01/04/2025: Entrati per pranzo notiamo subito una patina per terra, il pavimento sembrava lavato con acqua sporca.. A parte questo notiamo l'arredamento senza un minimo gusto e criterio, bianco, celeste, legni scuri, legni chiari, colori a caso. Poco male, se non fosse per come abbiamo mangiato. Due antipasti buoni a metà (tra l'altro nel mio, mescolato con l'insalata, ho trovato la testa di una vite d'acciaio, e fatta notare al cameriere), due primi, con arselle non molto saporito, e con scampi con un sapore forte di brodo di pesce. Cucina a vista dove due dei tre che c'erano, erano senza cappello. Sapevo che si spende oltre la media e per questo speravo decisamente in meglio. Tra l'altro, avrei gradito almeno le scuse (lo sconto non l'avrei accettato) per la testa della vite nel piatto.

The external room, going down the stairs, is closed by a tensile structure with false plants on the ceiling, a little sad for my tastes. There was an unbearable smell of sewage, there were manhole covers under our feet precisely because we were on the side of the road. Flying insect. Unfortunately, almost finished dinner, I got a stomach ache and it continued all night. I ate an appetizer of 5 tastings, good, a pepper of mussels, nothing special, and the excellent dessert, baked fruit with a scoop of ice cream. Wine and water. Euro 50. I'm sorry to make this review, but there wasn't a minimum of attention given to the customer.

09/03/2025: The owners are very nice, the environment is nice and clean, specializing in first courses which they make with excellent products and the care of home cooking. I had lunch with a client and we enjoyed 2 fantastic sea carbonaras, abundant and rich in fresh fish and I say this as a fisherman, followed by a fantastic apple pie made by them, coffee and water... I forgot that we started with a welcome tasting offered by the hostess of bruschetta seasoned with the excellent local oil, a friend told me about an excellent first course on wild boar. We spent 34 euros between 2 of us, therefore a truck stop price and 4 star quality. All in the small village which is still served by a convenient car park 100 meters away. Very highly recommended.

24/02/2025: Liver is a complicated dish. Eating it well and digesting it without difficulty is the litmus test for a restaurant that ventures into typical Italian poor cuisine. Here at Altana there is a 10-rated veal liver on the menu. Cooked with love and skills handed down from grandmother to granddaughter. With onions and lemon (secret ingredient to make the liver taste at its maximum splendor). At this point it is superfluous to evaluate the quality/price ratio because you would pay double what it cost for a dish like this. Well done. Climbing in February with drizzle and cold up to Barga...."it's worth a Mass". See you soon.

02/02/2025: Locale accogliente e personale gentilissimo.Che dire del cibo? Pasta fatta in casa condita con sughi particolarmente gustosi,abbondanti ed espressi. Il filetto al pepe verde è morbido e sfizioso,accompagnato da contorni altrettanto accurati. Porzioni abbondanti a prezzi contenuti. Ci torneremo senz'altro.

30/03/2025: First time I go (with hindsight unfortunately I have to say) but from now on I will definitely go back, the pizza is truly special, light, well cooked and with fabulous ingredients and dough, even the appetizer and dessert in my opinion very noteworthy, kind, helpful and friendly staff all at a very honest price. You have to wait a bit but it is more than understandable on a full Saturday evening. I will definitely go back as soon as possible (I hope soon). Thank you and congratulations! 👌

07/03/2025: Excellent Neapolitan pizzeria. Possibility to park easily near the venue. Internally it has been recently renovated and is very welcoming. Wide variety of choice of pizzas between classic and particular, clearly with Neapolitan dough. Typical sweets from Campania. Kind and attentive staff. Average price. Highly recommended!!!

03/01/2025: I went to this restaurant with my family on a trip to Lucca and the surrounding area. As soon as we entered we were overwhelmed by a sea of ​​drawings which, even if it's a nice idea, the place was full of them. The food was quite good slightly slow to bring it to the table but with good quality. The service was friendly and efficient but a little insistent: as soon as we arrived and were seated the waiter walked around us, putting a bit of pressure on us. The bill was consistent. Thank you

31/03/2025: Excellent place for food and service, family atmosphere very helpful even with a child like we had to make the requested dish. Excellent wines also on the advice of the owners, I recommend trying this place. I will come back for sure.

06/01/2025: Locale carino molto accogliente. Dal menù scopriamo che la pasta è fatta in casa quindi prendiamo tortelli classici al ragù e tortelli di castagne con ricotta e speck entrambi strepitosi! Ottime le polpette fritte e spettacolare lo sformato di spinaci. Molto buoni anche i dolci e fenomenale la crema di limoni offertaci.

05/01/2025: Exceptional restaurant. Homemade pasta. Amazing mushroom ravioli, as are the butter and sage ones. Delicious herb soup. Excellent cheesecake. If you pass by Gallicano, stop and eat here.

24/02/2025: Visit in July 2024. We ate on the terrace and despite the season, the chef came in person to make sure everything was good. It was! This place is worth the price. As the street is pedestrian, the terrace is quiet.

02/01/2025: The waiter was super kind and helpful, made us feel as if we were at home. The food was ok, but nothing special. We were there in winter, and is was quite cold inside. I understand sometimes you have to wait longer for the meal, but the waiting time of almost 1.5 hour was a bit too long.

09/04/2025: Very good pizza and cecina, one of the best in Viareggio. For some it may be a little greasy but it is traditionally made that way. It also does restaurant service. Good food, narrow place and in need of renovation. Excellent for takeaway.

01/04/2025: Un 10 tanto en la comida como en el servicio. Cuando vuelva a Lucca repetiré. Inmejorables los Tordelloni y los tagliatelli con ragú de mare así como los con alcachofas. Los milhojas de frutas del bosque y el apple pie soberbios!!!

05/03/2025: Siamo venuti a cena per il nostro anniversario e siamo rimasti colpiti dalla gentilezza e cura con cui tutto il personale ti accoglie. Il locale è ben curato, intimo e caloroso, la cucina stupisce con la semplicità degli ingredienti sapientemente cucinati. E Katia (Spero di aver scritto bene il tuo nome) la cameriera che ci ha seguiti, è stata incredibile. Vi ringrazio ancora tutti per la serata che ci avete regalato, bravissimi!
