22/07/2025: Improvised lunch with the kitchen closed, they seated us at the table and offered us an exceptional experience, definitely worth trying.

20/07/2025: Having visited Colonnata, I must say I was disappointed... in some areas it is rundown and poorly maintained... shame... but I appreciated the free shuttle service... let's get back to the review of this restaurant which is located in the central square right at the shuttle stop... the dishes are not exceptional but good, the lard I ate was good... the service was slow, too slow in my opinion, they need more staff at the tables and in the kitchen... the two waitresses there do the impossible, really good... the organization needs re-evaluating... and I repeat, they need more staff... the menu you find on the noticeboard outside does not correspond with what they bring to the tables... and if you ask, believe me, you will be disappointed... the prices are average but the place with its outdoor veranda overlooking the square makes it pleasant to taste the dishes... but I was more disappointed by Colonnata with all the marble that the town has in some alleys it is unsightly, dilapidated abandoned houses, uneven driveways....

15/07/2025: Super leckeres Essen. Waren 2 x da und hatten Pizza, Pasta und Steak. Besonders das Steak hatte es uns angetan. Preis/Leistung ist top. Ebenfalls schnell, zuvorkommend, freundlich und sehr gut organisiert.

27/05/2025: Lee varias opiniones recientes en tu sitio y piensa que este lugar vale la pena probar. Sólo otras dos parejas en el restaurante a las 6: 30 fue mi primera pista. Pedí ensalada Caprese. 7 deliciosas rodajas de tomate, una pequeña hoja de albahaca y mucha lechuga Iceberg para acompañar el queso mozzarella. No sabía que la albahaca está fuera de temporada en mayo. Entonces pedí los ñoquis de queso azul. Me encanta el queso azul, no es un sabor difícil de perder. No podía probar ningún queso azul. Quizá los ñoquis eran buenos, pero no eran ñoquis de queso azul. Mi esposa tenía espaguetis carbonara que tenía carne de cerdo mínima y no podía probar el queso pecorino. Tengo la clara sensación de que este restaurante está tratando de conseguir lo barato; escatimando en los ingredientes principales de las comidas.

08/07/2025: Excellent restaurant with a terrace overlooking the sea, stunning views. We ordered two delicious first courses and a fish tempura with vegetables, which we ordered seconds of because it was so good. To accompany the fish, we chose Ansonica, a native white wine from Elba Island. A welcoming atmosphere with background music. Impeccable service. Highly recommended.

22/06/2025: Accesso con strade strette e non asfaltate...per raggiungere la struttura discesa è salita ripida con sassolini ...attenzione colazione salata a pagamento...acqua fornita senza etichetta e senza chiusura sigillata ma acqua di fonte....

04/05/2025: In data 25 Aprile 2025, in compagnia di un folto gruppo di amici provenienti da varie parti d'Italia, ho soggiornato per 3 giorni presso questo Agriturismo incastonato nella splendida campagna toscana dotato di ampi parcheggi privati, piscina e corredato da ampi spazi verdi molto ben curati. Avendo optato per la mezza pensione abbiamo potuto gustare l'ottima cucina, varia e abbondante oltre alla colazione altrettanto buona e abbondante. Lo staff capitanato dalla gentilissima titolare sig.ra DANIELA affiancata dalla efficiente sig.ra ERICA e da tutto il personale che sono stati di una professionalità e gentilezza assoluta con l'aggiunta di un particolare che può sembrare insignificante ma che invece non lo è: tutti sempre sorridenti!! sicuramente ci ritornerò. 14/08/2025: I visited this restaurant overlooking the canals with my daughter. It's perhaps in the most picturesque spot in Livorno's Venice district, near the fish market and a short walk from the Fortezza Vecchia and the ferry terminal. Even though I visit Livorno often, I was curious to dine in this little corner of Livorno. The view is spectacular, with the sunset to the west overlooking the sea and the interior looking out toward the canals. Everything was lovely, but beyond the setting, it was the courtesy of the girls and the truly excellent quality of the food that made it my new go-to place when I'm back in Livorno. Congratulations, keep up the good work, and thank you for the pleasant evening spent with my Princess. A dad. Alas, update a month later... I returned about a month later (August 2025) with my partner, remembering the wonderful experience the previous time, which I described above. I had rated everything 5 stars, but this second time, the experience was, for half the dishes, simply "terrifying," leading me to lower the rating to 2 stars. Let me explain... We ordered a mussel sauté, which arrived as delicious as the previous time, also stuffed with a giant prawn. To drink, we ordered a half liter of the house white wine, which was served in a bottle holder with melted ice. Therefore, after our first glass, we realized that the wine was almost room temperature... (about 30 degrees that evening). We asked to refill the bottle holder with ice, but even then, it returned more cold water than ice. Let's move on... We ordered two first courses: linguine with clams and bottarga and a plate of spaghetti with clams. The dishes looked interesting, but we later realized they were very salty, but overly so, and that one of the dishes had no trace of bottarga, and that the lemon pesto was apparently just lemon juice mixed with breadcrumbs (I think). But it was the clams that really made us jump. Of the approximately 50 clams each that formed the base of the dish (like lupini beans—we certainly weren't expecting true clams...), on my plate I counted 8 open clams and over 40 closed, dead ones, meaning they hadn't opened during cooking. I wonder how whoever cooked that evening, while sautéing the pasta with the sauce, couldn't have noticed this, or rather, sent two servings of dead clams to the table, because, in fact, we were served two first courses seasoned with closed clam shells! When asked if everything was fine, I replied "well," leaving it up to the person returning the dishes to evaluate the eight open clams, neatly arranged in a radial pattern on the shell dish, compared to how many closed ones we'd left on our plates. But then again, the dishes were incredibly salty, unlike anything I've ever eaten before. I'm not the type to send dishes back to the kitchen, and I've eaten in "the worst bars in Caracas," but that evening, perhaps we should have done so because, always with politeness and respect for the work of others, a little criticism helps everyone improve. A real shame, I hope due to a lapse in the kitchen that evening, because the place is worth it, the prices are attractive, and the staff is very courteous and friendly. I hope to return soon to update the review.

13/08/2025: The cacciucco wasn't made with the fish called for in the Livorno recipe, the paccheri with blue crab seemed to be seasoned with the same sauce as the cacciucco, the fried anchovies weren't crispy, and neither were the French fries. A complete disappointment.

19/07/2025: We went to Albori restaurant motivated by the good reviews and its prime location within a hotel in Bellagio. The terrace is, without a doubt, the highlight of the place: spectacular views of the lake are well worth a visit, even if just for a drink. And, in fact, that's what we would recommend. We ordered a red and a white vermouth upon arrival, but the presentation was very basic: they simply poured the vermouth into the glass without any preparation, garnish, or accompaniment. Nothing special, neither in the gesture nor in the content. As a courtesy, they offered us a small tuna tartar with cream, which was adequate, although the tuna itself wasn't of outstanding quality. For a starter, we shared a beef carpaccio with tuna foam and olives. The carpaccio was dry, the foam flavorless, and the whole thing was quite bland. For main courses, we ordered sea bass with Mediterranean sauce and sirloin with meat sauce. The sea bass was dry and came with a tomato sauce that reminded us of ketchup, poorly blended and somewhat forced. The battered squash blossoms and overcooked vegetables didn't lift the dish. The sirloin, although tender, lacked flavor, and the accompanying pico de gallo and baked potatoes were completely out of step with what one would expect from a restaurant that bills itself as Italian haute cuisine. Overall, the dishes lacked consistency and flavor. The presentation of the dishes was good, and the service, although attentive, was somewhat oppressive. They wouldn't let us finish our plates or drinks without immediately trying to clear them or refill them, as if they were in a hurry to free up the table, even though the terrace wasn't full and there were no customers waiting. In short, Albori Restaurant offers a spectacular setting that is certainly worth enjoying, but the dining experience doesn't live up to the location or the expectations created. We would recommend stopping for a drink to admire the views, but not staying for lunch or dinner.

15/07/2025: One of the single best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. We did the tasting menu and were blown away. Diverse flavors, things I had never tried, incredible service, etc. I highly recommend reserving a table.

27/06/2025: I came with my brother by chance to this restaurant, immediately the owner welcomes us very affable and kind. We ordered two very good seafood appetizers and to finish two plates of chips with sauces. We also ordered Falanghina wine very sweet and pleasant to the palate. We spent a lunch in absolute relaxation. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone

16/07/2025: Restaurant at the Poggio all'Agnello resort: an excellent experience! Impeccable service, extremely kind and attentive to every guest's needs. The quality of the dishes is top notch. We also tried the pizza: being Campanians, we were skeptical... but it was exceptional! Highly recommended. Next time we're in the Baratti area, we'll definitely be back for dinner!

06/07/2025: Disgusting! Gordon Ramsey would probably set this place on fire shortly after murdering the chef with rusty scissors... the best thing about the food was the bottled water and the napkin!

15/07/2025: This restaurant was already tried under the previous management, especially for its splendid location on the beach. The current experience is terrible. The wait times are very long (an hour for a simple pasta dish for a child) and the prices are very high (12 euros for the aforementioned simple pasta dish).

13/07/2025: Chosen at random... I was a bit skeptical given the reviews, but I'm happy to give it 5 stars. The place and location are incredible, with a breathtaking sunset over Portoferraio. There was a small initial mix-up with the wine, but it was quickly resolved brilliantly. We had two excellent starters, very good wine, and a gin and tonic and sgroppino to finish the evening, all of which were excellent. The bill isn't exactly cheap, but it's justified given the location.
