04/04/2024: Overpriced and poor quality. I had a Wiener Schnitzel with potato salad. The salad leaves that were included for decoration had large brown spots, the meat was of poor quality and very dry, and the portion was rather clear. The waitress slammed the food onto the table in an unfriendly manner and without any comment. When we wanted to pay and told a waitress, she just said that the boss would do it and left without a word without notifying him.

29/03/2024: A very high quality restaurant. Excellent dishes and made with a lot of imagination. An impeccable service. Highest quality raw materials. Even the wine list...... A symphony. Compliments to the Chef and his entire team.

09/02/2024: The “Unterwirt” is the top culinary address in Gufidaun. Family run three man/woman restaurant. Michelin star level. Everything at its best and also unusually friendly and accommodating.

15/10/2023: Unterwirt is actually Uber Anderen. It is hard to describe the experience we enjoyed at Restaurant Unterwirt. From the moment we arrived until the second we left, it was pure bliss. Chef Thomas Haselwanter and his lovely wife Cornelia treated us like special guests. Sommelier par excellence Cornelia guided me through the extensive wine list and described the menu perfectly. After asking about allergies and individual tastes, she made some recommendations. I am not a big fan of eggs, and we joked that there is always time to change. The 1st course was an appetizer with a quail egg on top. It was great. Then we moved on to the tasting menu: meat for my wife fish for me. Braised oxtail and roast beef were delicious and ravioli, and Turbot was great. When we came to the dessert for me, it looked like a fried egg and toast. Actually, it was creme anglais and citrus sorbet, and it was spectacular. After the meal, Chef Walter joined us for a photo op and a chance to answer questions about his passion for culinary art. If you have the opportunity, make a detour and visit Unterwirt, you will not be disappointed.

10/01/2024: Abbiamo avuto il piacere di cenare in un tradizionale ristorante tra le montagne del Colle e siamo rimasti estasiati dall'esperienza culinaria. Il menu offriva una vasta selezione di piatti raffinati e creativi, che hanno soddisfatto ogni nostro desiderio gastronomico. Dall'antipasto al dolce, ogni portata era una delizia per i sensi. La carta dei vini era altrettanto impressionante, con una selezione eccezionale di etichette provenienti da diverse regioni vinicole e soprattutto del posto. Abbiamo optato per un vino rosso corposo e aromatico, che si è rivelato il perfetto accompagnamento per i nostri piatti. Il capo sala era molto preparato e ci ha consigliato abbinamenti perfetti per ogni portata. Oltre alla qualità del cibo e dei vini, l'atmosfera del ristorante era incantevole. La vista panoramica sulle montagne e sulla città di Bolzano e l'arredamento altoatesino hanno reso la cena ancora più romantica. Il personale era cortese e attento, garantendo un servizio impeccabile.

10/01/2024: Non posso che elogiare l'hotel in montagna in cui io e la mia famiglia abbiamo soggiornato durante la mia ultima vacanza. Sin dal momento in cui sono entrata, ho avuto l'impressione di essere accolto in un'oasi di tranquillità e bellezza. La struttura è immersa in un paesaggio mozzafiato, circondata da maestose montagne e rigogliosi boschi. Le camere erano spaziose, confortevoli e arredate con gusto. Ho apprezzato particolarmente la vista panoramica sulla città di Bolzano. Il personale dell'hotel è stato estremamente cordiale e disponibile. La cucina dell'hotel era semplicemente deliziosa. Ho avuto l'opportunità di gustare piatti tradizionali preparati con ingredienti freschi e di alta qualità. Ogni pasto era un'esperienza culinaria unica, che mi ha fatto apprezzare ancora di più la cultura e la tradizione locali. In conclusione, il mio soggiorno presso questo hotel in montagna è stato semplicemente perfetto. Ho trascorso giornate indimenticabili immerso nella natura, coccolato dal comfort dell'hotel e viziato dalla squisita cucina. Consiglio vivamente questa struttura a chiunque desideri vivere un'esperienza unica e indimenticabile in montagna.

06/04/2024: Very comfortable place located in a hotel, going down the stairs you arrive in a rustic restaurant all in wood with a new, slightly more modern part, abundant dishes, amazing pizza, prepared with love, friendly and professional staff. I'll be back

18/02/2024: Fantastic experience!! Beautiful Hotel! Excellent cuisine, very friendly and helpful staff, room always clean and tidy. Excellent location, the bus stops in front of the hotel and takes you directly to Siusi. Congratulations to the Kompatscher family.

21/03/2024: Notice to all waiters in Italy as the season is about to begin. I would like to warn hotel staff throughout Italy of the danger of this restaurant. It's not a great working environment. They have an extremely hard time finding staff. The cook ran away after a few days while they found no staff in the room. The waiters from the last season don't want to come back. The food for the staff is typical of a refugee camp and the working hours are long. It starts at 9.00 until 16.00 then from 17.30 until 1 after midnight. The accommodation is like a dormitory every 3 people sleep in one room and there is only one bathroom without windows for about 7-8 people. The kitchen is dirty and nothing works. All these things are not said during the interview. Indeed, Goran the director (he addresses people without calling them by name but by crushing their fingers) fills you with dreams and false expectations. If they call you, don't leave, you risk having a wasted trip

08/03/2024: A modern restaurant with minimalist furnishings, in the center of Bolzano. Possibility to choose between à la carte and tasting menus. Fish, meat and vegetarian dishes. Excellent and professional service. Good wine list, mainly Italian. Medium-high prices.

27/02/2024: Certainly one of the better restaurants in the city. Staff quite professional, even if they seem a bit snooty at times. Prices are very high, you should work on that, you get very little for it.

18/12/2023: Piccola gemma nascosta nella corte di un edificio architettonico antico unico e straordinario, ambiente caldo elegante, curato accogliente, atmosfera incantevole, personale cordiale e attento, servizio preciso, cucina eccellente, piatti che esteticamente hanno un gusto armonioso si distinguono dai piatti della zona, ottimi e porzioni abbondanti, ingredienti di prima qualità, abbinamenti perfetti dei vini un vero gioiello culinario. Il menù cambia ogni due settimane.

02/04/2024: A small Coke in a restaurant for €3.50 + €3 for sitting is a rip-off in my opinion! I can't give any information about the hotel because I didn't use it.

21/03/2024: Popped in by chance for a quick lunch while visiting the city. I'll start by saying that even though I've been traveling around here for years, it has never happened to me. It turned out to be a really nice little place, away from the tourist masses, quiet with few but good dishes, excellent quality service and prices below the tourist average!

09/03/2024: Sono stata qui a pranzo con mia figlia. La sala è elegante ed essenziale..peccato che essendo domenica a pranzo ci fosse un po' di confusione a causa delle numerose famiglie con bambini. Ho mangiato un risotto agli asparagi, buono, ma forse la cottura del riso andrebbe tenuta più al dente. Mia figlia ha preso dei gnocchi, molto ben fatti. Mi e dispiaciuto il fatto che il prezzo dei gnocchi, che noi abbiamo chiesto al pomodoro, sia rimasto lo stesso del piatto originale (gnocchi con ragu di cervo). Anche la bottiglia d'acqua l'ho trovata un po' cara...5 euro...Molto buona la focaccia servita al posto del pane!Camerieri gentili, disponibilità e pazienza della cameriera, soprattutto al momento del conto.

11/03/2024: Very nice evening with a surprise menu. The staff worked very hard to make everyone understand the products and dishes on offer. The wine indicated by the sommelier was excellent for a reasonable price. An experience to recommend.

09/03/2024: It was a beautiful dining experience. With the “dedication” tasting menu we felt the sea around us. Very polite staff. We will definitely be back.
