20/03/2025: Wow! Excellent service. I’m a vegan, and every night they specifically created a special 4 course meal just for me! Service excellent. Nothing was ever a problem. Never waited more than 5 mins for the shuttle bus. They truly go above and beyond. Excellent views and so conveniently located to everything you can need. It’s the best hotel in the area for sure!

13/02/2025: The hotel has a very nice hotel bar, there was even live music that evening, which contributed to a relaxed atmosphere. Unfortunately there were few guests on site that evening. The cocktail 🍸 prices are appropriate for the high-quality location.

21/04/2025: On holiday in Poland we stopped there for a quick lunch break, we had a great time, the place was welcoming and the staff were friendly. 10! to Amatriciana pasta

18/04/2025: The food was amazing and the service even better. All the staff were incredible and very accommodating. The menu changes daily and all food is cooked very fresh. You can tell the chef is very passionate about what he does.

11/03/2025: No holiday in Fiè without at least a visit to the Binderstube. We always enjoy staying here as family and friends and have never been disappointed once. The service, and here I really mean every single person, is extremely friendly and attentive, we always look forward to seeing you again and we always feel welcome. The food is creative, delicious, has always been tasty and every age and every taste preference gets their money's worth. Even our daughters always look forward to visiting and eating. The selection of wine is well coordinated and balanced. If you are not an expert, you can also get personal and competent advice on wine matters. We will definitely come back!

22/03/2025: We went for dinner on the last day of the season. The restaurant was quiet and they were missing several dishes from the menu, but the ones we tried were delicious. The attention was very good.

12/05/2025: I'm actually not a fan of Google reviews because it's always a snapshot. It's been 2 years since our visit. But the experience there doesn't leave me alone. What I'm also not a fan of is the hype surrounding restaurants with Michelin stars. You can't actually eat badly, especially in South Tyrol. Nevertheless, we wanted to try it again. It was a complete disappointment. The entire meal was seasoned with soy sauce. I could have gone to any Asian bistro and it would have been better. But the highlight was that in the room where we ate, there was a Russian family in tracksuits sitting at the next table. It's a no-go in a restaurant like this. The icing on the cake was that they also smoked in the restaurant and the service didn't dare to put a stop to it. The only thing the service managed to do was apologize after we paid our €700 bill because the Russians smoked. It is more pleasant in every ski hut in the Sella Ronda.

06/04/2025: stella michelin meritata. la sala completamente rivestita in legno è una Stube centenaria. Ottimi piatti ben curati e serviti, La cucina rappresenta bene lo stile altoatesino con ricette complesse, ma con un equilibrio di sapori e consistenze sempre presente . Nota di merito alla piccola pasticceria, molto creativa e servita su un tappeto di chicchi di caffe.

21/05/2025: The two of us stayed at the Schloss Hotel Korb from Sunday to Wednesday. The first impression was good, but the room was a bit dated. Upon entering, we could hear the toilet running, and the rain shower wasn't working. Otherwise, everything was clean and tidy. The common rooms are also overflowing with decorative items and are partly dusty and run-down. The hotel is definitely in need of renovation in many areas. The location is outstanding, and the view over Bolzano speaks for itself. A beautifully landscaped outdoor area with an infinity pool and sauna in front of the vineyards is inviting and impressive. The service is very inconsistent and dependent on the individual. From long wait times to inattentiveness and ignorance, we unfortunately had mostly negative experiences with the service. All in all, the stay was fine, but we wouldn't come back under these circumstances.

14/03/2025: The greeting from the kitchen, raw (sashimi) cod slices and asparagus tips with olive oil, a very good start. The sea bass fillet with prawns and seppia was perfectly fried to perfection, good wine recommendations, friendly service Come again

15/05/2025: Not directly in the center, many locals meet here to end the day. The food is homemade and delicious. We can recommend the tagliatelle and the Herrengröstel (a kind of fried risotto), but the rest of the dishes look delicious too. Service is excellent! Reservations are recommended, though; word has spread that this is an insider tip 😉

13/05/2025: Seit 3 Generationen kenne und liebe ich den Schwarzen Adler 🦅 in Kaltern. Auch mit der jüngsten Generation am Herd ist das essen noch besser geworden. Traditionelle Gerichte verbunden mit moderner Zubereitung und einem immer freundlichen und aufmerksamen Service-Danke Familie Röggla 💐

14/01/2025: What makes a hotel special today? In my opinion, it is the people who work there and the philosophy behind it. It is also about paying attention to nature and respecting the environment, e.g. the traditions in the region. It is also about letting the guests participate in it by introducing them carefully, without the need for rules. That is an art these days. This is crowned by a lavishly laid table, without waste and excess, but with the special composition of the dishes and the selection of ingredients. You will find all of this at the Gasthof Kohlern. Authenticity among the people who work there. Respectful interaction, lightness and relaxedness as a natural coexistence - guest and host. Exciting stories, integrated into nature. You don't want to leave there and yet it may be precisely the leaving that makes you look forward to the specialness of coming back. And every year there is something new to discover, selected with great care and love. Thank you for being there, dear Gasthof Kohlern team.

13/01/2025: The hotel to relax and recharge your batteries. Josef and his crew are really special. The last time we were there was 10 years ago. Now it worked again and we booked a room including half board over the Christmas period (December 23rd - December 26th, 2024). I summarize the hotel services as follows: 1. Hotel The house has a 125-year-old history. Josef spared no expense or effort to modernize everything. A living room with an adjoining open fireplace (wonderful), a restaurant with a panoramic view of the mountains high above Bolzano, a top wellness department... The infinity pool and hot tub (open despite the cold and it was a show to be in there) A wine cellar, a seminar room (all very, very tastefully designed) 2. Massages A "must", the relaxing massage was a dream 3. Food & Service The absolutely highly professional kitchen surprised us every day with first-class dishes. We enjoyed every dish in the multi-stage episodes. The 4-6 courses were an explosion of enjoyment. It's really amazing what the kitchen does and the quality of the food that comes to the table. All, but absolutely all, of the service staff were professional, quick and absolutely friendly. Here I felt that the crew was behind Josef's concept. So it's really fun to be a guest 3rd room We had room number 6 on the 1st floor An ideal room for us with a balcony and the view over Bolzano was brilliant The cleaning was simply perfect... and we and our dog 🐶 "Oskar" felt really comfortable. Conclusion: The house was already great 10 years ago. Today Josef and his team have once again made a leap forward in terms of quality. I am personally pleased that there are still such first-class hotels with top-class cuisine and service. Celebrating Christmas with singing in the in-house chapel was something very special for us. We just say 'thank you' for this great time. This house made our Christmas 2024 perfect. We'll definitely be back💪
