06/05/2025: Reading the reviews, it seemed like a retro place, but with a simple but valid offering. We happened upon a night when pizza wasn't available (perhaps you should specify this when you book, since it's primarily a pizzeria) due to their own problems. We decided to stay anyway, given how late it was, and we regretted it: terrible appetizers, poorly prepared and rushed first courses. It's a shame because it really gave the impression of a tired, worn-out place. From the staff to the place, I couldn't find a single positive thing... not even the POS was working that night. I'm sorry, but I would never recommend it.

04/10/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant yesterday by chance. The wait staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, even promptly responding to our request to move and light the fire pit to keep our two-month-old baby warm. The food was excellent, the wait time was normal for freshly prepared dishes, and the wine was also worth it. They accept dogs and were kind enough to provide a bowl of water if needed. I really liked that the chef (and I assume the owner) walked around the tables to make sure everything was okay, but without being intrusive. I highly recommend it and thank them for the wonderful evening we spent there.

17/04/2026: Terrible food, the sauces are a random mix of ingredients. Some of them are comparable to dirty water. Awful service; the waiters are rude and unresponsive to any kind of request, EVEN REGARDING CUSTOMERS' FOOD INTOLERANCES. Furthermore, they couldn't reach all the dishes without bumping into the people sitting on their side of the table. The tavern is located in an easily accessible alley, but it's filled with a very unpleasant odor and garbage, even right outside the front door.

04/06/2025: Wirklich ein klasse Restaurant. Ich habe 2x hier gegessen, einmal die Spaghetti Carbonara und 1x die Tagliatelle mit Wildschweinragu. Dazu jeweils einen gemischten Salat. Der Hauserin hat ebenfalls prima geschmeckt und die Pasta war jeweils auf den Punkt. Eine klare Empfehlung, da in dieser Straße ein Restaurant am anderen liegt und auch ein paar Nieten dabei sind.

05/05/2025: Un buen restaurante cerca del ferrocarril principal que sirve auténtica comida local, incluyendo un excelente tiramisú casero. El servicio fue amable y eficiente. Muy recomendable.

14/07/2025: 2** er ikke meget, men det som ramte vores borde var, desværre ikke længere end til 2**. Den bedste servering var den ene forret, helt simpelt bruschetta, var gode, og så alligevel også lidt ærgerligt at der var hældt tørret oregano ud over. Pasta retterne var, en spøjs sammensætning. Under krydret, og i den ene ret et ubestemmeligt krydderi som gjorde at retten ikke hang sammen. På gulvet var det en lidt træt aften, vinen kom efter forretterne, der blev foreslået dessert inden hovedretterne (pasta) var serveret etc. Lokalets indretning er jo ejerens valg, men uha der var mange køleskabe i rummet, om det styrke det etiske det tror jeg man skal være køleskabe sælger for at syntes.

02/03/2026: We went to City Life on Saturday evening. The dishes were well-prepared and high-quality, and the prices were reasonable, without being overpriced—which isn't a given, considering some places have decidedly exorbitant price increases. The menu offers a good variety, including classic cuisine, pizzas, and ethnic dishes. The pizza has improved significantly since I tried it a few years ago. The only downside of the evening was the service: despite the very kind owners, it was quite slow. Despite having made a reservation at 9:40 PM, we were seated well after 10:00 PM. During dinner, the wait to order and receive our dishes was quite long, and even at the end of the meal, dessert had gotten lost along the way, and we had to ask for it several times. Overall, it was a positive experience for the variety of food and the atmosphere.

14/03/2026: Unfortunately, the review is negative due to the owner's rudeness. We were the first to arrive at 7:20 PM, but she didn't have time to tell us that the pizzas were excluded from the TheFork promotion. This exclusion isn't listed in the app or when booking, but only in a line at the bottom of the menu. When I complained, the owner stood her ground and refused to accommodate me. She may have earned €7 gross for a non-discounted pizza, but she lost us and the people we know as customers. I should point out that this is the third time we've dined here, and the previous times weren't great either. I don't recommend the porcini mushroom polenta crostini, which tastes like nothing, nor the porcini mushroom tagliata for the same reason and because the meat is tough.

11/03/2026: Very nice and welcoming place! We had a really good time during our lunch, from the welcome to the food. The spaghetti with tomato sauce, burrata, and pistachios was simple but fabulous! We'll definitely be back to try other dishes on the menu. See you soon 🤗

28/12/2025: I went for lunch. The food was excellent. I had an appetizer and excellent pici cacio e pepe. To finish, I had two excellent desserts. Excellent service. The staff was always available. The owner was always available for any need.

19/04/2026: Had a lovely meal here with my family, the restaurant is decorated with lots of lovely artwork and the staff were extremely welcoming and funny. I had the Capricciosa pizza and the cheesecake (both SO good), prices were great for good portion sizes, relaxed atmosphere and would definitely return if in Florence :)
