01/10/2025: A very nice restaurant – we went for lunch, and it was busy both at midday and in the evening. The pasta was extremely tasty, especially the white ragout with mushrooms and chestnuts. Wine by the glass was a bit on the pricey side for local wines, but the service was friendly and efficient.

21/09/2025: Light, tasty, crunchy. Three words that perfectly describe my experience at this restaurant. The pumpkin and gorgonzola tart was a soft, flavorful cloud, surprising you from the first bite. The handmade macaroni, wrapped in mushrooms, was simply divine: fresh pasta, just the right amount of texture, capturing every aroma. And the fried mushrooms... crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, a crunch that was pure satisfaction. Then you meet the chef, smiling and passionate, and you immediately understand the secret: her cuisine is made with heart and authenticity. A place that stays with you and you'll definitely want to return to.

08/09/2025: Excellent wine selection and excellent first courses. The tiramisu is delicious! It takes a while to get there, but once you get there, you feel right at home. The atmosphere is quiet, rustic, and well-kept. Prices are reasonable. Recommended.

17/07/2025: The outdoor space is beautiful. We sat indoors with the AC and were happy for it. The decor is a bit hodge lodge, and I wouldn’t recommend the place based on the inside ambience- BUT- who cares? It was a good temperature, not too noisy, and both the service and the food were great. I would recommend any go. And great value for the money. My family of four loved everything we got (except the house red wine- next time, we’ll just buy a bottle). The mixed antipasti- so good! The stuffed pasta in a ragu- we had to order a second- the simple grilled steak- tender and flavourful. The contient- spinach and potatoes- yep, perfect. The chicken? Exceeded our expectations. We were too full for dessert but I bet they’re all authentic and tasty and not too heavy, either. (Oh, one last thing, the olive oil they brought to the table was also very good quality and so tasty)

16/07/2025: Wonderful; memorable pasta dishes there include spaghetti à la vongole, and a seafood carbonara; the place is pretty, be it the courtyard or inside and it is above all both refined and laid back - a balance that us no mean feat.

30/08/2025: Such a gem of a place! We've been twice this week, the most outstanding dish is the boar with olives - just incredible! Pizzas are great, desserts too especially as they're home-made. The lady owner speaks excellent English and she's a real diamond! Highly recommend this place.

22/08/2025: Pinzo has been known for years for its truly excellent cuisine!!! Bar, trattoria, pizzeria, and rotisserie. Passed down through generations, by a large, welcoming family. Every dish has an unmistakable taste of quality. The best!!!! I took a friend on vacation, where she enjoyed traditional Lucca dishes with great satisfaction. From Zuppa alla Frantoiana, Tordelli al Ragù, to Stew with local olives, to Wild Boar Stew. And their fried pasta instead of bread!!!! Unparalleled. What more could I add?...Highly recommended!!!!!!!!

06/09/2025: Exceptional Refined cuisine with local products and made with great passion. Everything was excellent and beautifully presented. The restaurant is beautiful both inside and out, and well-served, with plenty of light and a modern, cheerful, and soundproof atmosphere. The staff was friendly, quick, and courteous. My only complaint was that I would have given a little more importance to the local wine, given the menu, but nothing negative; the selection is extensive and well-managed. A 10-star experience. I will recommend this place and will definitely return much more often.

04/09/2025: Excellent location in the Lucca hills. Simple menu...I had a salad with fresh fruit, nuts, and cheese. Their wine is excellent. The service could be improved.

02/10/2025: Beautiful terrace with a view of the beach and sea, and excellent food. I highly recommend it. Be sure to reserve a table on the terrace!
