16/02/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and it was a wonderful surprise. The restaurant has a fantastic panoramic terrace, and the food is truly excellent. They also have vegan and vegetarian options, which isn't a given given the location. Dogs are welcome and welcome. Their restaurant's motto is very charming; I highly recommend it.

28/01/2026: Excellent place, after the bad news of its closure at the end of the year, the good news is that it's reopening with a truly talented chef from Casoli, apparently, along with the help of Rita and, I hope, the old staff, who are truly brilliant. It would have been a shame if it hadn't happened.

31/10/2025: I’ve been here several times in the past couple of decades but first time since 2017 I could come back and again it was amazing. I’m gluten free and they made the most delicious truffle risotto fresh and perfect. It’s more about the atmosphere and better if you can eat all the gluten but still I’m glad to come back. Nice people and perfect Tuscan cuisine.
11/10/2025: The dishes are also excellent to look at, the service is excellent and the interior of the restaurant is intimate.

Picci cacio e pepe were good, but the peppercorns were quite large and too much on the plate...
Tasty picania, changed after the first taste because it was a bit hard to chew.
The owner remade our dish without hesitation.
Terrible coffee (but that's the least of its problems).
I still recommend going there.

01/03/2026: Starting with the very welcoming and comfortable venue, my partner and I had a great time. The service was warm and the dishes were truly exquisite. Furthermore, the staff described the dishes in detail. (We each chose an appetizer, a first course, a dessert, and a glass of still water.) We were passing through on a trip, and it was an excellent stop. We recommend it; good value for money. Absolutely.

12/05/2026: Stefano's is always a great place to eat. The fish is fresh and cooked delicately and simply, without over-indulging, showcasing the ingredients. Spaghetti with clams is fantastic. Baked cod is delicious. The ricotta dessert is a must.

The Cecina was irresistible. Everything was delicious. It was the best 3 euros I've ever spent. I'll be back every summer.
10/06/2026: The pizza and cecina were exceptional, as always, but we made the mistake of sitting at the table with service: 2 slices of pizza, half a portion of cecina, 1 water, 1 tea, and 1 small glass of sparkling wine for €21. A bit overpriced, despite the table service.

03/06/2026: It's worth seeking out and knowing where it is, but once you've tried it, you'll never forget it. It's the classic place where you eat well and spend little, with a perfect table setting and competent staff. I recommend it...maybe make a reservation.
The review above is from 7 years ago; I returned on June 1, 2026, and I confirm what I'd already written.
I hope many of you will go there.
At the moment, you can also eat outside; they have parking, which is located by following the uphill path behind the restaurant. They continue to cook well and keep the prices low.
I'll definitely be back next time (it's not exactly close).
I continue to recommend it.
