con noi anche il nostro giovane cane di taglia media. Abbiamo chiesto se era possibile accedere anche con il cane e non solo ci hanno accolto senza fastidio, ma subito ci hanno portato anche una ciotola di acqua per il nostro cane. Il menù è quasi tutto in versione anche senza glutine. A mia figlia brillano gli occhi quando può scegliere tra vari piatti come tutti! Ma ancora più le brillavano quando ha assaggiato gli gnocchi al radicchio: i migliori assaggiati da anni! Anche il tiramisù senza glutine era ottimo. Gustoso il bis di canederli su un letto di verza e formaggio e le verdure wok con scamorza. Piacevolissima l'accoglienza del personale di sala, tutti molto gentili. Una speciale menzione a William che ci ha descritto e consigliato con cura tutti i piatti e ha contribuito a rendere speciale una piacevole serata in famiglia! Piacevole atmosfera. Un piacevole ricordo! Grazie di tutto!
05/02/2024: Ottimo locale per chi, come me, è celiaco ma non vuole rinunciare alla possibilità di scegliere tra differenti piatti della tradizione. All'interno del menù, infatti, è segnalato accanto ad ogni piatto se vi è la possibilità di richiedere il senza glutine. Io ho preso dei gustosi gnocchi con salamella e radicchio e un ottimo strudel. Consiglio vivamente!

03/04/2024: I had dinner there with a friend. The service was very nice and the restaurant looked ok too. I had ordered a spaghetti carbonara, but was given a spaghetti with cream and South Tyrolean ham. This wasn't what I expected. I was expecting a spaghetti carbonara with guanciale and no cream like I know from Italy. Maybe it would be good to add “South Tyrolean style” to the menu.

26/03/2024: We went there at least three times in one week of skiing and always felt comfortable. The pizza is good, but the spaghetti carbonara is a hit, you have to try it. Unfortunately, the prices are just as they are. After all, all the clutter has to be moved up there and the many employees have to be paid. Overall a great restaurant, would be happy to come back.

21/03/2024: I would give 0 stars. A place that I often frequented to eat Neapolitan pizza, but recently they have changed everything. Today was the last time I often spend money and time in this place. Neapolitan pizza is no longer eaten here. The raw materials are of low quality, the dough is not understood.. You can't eat it. Parking 1 hour €6, in a garage and stairway that smells of garbage and expired food. The girls who work inside seem pissed off, rude, I can understand that work is tiring, I did it too, but kindness and willingness must always be. I am disappointed. Horrible experience. The only positive thing this evening was the waiter: really kind, attentive and courteous. I don't wish a dinner like that on anyone.
17/03/2024: The pizzas were good, the service was very friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Unfortunately the music was far too loud for our taste, so we deducted one star.

23/03/2024: I took an aubergine pizza without mozzarella, but there was a lot of choice and I could have also had it with lactose-free mozzarella (+2 euros), Kamut, wholemeal, etc. In my opinion it was very good and light. We didn't wait long, but they still brought us a small appetizer on the house. The environment is nice, the staff friendly.

06/01/2024: Nel complesso positivo per come abbiamo mangiato ma un po’ di osservazioni le devo fare. La loro entrée di benvenuto, apprezzabile se fosse stata “calda” essendo un piccolo involtino fritto (il fritto freddo proprio no). Il piatto del pane con il coltello per il burro lascia supporre che ci sia in effetti anche il burro o qualcosa di simile che però non abbiamo visto. Quando porti un antipasto per due persone di solito si chiede se portare un altro piatto per la condivisione ma l’ho chiesto io. Alcuni vini non erano disponibili e l’abbiamo appreso nel momento dell’ordine mentre eventuali indisponibilità dovrebbero essere segnalate prima a voce o scritte sulla carta dei vini. Infine, una volta rientrati in hotel (quindi colpa nostra che non abbiamo controllato) ci siamo accorti che nel conto ci sono stati addebitati due bicchieri di vino che non avevamo preso avendo ordinato solo una bottiglia di Magdalener (più che sufficiente per due persone). Peccato
20/12/2023: Ci sono stato il 2022 durante i mercatini di Natale. I proprietari ospitali e gentili. Ristorante gourmet. Buon cibo prezzi nella media vasta scelta di vini. Ci ritorneremo.

03/01/2024: Di norma non scrivo recensioni… per pigrizia e perché ho seguito le inchieste di report sulle recensioni truccate dei siti… di recensioni. Mi sento in dovere di recensire con il massimo dei voti questo ristorante perché credo sia penalizzato dal luogo un po’ fuori dalle località di richiamo della zona. Abbiamo cenato scegliendo alla carta piatti di pesce. Tutto strepitoso e preparato con cura e ricerca. Carta dei vini assolutamente all’altezza. Cortesia e servizio che non hanno nulla da invidiare ai ristoranti rinomati / stellati tenuto conto dell’esiguità del personale (1 cuoco + 1 fratello e mamma ai tavoli). Prezzi adeguati alle materie prime e alla maestria nella preparazione. Se siete in zona…. o dovete farvi qualche decina di minuti per raggiungerlo….non perdete questa occasione..

A small family business in the best sense of the word that achieves great things. With Richard in the kitchen, with his brother Walter and his mother Maria in the service. Three hosts - a brilliant performance that combines all South Tyrolean virtues and puts the guest at the center. Hidden away at an altitude of 1200 meters, something very special is created. For example, a 7-course “Classic” tasting menu that brings the largely undestroyed nature of the mountains and meadows through which you can hike underground onto your plate. Original, genuine, intense. At the same time refined, artfully and contemporary. With wild Asparagus, fennel, porcini mushrooms, chanterelles and cranberries straight from the forest. With old vegetables and grains, herbs, flowers and berries from the local bed. Uncompromising freshness, best quality, unadulterated, dense taste. Appreciate the wealth of nature where it comes from streams, rivers, lakes and oceans. Sea bream, John Dory fillet, amberjack, turbot, wild salmon, sturgeon, trout, char. Same concept: unconditional quality, outstanding craftsmanship, passion for the soul of the products, sincerity, without annoying frills. Just not unconditionally local. But with exquisite champagnes on the menu - and always the right wine in the cellar that the curious guest can recommend. In Aldein. In the south of South Tyrol. At 1200 meters altitude. In a mountain village. Simply casual, cool and confident! Because the Ploner’s can – and because they like it that way. What a statement!? At the same time, it says a lot about the Ploner family. 29/03/2024: My goodness, what a burger!! Highly recommended if you are in the area. Four for the environment for the bathroom outside (not the best when it's 7 degrees) but otherwise the sandwiches and the fried onions and the rustic chips are really good. Well done Gino&Michele!!!

13/03/2024: The pizza is as tasteless as the decor. Light beer from the tap served in a wheat beer glass... Limoncello is simply placed on the table and billed for, and it also tastes like dishwashing liquid. Salad presented completely carelessly. You don't need a chef for this. Tiramisu liquid and tasteless. Definitely not recommended!
