The Nußbaumer thrives on its location, the charming staff, and the fresh cuisine. The menu isn't extensive, but everything is highly recommended! Let Moritz guide you through the wine selection – he can tell you a lot about the local wineries because he knows them personally. Also, head to the heart of the Nußbaumer – the wine shelves have much more than what's on the menu. Treat yourself to more than just a pizza and a glass of house wine. It's worth it!

01/02/2026: We dined at this restaurant one evening during our ski holiday. Even when I made my reservation over the phone, I was struck by the courtesy and gratitude of the person on the other end. The dinner was spectacular. High-quality ingredients. If you truly want to eat typical Val Gardena cuisine, I highly recommend this restaurant. The gnocchi were spectacular, as were the pappardelle with venison ragù, which was also top-notch. But for us, the venison medallions with polenta and sauerkraut were the standout! The portions were definitely more than adequate, even a little generous (but don't change them!!). I absolutely have to give a huge shout-out to Mr. Pietro, who served us impeccably and was incredibly kind and also very, very friendly. We will return to this restaurant every time we return to Selva di Val Gardena. We hope to see you in the summer! Hugs from Rome! ❤️

17/05/2026: Greetings! A visit to Restaurant Figl always feels like coming home, or at least it feels that way. You're always greeted with a smile, the food is delicious, and there's plenty of local wine available – often already in my glass just thinking about it. It's worth it year after year. 23/03/2026: An absolute gem. If you desire excellent traditional food of Alto Adige, and yet also a bit of modern flair, Arome Thaler is the perfect restaurant. The tartare di manzo might be the best I've had. The salad of asparagus and scallops was bright and fresh. Roast veal, succulent and tender. Wonderful Lagrein. And, perfect waitstaff. An excellent experience.

15/03/2026: Great experience! We had a nice table upstairs to the left - perfect for privacy within a small group. The service was exceptional, same with the food. The T-Bone Steaks were on point as requested. Very, very good. Totally recommended.

19/05/2026: Most terrible experience ever! I booked in months advance, hidden costs and policies were communicated only after check-in. So we threw out double the price than any other nearby hotel for nothing. Now they don’t answer my emails for months and do t even bother to update their infos. Never again.

18/05/2026: We've been coming to the Hotel Citta for many years. Unfortunately, we have to say that it has declined significantly recently. In March, we reported a leaking water pipe in the bathroom, with puddles of water in front of the sink. Nothing was done about it. Now we were there with friends, and the hairdryer was broken—it was replaced with another broken one. Doesn't anyone check things before replacing them?! During the night, hotel guests were partying in their rooms and left their trash outside (pizza boxes with leftovers and other garbage). At 10:00 a.m., the mess was still there, even though cleaning staff had already been there. Are they all just fed up and incapable of doing their jobs? Even worse, and it's almost unbearable, are the pigeons outside the outdoor dining area. The bored staff just watches as the pigeons knock everything over on the uncleared tables, and six to eight pigeons even knock over glasses and dishes. The staff sees this and doesn't really react, and if you say anything, they just shrug. The other bars and cafes manage it. They clear away quickly and leave nothing behind. We always enjoyed coming here and are now unsure whether we'll book at the Citta again.

23/02/2026: We had a very pleasant stay. A cozy, homey atmosphere. The hotel is very clean and spacious. The food was delicious, including a generous breakfast and a four- or five-course dinner in the evening. The family and staff are friendly and welcoming. Easily accessible by car, public transport, and ski bus. The location is quiet and close to a supermarket and shops.
