02/01/2026: Traditional dishes. The Tuscan soup, tripe, and pici al vino were all very good. Adequate portions. Very good service, attentive and helpful. Average price for a cover charge, a first course, a second course, a glass of house red, a coffee, and 1 liter of water.

16/02/2026: I especially recommend this place for breakfast. You can enjoy not only a sweet croissant with your coffee, but also delicious sandwiches with cold cuts, vegetables, and cheese. They also offer warm and gluten-free sandwiches. The service is friendly and smiling. The prices are very reasonable. There's music playing on the TV.

29/11/2025: 12.50 euros for 2 cans and a tea brought by a waiter who was completely lost in his own world, strange to say the least. The most expensive Fanta on the planet, 5 euros for 33cl, wow.

28/12/2025: Welcoming atmosphere and excellent food. The three of us were with our two dogs. We enjoyed the tender and flavorful tagliata and the excellent duck with onions. The side of turnip greens and the crostini as an appetizer were also good. We recommend it. Good value!

30/08/2025: We actually came here for the view, but there are definitely better options in town for that. From the table, it was difficult to get a good view of the surrounding landscape. The courtyard is surrounded by a relatively high wall. The food was very tasty. The fish dishes were also excellent. The service could have been a bit more proactive; we practically had to constantly get their attention when we wanted to order something.

27/08/2025: We ended up here by accident. We fell in love with this charming Tuscan town on our way to Siena. While strolling, we spotted a wonderful local restaurant with a very extensive menu. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, with a beautiful view from the terrace. All the dishes we ordered were fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. We didn't wait long for our food. The service was very friendly. You can pay by card. There are plenty of free parking spaces nearby. The small town is perfect for an evening stroll.

12/12/2025: The restaurant is a vibe, and the staff were great. Everything looked beautiful; however, we were disappointed with the dishes. We did the expensive tasting menu, and not a single dish was memorable except one that was disgusting. (I am an adventurous eater and not picky. It was surprisingly nasty.) Sadly, I wouldn't recommend eating here until the taste matches the presentation/service.

14/11/2025: Dinner for 2 Intimate atmosphere. Very refined setting. Open kitchen. Friendly, welcoming, and helpful staff. Excellent food. Refined preparation. A top culinary experience. We chose the à la carte menu accompanied by a glass of their own white wine, very very good. Definitely not a place for everyone. The dishes are around €35 ​​each. But it's definitely an experience worth having. We had a wonderful time and ate very well. We also received extra welcome plates, pre-dessert, and their own bread accompanied by butter (exceptional) and their own oil. As well as a surprising selection of breadsticks. Recommended!

Partner desperately needed the loo so we popped in (we were going to buy a drink regardless as we're Brit's and only feel that's polite) we asked for 2 x spiced rum and coke, we got billed for 2 x cocktails, massively over charged in my opinion! The waitress also tried to short change us! Partner being registered blind! Went to put change in his wallet! Thankfully I realized before this happened and insisted it got sorted! Both the server that charged us and made our drinks were extremely rude. slightly ruined our experience in Florence If I could give this place 0 starts I would! I went toilet elsewhere and the server refused payment or to let us pay for a drink! Tourists to avoid My partner was desperate to go to the toilet, so we went in (we had intended to order a drink anyway, as we're English and it seems like the polite thing to do). We ordered two spiced rums and colas, but they charged us for two cocktails. In my opinion, an exorbitant price! The waitress even tried to give us the wrong change! My companion is blind! He was about to put the change in his wallet! Luckily, I noticed before it happened and insisted that the situation be resolved! Both the waitress who gave us the bill and the one who mixed our drinks were extremely rude. They somewhat ruined our experience in Florence. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would! I went to the bathroom elsewhere and the waitress refused to take payment or charge us for drinks!

10/04/2026: We came here every morning for coffee during our stay and thoroughly enjoyed it each time. There's a counter with a fantastic selection of pastries – all fresh, delicious, and with gluten-free options. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and you can tell that many locals come here too, which is always a good sign. The prices are absolutely fair. In the afternoon, you can sit comfortably outside and even receive table service, which we found particularly pleasant. The café is also located a bit off the beaten tourist track, which creates a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended!

13/09/2025: We happened upon Porto Ercole by chance and had lunch at Gambero Rosso. Nice place with a sea view. Two first courses and two desserts with half a liter of wine. €90, too expensive in my opinion.

17/01/2026: The core business is the lack of respect for public quiet hours, both on the part of patrons, who sing drunken chants, and the staff, who carelessly smash glass bottles, especially after 2 a.m. This happens in the outdoor area, let's call it that, of this refined wine bar in Massa.

06/05/2025: Reading the reviews, it seemed like a retro place, but with a simple but valid offering. We happened upon a night when pizza wasn't available (perhaps you should specify this when you book, since it's primarily a pizzeria) due to their own problems. We decided to stay anyway, given how late it was, and we regretted it: terrible appetizers, poorly prepared and rushed first courses. It's a shame because it really gave the impression of a tired, worn-out place. From the staff to the place, I couldn't find a single positive thing... not even the POS was working that night. I'm sorry, but I would never recommend it.

04/10/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant yesterday by chance. The wait staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, even promptly responding to our request to move and light the fire pit to keep our two-month-old baby warm. The food was excellent, the wait time was normal for freshly prepared dishes, and the wine was also worth it. They accept dogs and were kind enough to provide a bowl of water if needed. I really liked that the chef (and I assume the owner) walked around the tables to make sure everything was okay, but without being intrusive. I highly recommend it and thank them for the wonderful evening we spent there.
