23/06/2025: It was my first vacation in Tuscany, and I had been looking for the perfect accommodation for a year, and we found it here. 🥰 Allesio and Ricardo's story touched me, and their concept convinced me. We were able to spend nine nights here. The room, in typical Tuscan style, was quiet and very clean. Our hosts were very welcoming and gave personal tips for excursions when needed. The evening meal at Locanda le Guinche was particularly delicious. A table was reserved for us at any time. A big compliment to the kitchen 👌🏼everything here was absolutely delicious. We were always warmly welcomed at breakfast; breakfast was served to us at the table and was always very fresh. Our only criticism was that we would have liked a bit more variety during the 10 days. Excursion destinations were easily accessible, and after a strenuous day, the refreshing dip in the pool was simply perfect. 24/06/2025: One of our best meals in Italy. Traditional Italian dishes with a twist. We got the truffle pasta, rigatoni, and the pork. All was soo good. Would love to come back one day. The patio is also a great atmosphere

07/05/2025: A pleasant discovery! This place really surprised me in a positive way. Not your usual plant-based restaurant with just hummus and salads. With an eye for innovation they have managed to maintain the characteristic flavors of Italian cuisine, simple, tasty but not banal. Highly recommended!!!

27/06/2025: If you're passing through Pisa, head to this trattoria. It's typical, authentic, and incredibly welcoming. Your grandmother cooks right in front of you, your grandfather comes to chat, and everyone is lovely. The dishes are delicious and very affordable: spaghetti Bolognese for €6, a homemade dessert for €3.50. (There are very affordable set menus) A real gem!!🍝🇮🇹

18/06/2025: It was amazing, it was something very special. Having lived in Italy for a long time, I thought that I could no longer be surprised by delicacies and service, but this is not the case. A place where everything is appropriate and to the point, starting from the variety of different-tasting dishes and ending with excellent staff who will accurately convey the whole atmosphere of real Made in Italy, which in itself is a guarantee of quality. In addition, the restaurant has an excellent, clear chef. One of the few places where you really want to and enjoy coming back. If you are looking for a small, very cozy restaurant in the center of Pisa where it is Mega DELICIOUS, then this is definitely the place for you.

24/06/2025: Typical Osteria with a simple menu that offers excellent quality dishes, accompanied by the friendliness of the staff. All in an atmosphere that makes the experience special.

18/07/2025: Stellar dinner. The location is beautiful and intimate, with a terrace worth watching the sunset. The service is punctual, impeccable, and very discreet. Dishes truly explode on the palate. We had the 2025 tasting menu and couldn't fault the dishes. The flavors were a combination of aromas and flavors that confuse you, leaving you with a suspended, inebriating taste. The price was definitely in line with the offerings. The only flaw, and it's certainly not the restaurant or the staff's, was a "tableful" of true Tuscans who thought they were in an osteria and spent the entire evening shouting... what a shame, the quiet of the valley would have certainly made the experience even more intoxicating. We'll definitely be back.

14/07/2025: Superb setting in Tuscany. Very helpful and friendly staff, fantastic service throughout the evening. My vegan menu was varied and delicious. Not my usual haunt but if you want to treat yourself or others this is a wonderful place to do this. Heartily recommended!

11/07/2025: The pizza was good, but based on the reviews, I expected more. First of all, instead of slices of ham, there was some kind of luncheon meat, which really spoiled the overall effect. There are only three tables, so you had to wait first and then eat quickly, as other people were already waiting. Prices are low.

26/06/2025: As soon as we entered, in addition to the warm welcome from the owners, we were pleasantly delighted by the excellent aroma coming from the kitchen. We opted for fish but there is also an excellent choice in the land menu. Very fresh fish, cooked to perfection and with passion! I highly recommend it! Congratulations indeed!

20/06/2025: Every time I am in Pisa I come to Mario. Exceptional Margherita, crunchy and slow-rising, also *gluten-free*. Friendly staff and top-quality pizza. A cool place in Piazza delle Vettovaglie for evenings with live music (there are street musicians) in a cosmopolitan and medieval setting.

15/07/2025: Really cozy, warm atmosphere - you set up your table then order food at counter and pick it up once it’s read. Home like feel. Get the coconut mousse for desert, so delicious. The pasta with ragu was a bit too al dente for my taste, but my taste pallet might just not be Italian enough to appreciate it. Otherwise the salad was great - generous portions even for a half portion. And the pieces are crazy cheap - $5 for well sized half portion of salad and $5 for well sized half portion of pasta. Cheapest meal of our trip in Italy. I’d go there for a cozy ambience, cheap food and drink. Great spot.
