11/10/2025: Historic restaurant, featured in the Michelin Guide several times. The open kitchen and well-stocked fish counter. The raw fish are nothing special, but I'm originally from Bari and am used to much higher standards. Various types of shrimp, the usual tartare. The raw cuttlefish needs a complete overhaul, and the red mullet fillet is tasteless... Very fresh oysters... The Trabaccolara (house specialty) is excellent. Delicious desserts. Impeccable service.

02/11/2025: I had lunch at this osteria and was pleasantly surprised. The highlight was undoubtedly the duck breast, cooked to perfection on a bed of succulent leeks—the best I've ever had. I also tried the baked onion, flavorful and delicious in its simplicity. To conclude, the Torta del Nonno chocolate cake was a true masterpiece: soft, delicious, and perfect to end a special lunch. An ideal place for those seeking authentic cuisine and a relaxed atmosphere. The food is excellent and completely relaxing. Highly recommended!

28/10/2025: Well, what looked promising in the photos was rather mediocre. We had a reservation for the evening on Sunday at lunchtime (when the place was packed). We were the only ones there, which wasn't anyone's fault, but the restaurant was quite cold, and the owner and waitress were so rushed that plates were being cleared while some people were still eating. The dishes were interesting, and the menu was small with items you don't find everywhere. The execution was mediocre. What was completely unacceptable was the broken sound system with CDs from 20 years ago and a speaker that crackled more than anything else. We had hoped for more and won't be coming back.

06/11/2025: Old world feel with photos of guests over the years on the wall. We were there at lunch in late September. The owner was there greeting everyone and taking orders. He let us know what was fresh that day, he was very helpful and the food was delicious. Very comfortable setting.

03/11/2025: Delicious food, everything made fresh, very kind and helpful staff, gluten-free options... What more can I say? It's the perfect way to end Lucca Comics! See you next year!

06/10/2025: Unique pizza restaurant in Lucca. Experts at fried appetizers, the battered zucchini flowers were the best I have ever had, perfectly crispy and nice and salty. The mozarella cheese balls were also light and crispy. I wanted to go back and just order 4 plates of the zucchini flowers! Interesting choice of drinks, my campari spritz was very strong, but I enjoyed it. I regretted my pizza choice though, a porchini mushroom one. It made the pizza soggy and the toppings fell off. The dough was upgraded to a charcoal one which looked impressive, I'd just recommend keeping the pizza itself simple / dry. The crust was perfect.

08/09/2025: Excellent wine selection and excellent first courses. The tiramisu is delicious! It takes a while to get there, but once you get there, you feel right at home. The atmosphere is quiet, rustic, and well-kept. Prices are reasonable. Recommended.
