05/03/2026: Unreliable and unprofessional. Avoid. I booked this hotel months ago for a trail race weekend. Now, just two weeks before my stay, they have cancelled my reservation with no explanation and no alternative. My entire trip is already paid for—flights, race entry, and transport. Because of the race, everything in the area is now fully booked. They have left me stranded and ruined my plans. You cannot trust this hotel. They clearly don't care about their customers. Do not book here if you actually need a place to stay.

19/03/2026: I must say, it was an interesting dinner. Laura's service was impeccable, and the chef paid special attention. He was meticulous, clean, and attentive to my friend's allergies! The location is beautiful, and definitely worth a try.

03/01/2026: Definitely a nice place. But always a different waiter/bartender, prices never the same. I recommend a larger plate for an aperitif, as the leftovers will be thrown away. It's better to finish everything.

26/08/2025: A truly positive experience The place doesn't have a sea view, but it's right on the sea, away from the crowds and noise. You don't see the sun set, but the moon rise. The pizza and schiacciatine are excellent, because the pizza chef has, I'd say, thirty years of experience!!! The owners are kind and professional, and the waitress is attentive and friendly. Highly recommended

16/07/2025: I don't usually write reviews, but in this case, I think everyone should know where they're going and not be misled by other people's good reviews. My family and I came at lunchtime to eat together—there were five of us. However, we couldn't order anything other than sandwiches. We asked for mojitos: two with alcohol and two without. The mojitos had spoiled mint and stale lemon. The drink tasted disappointing and was unpleasant. We addressed the issue with the bartender, but received only negative comments. Furthermore, the service was disgusting: the women were unfriendly and rude. I don't recommend this cafe. I usually don't write reviews, but this time I feel that everyone should know where they are going and not be misled by the good reviews of others. 09/10/2025: First night in Lucca and didn’t have a reservation anywhere. Tried to get into a highly recommended restaurant but it was full. Found Piccolo Mondo and they could take us (only 2 people). Food was excellent - soup, shrimp risotto, broccoli flan and spaghetti bolognese. All great! But service was horrible - the staff made us feel like they were doing us a favour by even recognizing us. But there are SO many great restaurants to enjoy that one doesn’t have to put up with such poor service.

10/12/2025: An unpretentious osteria serving traditional Tuscan dishes, such as pici with wild boar ragù, liver, and rabbit in Brunello wine. A homey atmosphere and friendly, welcoming staff. The house wine and homemade tart were very good (it reminded me so much of the one my grandmother used to make when I was little!!!). Good value for money.

15/02/2026: I'm sorry to have to give this rating, but I would encourage the owners to update their opening and closing hours on Google Maps. For me, as an out-of-towner, opening Google Maps to look for a brunch spot, taking a 30-minute walk to get there, and finding it closed on a Saturday lunchtime when Google listed it as open was quite unfortunate. I would encourage people to pay more attention, especially those like me who aren't local and rely on Google for their searches. I'm pretty sure we could have had a good lunch, but unfortunately, we weren't able to.

12/10/2025: It was the first beach resort in Italy; it was a villa that was sold to make way for a beach resort, a very interesting place from this perspective....

08/04/2026: Terrible service. The dishes arrived more than thirty minutes apart, when the first course was finished, and the others hadn't even started. My dish arrived cold. We asked for bread three times, were told it was out, and then five minutes later it appeared on the table behind us. We got up, and the bread clearly never arrived. A truly awful experience, and an embarrassing quality-price ratio.

01/03/2026: We went to this very neat and clean restaurant today. The staff was friendly and the food was good. I recommend it to everyone. Even our Golden Retriever Buddy loved it. Thank you so much.

15/11/2025: When you think you know a thing or two about pizza and then suddenly THIS happens. After cycling nearly 440 km through Tuscany, we were looking for a place to eat together before leaving. There were several very good dishes on offer, but this pizza was a real surprise. With its location, amazing food, and friendly people, this restaurant comes highly recommended.
