The pizza was delicious, and the drinks menu, with its spritz variations, offers a welcome change from the standard beverages. The service was very personal, attentive, and professional. The seating area in a quiet alley is very pleasant.
08/07/2026: I was there for lunch on Monday with my daughter. I had a truly excellent eggplant parmigiana. The service was attentive and friendly. The place and outdoor space were lovely.

Chef Gottfried interprets regional cuisine with a deliberately small, seasonal menu at an impressive level. Every dish is prepared with passion, creativity, and masterful skill – a culinary experience that delights even the most discerning palates.
The wine list leaves nothing to be desired. The carefully selected range of regional wines harmonizes beautifully with the dishes and underscores the restaurant's connection to the region.
The ambiance also contributes significantly to the special experience. The beautiful rooftop terrace creates a unique atmosphere with a special flair on balmy evenings. The stylishly designed interior also impresses with its charm, attention to detail, and warm, inviting atmosphere.
But what truly makes a visit unique is the genuine hospitality. Whenever possible, Chef Gottfried personally takes time for his guests, serving them himself, and pleasant conversations arise naturally. You don't just feel like you're being served, but genuinely welcomed and valued.

28/05/2026: Family of 8 had a lovely stay, late May. Staff was graceful, patient, and provided great service, even coordinating arrival of our lost luggage. We’ll be delighted to return.
19/05/2026: Most terrible experience ever! I booked in months advance, hidden costs and policies were communicated only after check-in. So we threw out double the price than any other nearby hotel for nothing. Now they don’t answer my emails for months and do t even bother to update their infos. Never again.

03/08/2026: As someone with celiac disease, this is one of the best places I've ever been. The menu has a wide variety of gluten-free options, and not only that, but the waiter also confirmed that they have two separate kitchens, which is always reassuring to hear.
The food was excellent, offering pizzas, pasta, and other dishes. Furthermore, the service was fantastic, making this place a 10/10.
I'll be back!

21/07/2026: I'm not satisfied. The food was very good, but there wasn't enough. I waited 40 minutes for the appetizer, and the main course arrived soon after. That was also tasty. After that, I waited almost an hour for my dessert, which I then had to cancel because it was getting too late. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, but the organization is a complete disaster!

09/08/2026: Very large and clean swimming pool. It got busier in the afternoon, but that is logical with temperatures around 37°.
A large pool for swimming laps, among other things, another large pool at the back, a swimming area with a slide and some whirlpools, and a toddler area for children up to 6 years old. Everything is very clean and well-maintained. Plenty of supervision, which is also nice. Large lawn with shady spots under the trees. Sunbeds are also available, but when it is busy, they are occupied quickly, of course.

10/06/2026: We ordered pasta with beef ragù and a tagliata, starting with the totally tasteless ragù made with butter and bay leaves🤦🏻♂️ pasta without salt, a totally distorted recipe. After the third forkful, I left the dish because it was inedible. As for the tagliata, we weren't asked how done it was, but it was overcooked and wasn't even let rest... It ended up being watery, with a mixture of cooking juices in the bottom and stringy. The bread was very rubbery. The water and wine arrived about 15 minutes after ordering, the bread just before the dishes. The waitress who served us was as friendly as the police after a drunk speeding. I think the owner, unlike everything else, was very kind. She apologized for the pasta and added that in Bolzano, ragù is made this way, and removed the dish from the bill, which in any case was salty compared to the pasta.
29/05/2026: My family and I had an amazing experience at La Torcia Italian Restaurant! The food was absolutely incredible, especially the pizza honestly the most delicious pizza we have ever had. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made.
The waitress was extremely kind, patient, and helpful with our language barrier. She took the time to help translate for us and made sure we felt comfortable the entire time. The service was excellent from beginning to end.
What made the experience even more special was how welcoming everyone in the restaurant was. The entire staff greeted us warmly, and it truly felt like we were being welcomed like family. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for amazing Italian food and outstanding hospitality!
